Nothing

Summary: To you, he was your world, and to him, you were nothing.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Harry Potter characters, and the very last line is from the song, My Happy Ending by Avril Lavigne.

He was your world.

He was everything, and anything to you. He was your sun, sky, moon, friend, hero, just plain everything. And you, you were everything to him too.

Or so you thought.

You were happy. You didn't have the exact truth about his feelings for you, and part of you didn't want to know. You could think anything you wanted, believe anything you desired to believe. Like that he loved you, just didn't want to show it. You could pretend he dreamt of you, the way you did of him.

You were okay with that.

Then one day your dream ended. The story hit a snag. The euphoria was destroyed. You couldn't pretend anymore, and the word happiness seemed to fall out of your vocabulary. It was something that didn't seem to be possible anymore.

You always thought you and him were meant to be, that you and him would find your ways back to each other no matter what, but no, not anymore.

You watched as your world crumbled, shattered, and fell down at your feet. You stood, a blank stare covering your face. That large gap in your heart only seemed to get bigger, only seemed to grow. To put it simply, you wanted to die, and part of you did in fact.

That little, naïve, girl who had given her heart away at such a young age, that small child that stood in the dark corner waiting for him to notice, was gone. She was the part of you that was dead, and this time, you knew she would remain dead.

You were different after that. Everyone, including your significant other began to take notice, and questioned were asked. You would always brush them off however. What were you supposed to say to Ron? That you were upset because you were in love with someone else, and couldn't have them, or that your world was crumbling before your very eyes?

You saw him for the first time the other day. Ron was beside you, holding your hand, and you heard him call your name. You turned around, and your eyes were instantly met that of emerald green. It was then your heart broke into a million pieces, it was then your world was gone, it was then you knew that while he meant the world to you, you meant absolutely nothing to him.
