Happy Valentine's Day
-
Yuka sat, bored on the couch. She flipped through the channels on TV, stopping at random anime shows, not following the plot (if there even was one).
Febuary 14th. Valentine's Day. The day for lovers. Boys and girls, frolicking through fields of wield flowers, stating bold declerations of love for one another. And Yuka's boyfriend and she would be too. Real soon. Possibly. Maybe. Unlikely. No. Hell no.
Yuka snorted and blew a lock of her brown hair from her eyes. 'Right, the day Renkotsu becomes a romantic and starts reading me sappy poems, shows up at the door with roses and chocolates is the day hell freezes over and the day the human race ends.'
Renkotsu wasn't exactly the ideal boyfriend for...anyone...but Yuka loved him anyway. He was cold, rude, bitter, apathetic, until he lost his temper anyways, and a man whore. Yuka knew it too. She found his Little Black Book a long time ago. She just never told him. So, why did she love him so much? What was it about this bald, jerky, overprotective moron that made her swoon?
The doorbell rang.
Yuka got up and opened the door.
No one was there. She looked left, right, up, and then down. On the floor was a heart box. Like a candy box. A small, plain white card was slipped inside the ribbon. She picked it up, took out the note and read it. It said:
Happy Valentine's Day Yuka. Now turn around.
Yuka raised an eye brow, but turned around anyways.
There stood Renkotsu, in his normal gothic-cowboy get-up. He lifted her chin and kissed her daintly on the lips.
'So it's his kiss...' She thought, 'It's his kiss that makes me love him...'
