I know am nasty so sowi 2 all those kai fans out there.

Ray walked into the bathroom his face emotionless. His clothes were covered in blood, Kai's blood. Looking at the once white floor Ray aloud his thoughts and memories to take over him.

-------FLASHBACK-------

"Kai!" Ray stared at his captain. Kai's wrists were pouring with blood. Running forward Ray lifted Kai's head onto his knees. Tears gathered n his eyes as Kai's stared up at him almost lifeless.

"Kai please hold on! Please!"

"Ray" Slowly Kai tried talking, "I'm sorry. I let you and the team down." Ray noticed his breathing was laboured.

"No Kai you haven't you've never let us down. Just hold on please." Looking up Ray saw the rest of the team frozen on the spot, more tears gathered in his eyes as anger over took ray,

'Why are they just standing there? Kai's dying!"

"Kai's dying! Call an ambulance!" Clenching his teeth Ray watched as Kenny ran back into the living room and max grabbed some towels.

Looking back into Kai's eyes Ray saw the life was slowly draining away from them. "No Kai hold on!"

"I'm sorry Ray I…I never meant to be weak, for you to see this," Tears gathered in Kai's eyes as he lifted his hand to Ray.

Grabbing hold of it like a lifeline Ray shook his head, "You've never been weak Kai."

"I let you all down and I'm sorry," with a last breath Ray felt Kai's grip on his hand disappear.

"Kai no!" tears fell as Ray held Kai's hand tighter as if hoping Kai would grip back.

The sound of sirens could be heard but Ray was captured in the lifeless yet pained eyes of his captain.

-------FLASHBACK------

As the memory faded Ray shut his eyes hoping the tears wouldn't fall again. 'Pull yourself together Ray; Kai wouldn't want to see you like this. Why Kai?' a vision of the stoic teen hovered in front of Ray.

Shaking his head Ray ran out the bathroom. In the bedroom he and Kai shared Ray collapsed on his bed. Looking round the room Ray's eyes fell on a white envelope on Kai's pillow.

Curious Ray picked it up. On the front written untidily was 'the blade breakers', noticing the writing Ray ripped it open. Inside was a letter and something else. Picking it up from his lap newly formed tears ran down Ray's cheek.

It was Dranzer's bit.

Grasping it tightly Ray began reading the letter:

Dear teammates,

By the time you have read this I pray I will be gone. I have let you all down once too many times and for that I am sorry. I may not have told you but I appreciated your friendship, I never had or was never aloud any true friends in the abbey, so thank you.

Tyson I know we had our far few of fights (Ray smiled at this bit.) but I hope you don't remember me from them. I believe if you keep training and your love for dragoon and beyblading stays strong you'll stay on top.

Max I may have moaned at you for always smiling and looking on the good side of life, the truth is I was jelous of you. You were always happy even in the worst of times, and for that I respect you.

Kenny I may have called you a computer freak but if it wasn't for you knowledge and dizzi I know I wouldn't have won as many times as I did. So thank you.

And finally Ray, I want to thank you the most, you always tried not to make me choose your point of view you always listerned to me. Thank you. But try and keep your couriosity under control for it'll get you in trouble one of these days.

Once you find out what I have done you may not know why I've done what I've done. And I hope you never do, also I hope none of you suffer the pain I have .

So goodbye to all of you guys, and for one last time thank you for your friendship.

Looking down at Dranzer's bit Ray gripped it tighter and one thought came to his mind, 'Don't worry Kai I'll look after Dranzer.'
