Author's Note/Rant:

I've had several reviews and private e-mails regarding the pairing in both "If I Can See It And Feel It" and "Beyond The Senses". My suggestion is that if you don't like it, don't read it. Nothing can be said to make me alter my stories, especially some of the abuse I've received lately. Abuse, I might add, only reflects badly on the one that hurls it. I don't do conventional pairings. I'm quite clear on that in my bio. The world will probably end before I ever write a conventional pairing. The challenge to make an unlikely pairing or an unusual one work, is half the fun. I have no quarrel with the Rick/Evie pairing but I just prefer not to write it. I ask simply that certain readers act with a little more maturity and give me the modicum of respect that any author is due.

As for updating the second story in the series (Beyond The Senses), I hope to do so in the near future. Real life has intruded with commitments that I could not avoid. Universities are quite adamant that you sit various exams and complete research assignments if you don't want to fail. Don't fear that I've given up on this story. The last one took over a year to complete. The length of this fic will probably be similar if not longer, and thus take at least that long to be completed. I admit some of the wait will be due to my life commitments.

I apologize if I've ruffled any feathers with my rant. Most readers have been absolutely lovely. I thank you for your wonderful reviews! It's nice to know that people enjoy my work.
