Storage Space

By: Nagi

Pairing: Kyo/Yuki

Rating: PG

Notes: Spoilers, oneshot, major fangirl bashing. Nothing really against fangirls (hell, I'm one of them) but fangirls in mass amounts can be quite frightening no da. I also don't really know what would actually happen if Yuki's lungs started to act up and such, so I'm guessing here. ^_^;;; I've also decided to not continue my Black and White' fic. I like where it ended and I can't come up with more right now so that's where it ends everybody no da! ^-^

"Damn, those fangirls run fast!"

Kyo slammed the door to the storage closet just in time as the herd of fangirls* ran past it and continued down the hallway in a squealing mass. He leaned against the door to catch his breath. Yuki bent over doing the same. Just a little earlier, the two had been about to enter their classroom when Yuki's fanclub had caught sight of them. Seeing the two bishonen together in one place appeared too much of a temptation for their fragile resolves. The obsessive teenagers pounced (not literally) on the boys like vultures on a piece of carrion. Realizing what a problem it would be if they were glomped by women who knew nothing of their curse, Yuki and Kyo had fled with great speed away from the hormone crazed jyoushikosei. They had run through two floors trying to escape the determined females and ended up hiding in the storage closet.

Kyo gulped in breath after breath, still panting from running at such a high speed. Who knew that girls could run so fast? Surreptitiously, Kyo glanced at Yuki to make sure he was okay. After all, fangirls had a tendency to get vicious if they actually reached their target.

Kyo couldn't see any visible injuries on Yuki, but he was still breathing rather heavily. Becoming a little worried at the kuso nezumi's seeming inability to breath properly, Kyo straightened up at turned toward his cousin. Yuki had his hand on the wall to keep himself upright and was clutching his chest with his other hand.

Uh-oh. That was definitely a bad sign. Kyo knew that Yuki had rather week lungs, as he had suffered from bronchitis as a child, but he wasn't sure what he could do to help him.

"Uh... Yuki? A-are you okay?"

"Urusai... baka neko..."

The insult seemed to lack it's usual harsh tone. Yuki was still breathing hard.

"Maybe you should sit down or something. You don't look too good," Kyo stepped over to Yuki and reached out to help him. Normally, the mouse would have resisted any aid given but the cat (not that he would give it usually), but as Kyo grabbed his arm and maneuvered him to sit on the ground, Yuki just went limply along with the assistance.

Kyo sat down with Yuki and leaned against the closed door. Having Yuki this weak was definitely a bad sign. He seemed tired enough to fall asleep right there against the door. In fact, he seemed to be tilting slightly. Toward the alarmed cat.

Kyo had to keep himself from jumping as Yuki leaned against his shoulder.

"N-n-nani??? W-w-what are you doing, kuso nezumi?!?" Kyo asked.

"...tired... be quiet.....baka neko...."

Blushing to high heaven, Kyo put an arm around Yuki to hold him up. Not that he didn't like having Yuki against him, but it was a big change from the attitude he was used to getting from the mouse.

/But at least,/ Kyo mused, /he trusts me enough to let his guard down and sleep around me./

Smiling a little, Kyo settled down against the storage closet door again to sleep like his companion.
