(A/N: Here it is. It was something that was growing in my mind all week. Review.)
Padme felt a disturbance. Someone had died and joined her- for the ten-millionth time. Many people had died since she had. Her aura glowed with boredom. Oh, how she missed her Ani. She missed the way he used to hold her, kiss her. She knew that there had been good in him. Yet, she also felt guilty about it. It was her fault that he went to the dark side.
She never got to touch her little girl, just her boy. She missed out on a lot. They would join her in many years to come. She felt a reassuring pat on her shoulder. She looked up to see Obi-Wan. "There is someone here to see you Padme." He said with a smirk that said I-Know-Something-You-Don't-Know.
She shrugged as she was turning, thinking that it was Bail, maybe Jamilla. Instead, she saw Anakin. He was just how she remembered him. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tall. The way he used to be before he turned. Her breath drew in. It really was Ani! "Ani," She whispered. "Ani!"
She ran forward as fast as she could. She was breathing heavily as she ran into his outstretched arms. He held her, just like he used to. "I've missed you so much!" She cried. He picked her up and set her back down again. Then he kissed her. "Me, too." Anakin said.
He ran his fingers through her dark brown hair. They ran over her chest, over the japor snippet that he had given her as an eight-year-old boy. "You kept this, even after I did this to you." Anakin said, his eyes filled with pain and sorrow as he gestured with his hands, around the white space behind them.
"Ani," Padme started, her hand stroking his cheek. "You listen to me. I will always love you, no matter what. Remember that."
He looked down at his feet. "I have to tell you about those things I did. I…" He trailed off.
Padme interrupted him. "I know what you did, and I do forgive you. However, that thing with Luke and Leia was pretty brutal."
"Sorry," Muttered Anakin. He meant it.
"I mean, you cut off his hand, and you tortured her. What is your problem?" She laughed.
"You're not going to let me forget that, are you?' Anakin asked.
"Not a chance, Skywalker."
"Joy."
The kissed again. Padme buried her head in his chest. Anakin kissed the top of her head. They turned around, watching their son and daughter look at Ani's grave. Finally, they were together again. They needed time to catch up. But, after all, they had all eternity.
(A/N: Aaaaaaaaand? Did ya like it? Didja? Huh? Huh? Huh? Tell me in a review!)
