Regarding the servant Status, though the character already revealed it, the servant status will remain unnamed until the reveal in the main time line.

Divergence, the point where two things split off from each other.

Decisions made, paths taken and mediums that stimulate change.

Fuyuki City

"HELP ME!"

"DON'T LEAVE US!"

In the midst of a flaming inferno, a child walks aimlessly in the debris of the once flourishing city. Ignoring all the wail and plead for help he hears.

I need to get out of here

The child thought as he continued walking over building debris and dead bodies while supporting his aching body.

I… I

"Uwaaaaah!"

In the middle of the night, inside a traditional Japanese house, a teen with red messy hair, medium height and firm built wakes from a familiar and recurring nightmare.

"…that dream again..." the teen named Shirou Emiya pants as he raised his body and cover his eyes with his right palm, trying to erase the image from his mind.

Looking around, Shirou found himself inside his shed, surrounded with pipes, kettles and gears he made and looking down to his body, he saw his clothes covered in dirt.

"Better clean up or I'll never hear the end of it from Fuji-nee..."Shirou stands up while stretching his arms

From there, he quickly clean his shed and went to take a quick rinse before going to his room to sleep once more.

Yet sleeps allude Shirou.

The guilt he has resurface again as he is being reminded of that nightmarish experience and how he ignored the plea for help of the other victims from the city wide explosion.

He twist and turn for hours on his bed until once again, he fall asleep . This time around, his dream is when his body just gave up from exhaustion and how a single man save him from the brink of death.

The delight and relief of his savior was etched to the core if his being to the point that he wants to be like that man, Kiritsugu Emiya. His deceased adopted father and the one that inspired him to be a hero of justice.

"Hmmm... eeek!"

Waking up on a somewhat bitter sweet dream, Shirou shrieks like a little girl that was just thrown into a tiger's den. Scratch that. He woke up in his room with the Tiger glaring at him. Ready to strike.

"Good morning, Shirou,"

His female guardian with short orange hair, medium height and wears a green dress greeted him with an aura of from her whole body while her hands is holding a sinister looking shinai ready to strike.

"Morning Fuji-nee," Shirou fretted back nonchalantly which earn him a shinai to the head.

Few minutes later, in the Dining area

"Seriously, Shirou," Taiga grumbled as she chow down the breakfast that was left behind by Sakura Matou, Shirou's violet haired kohai that visited him from time to time. Normally she would wake him and dine with them but today, because of their club's morning practice, she left early after making their breakfast. She also tried waking him up but failed.

"I know Fuji-nee, I swear it won't happen again." Shirou replied as he apologize one more across the dining table.

"You say that but if Sakura or I aren't here, you'll always wake up late."

"Not always," Shirou rebutted. "Every now and then."

"Your now and then is four out of five you idiot!"

While his guardian is like a rabid and hungry wolf that chows down on their food, Shirou gently eats his food with utmost appreciation from the one that made the meal.

"You better wake up early tomorrow or we're leaving you behind."

"Ahahaha...Speaking of being late," Shirou replied with a dry laughter. "Don't you need to go to school early today?"

"Oh crap!"

Taiga looked at her watch and quickly devours her meal more furiously than before

"Thank you for the food,"

She give thanks before taking a quick dash off the house.

The next day, Shirou woke up early as promised. Cook their breakfast and prepares his bento for the school trip.

Their destination is a museum holding an exhibit in Tokyo.

The museum are separated by hall from each region like Asia, Europe, middle East, America and Russia holding portraits, relics and replicas from around the world. The collection in the museum are vast from their very own Shinsengumi garb said to have worn by the famed Okita Souji, replica of the first bulb ever created, one of the paintings of da Vinci, 1:1 scale replica of all roman emperor statues including the notorious roman emperor that once burned Rome and was considered to be so evil that they remove his face, a page of the dead sea scrolls, original manuscript of the little mermaid, sutras said to be based on the sutras Xuanzang Sanzang brought from the west, miniature hanging garden, tools from the known Fuma ninjas,a sword said to have been used by Georgios to slay a wicked dragon, the sail of the Argonaut and many more.

As of all the items in the exhibit, the hall where the golden sword Excalibur planted in a rock stood out. Not just from its elegant design but because they are allowed to try and draw the legendary sword. Because of this, a huge line was form students of all level and even some teachers, mainly his guardian.

"That's quite a long line, huh,"Shirou said as he look in amazement of the attention a single sword gathers.

"Well, can you blame them?" a teen with dark blue hair and wears an eyeglass replied. "Who would pass an opportunity to be Britain's king?"

"I guess so," Shirou scratched his cheek followed by a dry laughter.

"But something is wrong here,"

"What do you mean by that, Issei?"

"Emiya, in the Arthurian legend," Issei began as he lay his hands on Shirou's shoulder. "The sword in the rock is called Caliburn. Excalibur was the sword given to King Arthur by the lady of the lake."

"But some movies portray them as one," Shirou replied. "I guess they base it there. "

"I guess so," Issei replied as he adjusted his eye glass. "So wanna try it as well?"

-F/D-

- Fall in line to draw the sword.

- Go to a different hall exhibit.

