Author's Note: I actually don't have much to say about this. First off, it's really short. Second... I don't know. There's just a first. There.

Disclaimer: I'm sure you would all love it so very much if I owned Kingdom Hearts, but, unfortunately, I don't.

"Playground Boyfriends"

WhiteLightning

Little Sora sat alone in the corner of the playground, his blue eyes staring at his feet, brown hair falling over them. Nobody acknowledged him there.

Except one person.

Little Riku came over and sat down next to him, but Sora didn't notice. He tapped the smaller boy on the shoulder to get his attention. "Heeeey..." he greeted.

Sora looked up at the voice to find himself staring into a pair of aquamarine eyes. "...Hi," the brunette responded.

"You have pretty eyes," Riku noted, smiling.

Blinking, Sora frowned. "Your eyes are prettier," he countered, "and you have pretty hair."

"But I like your eyes more," Riku stated. "...Why are you sitting by yourself?"

The brunette looked back down at his feet and answered, "Because nobody wants to play with me."

Riku looked taken aback. "Why wouldn't they want to play with you?"

"They said 'cause I don't have a girlfriend."

"Oh..." The sever-year-old thought about that for a moment before he suddenly got an idea. "I know! Why don't I be your girlfriend?"

Giggling, Sora argued, "But you're a boy!"

"Then, I'll be you're boyfriend. Will that do?"

Sora smiled, looking up at Riku, and nodded. "Kairi and Selphie have boyfriends, so I guess that would be okay!"

"Then it's settled!" Quickly, Riku hopped up and grabbed Sora's hand, pulling him up, too. "I'm your boyfriend, and you're mine, and now we can both play with the other kids!"

Both of them grinned, and ran, hand-in-hand, towards the other kids to play.

Author's Note 2: Right, so... I thought it was a cute, little... thing... Hehe.
