Fullmetal Alchemist is not mine.

Author's Note: I have been getting reviews on who this poem is about, I wrote it about Roy and Riza. They were attacked and Riza was killed and Roy is upset over the fact that she died saving him. So hope this clears things up.

Her

Her name falls from your lips, a forgotten tribute.

A lock of hair, precious once, lays wasted on the floor.

Broken photo frames, a smiling face scratched from memories.

Clothing torn, thrown away.

Her name won't stop falling from your bleeding lips.

Nor will her gentle caresses, whispered from a time forgotten, leave your skin.

Everything her hands touched bring you pain.

In anger you throw them.

Her name once again let free from your lips, this time a curse.

She didn't wait for you, with a dying smile she went ahead.

You blame her; she's the one who wanted to wait a little longer.

She was the one that refused to leave your side.

She was the one that gave up every memory for you.

You wanted to hate her for it.

For the shattered glass, the blood, fear, pain.

But if she's not there to make everything better there is no point.

There is no happy ending, only forever empty nights and lost dreams.
