AN: As Dee is injured Flash Back

Falling: Part 1

"It hurts when I land, please don't let me fall." The thought ran through Dee's mind as the bullets hit his stomach and the knives hit his arms. The only fear he had: To fall and not be caught. Ryo thought that he would never let that happen, but it did.

The clouds floated in the almost black sky. Dee's honey eyes stared at them until the door opened when he twisted his neck to see who it was. Instantly, his eyes gleamed and focused on the blonde named Ryo.

"Dee," He spoke, his eyes tearing, "I am sorry. I wasn't there for you." Dee's injuries were awful. Two bullets hit him in both of his legs and he was stabbed a good five times. Ryo was sorrowful for not being there for his partner. Dee coughed and flipped onto his side so that he could see his partner better.

"Don't fret, I'm used to you screwing up. You'll make it up." Dee smiled at Ryo as he stepped up to Dee's hospital bed.

"Of course I will." Ryo sunk into the chair next to Dee's bed and sighed. Dee put his body weight onto his good arm and brought his neck out to kiss Ryo lightly on the cheek so that he wouldn't be so worried. He put his lips on the blonde's face. Instantly, he responded with a crimson blush. "Dee," Dee closed his eyes and fell asleep, thinking about earlier that day...

Murder

A pool of deep crimson drowned the third floor apartment five this October twenty eighth. This happened only two rooms away from Dee's quiet room. The gunfire awoke the dipsy cop.

"What was that?" He snapped up in his bed like the arising of the dead. Dee looked at the closest wall. He fell off of his queen-sized bed onto the floor, getting up with fierce motion though. Continuing, Dee got into his pajama bottoms, exited his room into the living room and left the apartment. Dee went over to the room and slipped his hand onto the doorknob. It was unlocked. The officer kept a Magnum 45 in his pajama pants. He pulled it out and opened the door.

"WHO ARE YOU!" A figure stood over the woman who lived in the apartment. She was lying out cold on the floor, drenched in blood. The figure held a pistol in his hand. It put its finger on the trigger and aimed at Dee as another figure slipped into the room behind Dee. This one stabbed Dee several times and the other shot at him.

"It hurts when I land, please don't let me fall." The thought ran through Dee's mind as the bullets hit his stomach and the knives hit his arms.
