Summary:This doesn't really have a plot. Takes place when Rudolph is still a vampire. Tony introduces Rudolph to bubblegum. Oh yeah! Just, like, that (-) much angst.

"What's that?" Rudolph snapped Tony out of his thoughts. He had absent-mindedly pulled a pack a bubblegum he had been saving out of his pocket.

"What? Oh, this? It's bubblegum."

Rudolph looked at it strangely. "Bubblegum?"

"Yeah. You want some?"

Before he could say anything, Tony handed him a piece.

"W-What do I do with it?"

Before answering, Tony popped his piece into his mouth. "You chew it."

Rudolph stared at substance for a moment before following suit, and starting to chew. The sudden burst of flavor took him by surprise.

"You like it?" Tony asked.

Rudolph didn't answer ; merely nodded and leaned back on the bed.

"Something wrong?"

"No, nothing. I'm just...savoring this."

"What?" Tony asked, bewildered.

Rudolph sat back up and looked Tony straight in the eyes.

"You haven't noticed, have you?" He asked softly.

"Noticed? Noticed what? Dude, don't play 20 Questions with me, okay?"

"20 Quest---look, whatever. I'm not."

"Well, you're confusing me."

"You haven't noticed," He said, ignoring the last comment and moving up so close to Tony that their faces were almost touching. "...anything?" He said, sounding defeated, his facial expression changing from irritated to torn and lonely.

Tony was a little intimidated. Rudolph was at a foot taller than him, and the height difference even showed up when they were sitting on the bed.

"All the...little things? All the little unnecessary touches and glances? Anything!"

Slowly, Tony shook his head rather apologeticly.

Rudolph looked him up and down one last time before getting up from the bed and walking towards the window.

"Rudolph..."

"I have to get home."

"You're supposed to be staying over night."

"My parents can live with a surprise." He said, not looking at Tony.

"Please don't go." He was at Rudolph's side when he said this.

He leaned in close to Rudolph's ear and whispered,

"I did notice, you know. Everything. Everything, Rudolph. I was just scared."

Rudolph took a deep breath before answering.

"Scared o-of what?" He was getting pretty close to him. Touching him, even.

"Of losing you. I was scared you'd think I was a freak.

"Tony, I'm a vampire. I'm the friggin' definition of "Freak"." His eyes were wide open now.

"Don't talk like that. You're not a freak." Tony said defensivley.

"Then what am I? I don't feel like anything."

"You're..." Tony traied off.

Rudolph turned to face him.

"What? What am I to you?" His eyes help hope.

"Perfect." Tony said, before wrapping his arms around Rudolph's neck and kissing him on the lips.
