Author's Notes: Heya guys, I'm back… maybe. I've decided that it's bad to leave things unfinished and in order to get back into this story, I'm gonna edit and fix it up. Hopefully, by the time I get through all 20 chapters, I'll remember what I was doing with chapter 21. :D Hold on guys and let's hope that this new beginning leads to an end.
Disclaimer: I don't own it, never did and never will.
The Secret of the Chamber of Secrets
September 1st
Dear Diary,
Sounds funny, doesn't it? Me, Ginny Weasley, writing in a diary again. The idea is almost laughable if you know what had happened to me in my first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the beginning of the year, I got possessed by a diary that looked very much like this one. I poured my soul into that book and into Tom Marvolo Riddle, the owner of the old diary. He had enchanted it to contain his essence, a part of his soul, which he slowly transferred into me. And so he forced me to almost kill the other students. Thinking about still brings a cold feeling in the pit of my stomach, but I believe that I'm over it.
That's why I'm starting a new diary. A regular one that DOESN'T write back, a diary that won't judge me or use me the way everyone else does. All summer my parents and my brothers have been watching me closely. Its almost like they don't trust me or expect me to fall apart any second. Now that we're on the train, they go back to ignoring me again. That's why I couldn't write in you until today, the day we go back to Hogwarts. I have this compartment all to myself. It might be a bit lonely but I feel safer by myself than with all my family put together. The only people I still feel comfortable with are my oldest brothers Bill and Charlie. They can always make me feel better.
Collin and his brother just came in. He was the one who gave me this diary in the first place. He said it was going to replace Riddle's diary when I ran out of space in it. Little did he know that no matter how much I wrote in that diary, it would forever be blank. I'll write later.
Love,
Ginny Weasley
