If Itachi can't feel anything, is that good or bad? His teachers all said that it was good to be able to ignore his compassion, but they themselves were compassionate, so he never understood why they said that.
He cut Sasuke once, when the other accidentally ran in the way of his shuriken practice.
It was the most pain Itachi himself ever felt in his life. Still the most he has ever felt. So does hurting others bring pain? Because when he hurts himself he doesn't feel anything.
He wonders, if he kills someone he "loves," will that hurt enough?
