A Crush, An Enemy

I like her. A lot. She's smart, beautiful, opinionated..... I could go on for ages. The only downfall is that she hangs out with riff raff like Potter and Weasley. She deserves much better friends. The only reason I would transfer to Gryffindor would be to become closer to her. Yea, right. She doesn't want anything to do with me. Maybe if I got closer to her friends, I could get closer to her.....

None of the Slytherins like her. They think she is a brainy know-it-all with large front teeth and bushy hair. That's not true at all! She's gorgeous, prettier than that Pansy Parkinson. Everyone thinks I like that pug faced moron. Ugh, as if. I have eyes only for Hermione. Sweet, kind, smart Hermione. One time I told her she was cute. No one else was round, of course, but she heard me say it. She blushed afterwards and said she had something to attend to elsewhere.

I honestly don't know why I'm thinking about her. Normally I only dream about her, not think about her. Once I had a dream she said she loved me. I was so happy until I woke up and found it all to be a dream. My life seems so complicated. Why must I have a crush on a girl who hates the thought of me? I'm just unlucky like that, I guess. Maybe today I'll ask her to be my girlfriend..... Nah. She'd definitely say no. Well, I'll give it a try, see what she says.
