She fingered the silky-smooth cloth lightly. Observing every intricate detail of the wedding dress that she was wearing for it had been made just for her. The material was a combination of a two fabrics silk and satin. The color itself was a shade of snowy-white, the silk and satin were both silky-smooth that reflected the light of the full. The dress itself was designed to be Empire style, with tiny crystals adorning the low neckline, the sleeves were off the shoulders, and the high waistline was decorated with silver thread that created beautiful rosettes interlacing each other that went around the entire waistline of the dress. The straight and narrow skirts were made up of two parts. The top skirt was made from an antique silvery-white lace that covered the second skirt partway. It was then stitched to the high waistline and it parted to the sides leaving the second skirt fully visible. The second skirt itself was the same silky-smooth material as the rest of the wedding dress.

As for Serena, she had adorned herself rather carefully for she did not want to over do it.

For makeup, she wore colors that were natural to her complexion. Her golden-hair was beautifully arranged by one of her best friends. It was adorned by a silvery rose patterned ribbon that had been braided into her hair before it was wound up on top of her head. Then it was garlanded with tiny silk white roses and a diaphanous veil that settle over her beautiful form. It was simple yet she looked quite elegant.

Like a vision of what the Goddess Selene herself would look as if she were to grace the mortals with her presence.

Serena took a good look in the mirror never imagining that this day would come when she would this dress. She looked beyond beautiful, with an air royalty about her, elegant in every detail, and knowing that soon she would be with the man, she loved. Even though, she knew all the trials they had both had to face before they could be together in this lifetime. For in the beginning they had to die together, in the present they had been enemies, and lovers, and soon to be in the future they would be man and wife, king and queen and together for the rest of their lives.

For the silver lace that she wears today on her wedding day has certain significance. The symbol of an ancient legacy once forgotten and left to myth, but now has made a place again in the finest moments of earth. It represents a love that has never been tarnished throughout the many, many years. It embodies the divine Goddess of the Moon. Although she has many names, Serena becomes her now and a new era begins. Soon to be King and Queen of the era known as Crystal Tokyo. The silver lace will have an everlasting remembrance to Serena. It was always something that was around since her past, her present, and her future.
