"I talked to Hercules today," I told the small grave. "It made me realize something pretty important. He said that you're never a true hero until you make a sacrifice. 'When have I ever made a sacrifice?', I thought."
I took a pause and looked at the grave name. 'Riku- Always alive in our memories forever.' "You know, I really need to stop coming here everyday. It's not like you're even dead. Just… in a place where we'll never see you again. But back to the story. I realized that I'm not the hero I always thought I was. It was you who were the hero. You sacrificed your own heart for Kairi and walked into the darkness without hesitation."
A tear rolled down my cheek, and my nose got stuffy. I sniffed, and continued. "You're probably laughing at how stupid I am! Oh screw you… You're probably screwing some really hot angel, you bastard… this is so pointless. Kairi says that I should move on, that's why she stopped coming down here with me. The baby should be coming anytime now. I can't believe that I'm going to be a father soon!"
I took a deep sigh. I traced the letters with my fingers, the grave was marble so it was supposed to 'last longer.' "I would have named you godfather. I had always planned that since we met Kairi on the beach…"
"I'll tell my baby about you, and how I met the best hero ever. I'll tell him of your bravery and courage, and your story. I promise. I'm never coming back after today…"
I picked up a sharp rock that was nearby. He scratched with all my strength in some letters, then looked back at my work. "Good bye, Riku."
