Title: Distraction
Author: Nopporn Wongrassamee aka The Evil Author
Summary: It's the Return of the King with special guest star...
Author's note: Okay, normally I despise "Insertion fic" (ie, fanfic where crossover characters are inserted into someone else's fiction and do nothing to affect the overall plot), but I just finally saw the last LoTR movie on DVD and had to write this.
Disclaimer: The characters and settings belong to whoever owns them. I'm just too lazy to look up who they are.
"So," Buffy said, eyeing the overwhelming tide of orcs and trolls bearing down on them, "we just gotta distract these guys so this Freud-O guy can get past them, get to the volcano, and destroy some bad mojo ring?"
"His name is Frodo," Aragorn corrected. "And yes, that is the idea."
"Okay." Buffy eyed the horde as it surrounded them. "Can I make one teensy little addition to the plan?"
"What would that be, Lady Buffy?"
Buffy leveled her Scythe at the nearest orc. "We kill 'em all," Buffy told him with an impish grin. "That ought to distract them."
