[[Chapter 1]] - Best of Friends

"Hey Hiiragizawa! Wait up!" Tomoyo yelled out as she spotted Eriol walking around the corner to school.

At hearing his name being called, Eriol turned around, knowing all too well who the voice belonged to.

"Why the angel from heaven has decided to grace me with her presence once again" Eriol casually said as he bowed in front of her.

Tomoyo smiled. "Your quite the charmer aren't you Eriol, no wonder there are so many girls after you." Eriol smirked.

"Well, its not like I asked for it, and I don't like all the attention anyways, so stop pestering me with these silly remarks your always bringing up every morning."

Tomoyo's smile got even wider. "And if I don't? I trust Mr. Hiiragizawa wouldn't hurt a mere girl such as I would he?"

Eriol's smirk was quickly wiped away and was replaced with a frown. "You know I wouldn't hurt a girl, especially you Tomoyo, so stop taking advantage of me."

Tomoyo winked and flashed Eriol another gorgeous smile, one that would bring the toughest of men to their knees. "But I can't help it, knowing that your such a gentleman, I can't help but make fun."

"Very funny Tomoyo. Well you should talk. You've got your own fan club to deal with." Eriol said, followed with his trademark smile.

"Do I? I haven't noticed. All the boys here are such arrogant jerks, they think they'll get any girl they want just because they're rich and they think they're good looking, which in fact they aren't at all." Tomoyo replied.

"I'm offended, surely you don't think of me like that now do you? I'm your best friend" Eriol said, putting on a fake hurt expression.

"Why of course not Eriol, why ever would you think I would say anything of that sort about you?" Tomoyo said.

"Well you did say all the boys here. Doesn't that count?" Eriol said .

"Well true, but come off it, you know I didn't mean that about you. Just those boys that you said were in my 'so called' fan club" Tomoyo said.

"So then you did mean it" Eriol said.

"What do you mean? I said only those boys in the fan..." Tomoyo was cut off.

"Oh, but I am also one of your admirers" Eriol said with a wide grin. Tomoyo rolled her eyes. "Oh please don't start Eriol, I've had enough."

"Alright, alright, if the majesty requests that I stop, then I shall stop" Eriol said, with another bow.

"Oh put your gentlemen ways away. If there was an actual chance that I liked you, I might have been flattered, but guess what? I'm not. Now let's hurry it up, school is about to start" Tomoyo said hurriedly.

"Whatever you wish princess" Eriol said, giving yet another bow. Tomoyo rolled her eyes and began to sprint towards the school gates.

"Hey! Wait up!" Eriol yelled as he ran after her.
