Prologue:.Seki Ray.:
It was going to be the best year of my life. 7th year, final year! I was Quidditch star, I had great friends, good grades, hell I was even famous. Which, now that I look back, I wish I had never been given the fame. I'd even go so far as to say that...I wish I had never been a wizard; then none of this would have happened.
I'm tired, I'm cold, I'm hungry. I miss my old life. I miss being carefree and I miss...everyone. I miss them.
All this dismal place does is remind me of everyone; and everything that I've lost. I only have the mission left. The hope that after it's completed everything will be ok.
I'm writing this now, for the future. To tell you the truth; to tell you everything. My story, maybe then...people will understand why I've done what I've done. Maybe I'm writing this to say I'm sorry.
This place is so cold. The walls don't seem to defend the wind that has picked up. There was a fire going, but I suppose it's gone out. Just like everything else. I feel like going out. There's so little hope...
But, if it one thing I have learned, it's that no matter how dark things may get there will always be some light. I've found mine in the least expected places.
I hear footsteps.
"Tomorrow."
"I know."
"Get some sleep."
He turns, and starts walking out.
"Sirius?"
"Yes?"
"Is there any hope?"
He looks sad now, "I really don't know. I don't know."
He walked out then. I feel alone, it's only us now. Us against the world, but it's for the best. They just don't know it yet.
I'm not sure if I believe it all yet. What we're fighting for.
I think I should give a name to you. We'll be spending a lot of time together tonight.
