Okay, before anyone asks, I DO NOT LOVE MATT! I just wrote this with him in mind. This could be just about anyone's view of Matt, (personally I think it may be Tai's or Sora's, but that's just my opinion).

I love getting reviews, and since this is my first attempt at poetry, I really would appreciate the feedback.

My lover is like the sea,

His endless blue eyes go on forever,

Plunging deep into my soul,

The deepest blue I have ever found,

And yet, they turn pale,

Like the shallows at the beach,

So warm I could run forever,

Across their reflective surface.

My lover is like the sea.

His hair shines like the golden sun,

Enticing me to reach out,

For what is unattainable,

The shine glinting of the angles,

Like wave crests at the still noon,

The light dancing this way then that,

Across the angular, yet smooth surface.

My lover is like the sea,

His arms enfold me,

I float in his warmth, safe and secure,

Then he turns, the warmth leaving me,

He becomes cold, uncaring,

I could drown in his depths, his violence,

His cold, cold fist lashes out,

Taking out his frustration on the nearby rocks.

My lover is like the sea.
