Twelve years ago I started writing this story. I was a volunteer at the library that I now work at. I was single, now I'm married (and I've got kids! WHAT?). I was a high school student; now I've been out of college for several years with a BA in English Literature. I just re-read this and re-read every last comment that was left on the story and, if you still have this set to notify - thank you. Thank you for reading this story. Thank you for hanging in there for five long years while life happened around my writing.

Coming back and re-visiting this story has made me remember how much I loved doing what I did, and with that, I'm here to announce that I'll be opening up my laptop once more to complete the journey that this started. I realized that I had left plot holes. What happened to Derya? Do Kurtis and Lara stay together? Do they raise her together? Do they go their separate ways? Well, I'm ready to tackle that.
