Chapter One: I'm Sorry

Rain pelted down onto the roofs of the buildings of Gotham City. A lone caped figure stood on the edge of the T-tower Island. The cold waters of the ocean raged against the rocky side of the cliff. The hood of the cape slipped back to revel the face of a girl.

Raven breathed in the icy air as she stepped closer to the edge. The pain of betrayal gripped at her heart but her face remained passive. She breathed and lead forwards as the memory of that had happened earlier that week filled her mind. Tears slowly leaked out of her eyes.

"I'm sorry..." Raven's normally monotone voice cracked. Closing her eyes, she pushed off of the ground only to fall into the raging waves of the sea. Her mouth opened and sea water rushed into her mouth. She fell farther and farther into the cold depths of the ocean. With each passing second, Raven slipped into unconsciousness. Finally, her body went limp...
