A/N: This is for those who watched the special on Children In Need. I think that that scene they showed is actually the start of the episode in December, so don't worry if you missed it, biut I litterally screamed when it stopped and ran to the computer. That is NOT how I would have liked it to go, so I made my own version. This, for once, is not a oneshot.

Rose stared at the Doctor.

"Are you OK?"

"Rose, look. The regeneration is going wrong. I should never have absorbed all that. I can't actually tell you what's going on."

The doctor convulsed again. His eyes shined an eerie blue, and his face took on a positively creepy glow. "how about we get a little more adventurous? Say… Back in time?"

"Doctor, I don't think you're in the right mind to-" He cut her off.

"Faster! Back in time! Time Lords.. yes.. we can go and meet them. Save them."

Rose blinked in confusion. "But how.. you said their very existence was wiped.."

He took on the most menacing glare Rose had ever seen. It terrified her. He grabbed her by the shoulders, slamming her bodily against the console wall. "You just love bringing that up, don't you?" he spat in her face. "You love to gloat about the fact that you lot have millions of years left, there are plenty of you, and you can go back and say hi whenever you please." He looked more insane than ever, slamming Rose against the wall once more. She nearly whimpered in fear. "You just love to abuse the knowledge. The knowledge I gave to you. You don't think I've just forgotten about my dead planet, do you? It haunts me, Rose. Every damn day of my life, I wake up, hoping that it had all been a dream, that those creatures," He hissed that word particularly viciously. "Had never met us. That I was waking up to another day on my own planet. But no, that was too much to ask for, wasn't it. Well, guess what? I'M SICK OF IT."

With that, he sped the ship up faster, and ran around to the other side of the console.

Rose was nears tears. "Doctor, what's going on? I just wanted to tell you that… I'm sorry.. You're scaring me!"

"I DON'T CARE!" He screamed. His eyes were now red. "I'M SICK OF IT ALL, AND I'M GOING TO SAVE THE BLOODY PLANET OR DIE TRYING!" He looked
towards Rose, and added as an afterthought, "and I'm bringing you with me."
