The Problem with adoption!
A few days ago me and my best friend I_Love_NY262 were at the neopet pound.
"OOOOOHHHHHHHH how cute we HHAAVVEE to get this one" She said.
"Come on," I said," We can't get every cute neopet we see. We have to
decide on one we both like." "But it is just so adorable!" That's the problem, I thought. Every single neopet you see is the cutest ever. Then I saw it, it was tiny, blue, and painted baby. It was a baby Bruce. "Now this one we hhhhaaaaavvvvveeeee to get !"I said. "Now you're the one bugging me, well I say no, now let's go!" she said. I took one last look at that Bruce. He was staring at me
like hey where are you going. Aren't you going to adopt me? I almost cried. I came back day after day until I finally got up the courage to say that I wasn't going to share pets with her. I wanted that Bruce, so I got it. I took it home and fed it and right away it was great. I took it on trips, and though I don't share pets with her, I_love_ny and me share an
account. One day I had just taken QT308 (that was my Bruce's name) out when she said, " so how was your day."? " Oh it was fantastic we went to faerie land." I said. " You have spent almost all of our money on this pet of yours so me and my pets have been eating from the soup kitchen while you
spend our last bits of money. We might have to give up the house if we
can't pay the bills. That Bruce has to go. Or you need to manage our money better, and for goodness sakes, get your head out of the clouds, we live on a little place called neopia while you and that Bruce are off in
space." she said. I thought to myself, oh no, what have I done. " I'm
sorry." I said. " It goes back to the pound tomorrow." The next day I paid that evil looking Techo and left my favorite pet in a cold metal cage.
"I'll come back for you," I said," I promise."

Epilogue: I never forgot that adorable Bruce but when I went back with
enough money to support it, it was gone. I hope it is in a better home
than I could give it. Whoever adopted it, thank you.
