Don't know where the idea came from...

Lavender Rain
---
.
.
.
I sat perched in my tree – the Goshinboku.
Once again, I was pondering the ways of life...why it was this way...
Why it worked with fate...
To create cruel, cruel destinies...
For instance, like Kikyo and mine.
Droplets of rain began to fall, until it began pouring.
I was hardly aware of it. I was lost in the memories shared between me and Kikyo.
...Until she came out...
I picked up her scent. Her scent of lavender and cherry blossoms.
Kagome's scent.
I looked down, but didn't want her to know I was there. What was she doing, out in the rain?
Was she looking for me?
...It didn't seem like it. Instead of calling out my name, she began twirling around.
She stretched her arms out. While she spun, her hair fanned out. Her raven locks glittered with raindrops, until they sank into her hair and dampened it.
Her clothing began to get soaked, but she remained outside.
Dancing in the rain.
I couldn't describe the feelings I felt. Seeing Kagome made me feel...
...warm...
...wanted...
...happy...
Yes, I felt like that around Kagome.
Only around Kagome.
...but, I guess that wasn't completely true.
Kikyo wanted me.
...But then, why did she always blow me off when she had to go to the village?
Well, Kikyo made me feel warm.
...but she herself was so emotionless...
Then, Kikyo made me feel happy.
...but I felt like something was missing when I was around. Something was still missing.
But now...
Around Kagome...
I felt...whole.
I watched in awe as she twirled around. Her eyes glittered with life and joy. Her laughter sounded like the chiming of bells...
I watched with awe...
I watched with amusement...
I watched with joy...
I watched with...love.
Yes, I love Kagome.
You can't run from the obvious...you can't run from what's already there....
And when love has its hold on you, you can't escape.
And I don't want to either.
It's among this lavender rain that I found true love.
With Kagome.

-Sigh-.
Don't ask; I don't know where it came from. It's just...sudden, ok? I get bits of inspiration, from here and there, and stick them all together to create...!:
A fanfic.
However, I couldn't really...find any story that this would fit in. So, the idea is lonely. Yeah, I see you people laughing at me...v.v
