Prologue

Serenity's POV

Love can be two things. Your greatest treasure and your most tragic lost. For me, it was a little different. It became an addiction, it became a drug and I was hooked. But was it truly that bad? Was being in love with the person that makes you that happy despite what everyone say so bad? It can't be because…that person is the only that cares and understands you and doesn't put you in a mold but let's you be who are whenever you're around them. That's what I felt when I met him and look into those blue eyes for the first time. A person I never thought I would fall for. We both did anything to be with each other even if it meant leaving what you had behind and put the world behind you to start your life together. But does love…mean destroying yourself too?