-F/D-

"It's a rare opportunity so why not," Shirou replied as they slowly fell in line as well.

It took Shirou and Issei an hour before they were given the opportunity to draw the blade.

That sword...

Shirou thought as he sees Issei try with all his might but fail to lift the sword.

"Though luck," Shirou said to Issei with a chuckle.

"Laugh all you want," Issei replied with a smirk. "It's your turn to make a fool of your self anyway."

"I guess so,"

Well no point in trying hard so I might as well try draw it with a cool pose.

As he walks forward, he contemplate on how he would do it but now that he is within grasp of the said sword, he can't help but stare with nostalgia at the sword.

It's like its calling me.

"Oi Emiya, stop daydreaming and pull it already,"

As he stood still on the stage where the replica is, he was called by one of his classmates with blue seaweed like hair.

"Yare yare..."

With a firm grasp, Shirou closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and draws the sword using his right hand and raise it to the air.

"Ooooooohhhh!" the crowed let out an amazed sound.

Opening his eyes, expecting him to be another face on the plethora of participants, he saw the sword in his hands as confetti fell from the ceiling.

With the crowed clamoring, and a certain seaweed is trying to make a scene out of it, the curator walks next to Shirou and explain to them the mechanics of the rock. That it was design to be sturdy after a significant number of participants to replicate the Legend of King Arthur. From here on forward, anyone can pull the sword but there will be no more special effects.

"Man, if I knew that, I should have let you go first," Issei grumbles to Shirou as they left the hall that gathers more participants to fall in line.

"Hahaha," Shirou chuckle dryly. "Well you insist to go first so tough luck,"

After their time in the museum, they went to the Tokyo tower before stopping at a souvenir shop as their last stop before returning back to Fuyuki.

Around the same time in Europe

A tall woman with short purple hair and wears a business suit boards a plane bound to Japan

Miyama Town, night

With their school trip over, it is once again another normal period for Shirou that is until he encountered a strange kid a few days later on his way home after escorting Sakura to her house in the foreign district.

In an intersection past the shopping district, Shirou met a foreign kid that speak to him in fluent Japanese just as she walks pass him.

"You better summon yours already onii-chan." The girl said. "If you want to live that is."

"Wait what?" it took a few seconds before Shirou respond and the kid already left.

Looking back at the direction of where the girl went, he saw her being assisted by two maids as she enters a European car. The busty maid in white bowed to him before entering the driver seat while the slender maid glare at him for some reason before entering the vehicle as well.

Just what was that?

"Summon? Is she referring to a video game?"

Shirou scratches his head as he try to make sense of what the girl said before dropping the subject all together as he continue walking back home.

"Is she one of those chuni something?"

The next day at Copenhagen,

Even if his old man left Shirou all of his inheritance, Shirou decided to not use that money and started working part time. Lucky for him, Master, the owner of Copenhagen, a tall man in his forties, with brown hair and mustache and wears a bartender clothing and is somewhat acquainted to Kiritsugu, Shirou's adopted father, took him in as hired help. Since then, he has been working for them for five years already.

"Hmmm?"

As Shirou is cleaning one of the tables of the bar he works part time, he saw an earring lying on the floor.

"Master, I found this at the floor from the table near the window," Shirou said as he approach the shop owner.

"Oh dear… do you remember what the customer looks like?"

*shakes*

Shirou shakes his head as he was busy with washing the dishes earlier to hardly notice the customers in the pub.

"Neko," the shop owner called.

"Hai~"

Otoko Hotaruzuka, most commonly known as Neko is woman with long brown hair a fair build and the same age as Taiga came out of the kitchen. "Did you call for me, dad?"

"Do you remember the customer sitting by the window?"

"Hmmmm… the last one that sat there if I remember correctly was a silver haired foreigner."

"Anything else?"

"Her outfit resembles Father Kotomine's garb."

"Odd… I don't remember the church having a nun."

"A visitor perhaps?" Neko reply back, tilting her head.

"In that case I'll put it in the lost and found box," Shirou closes his hand with the earring as he walks into the counter.

"Emiyan, I think its best to keep that earring to you self," Neko said, albeit hesitant as she look at the pub owner.

"Why is that?" Shirou asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, Neko and I will be visiting a relative for a while," Master explained. "I was planning to tell you this after your shift but we will close the shop for the time being."

"The shop will be empty. That is why you better keep it for the time being for safe keeping."Neko added.

-F/D-

- Keep the earring

- Insist to leave it at the lost and found box

-F/D-

"Very well, I'll keep it for the time being, but Master-"

"If its about work, I already think of an alternative for it." Master quickly replied seeing Shirou's concerned look.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I ask the owner of Ahnenerbe if he is willing to temporary hire you."

"Ahnenerbe?" Shirou ask tilting his head. He lived in Fuyuki yet this is the first time he heard of this shop name.

"Yup, it's a café near the riverside park." Neko added.

"The only issue here is that they can't pay you with the same salary that we pay you here," Master continue. "If that is alright with you."

"Sure, I don't mind," Shirou replied with a sigh of relief as he put the accessory to his pocket before going back to his work.

Residential area, Foreign district,

At the same time when Shirou is still working at Copenhagen, A certain twin tailed teen panics as she over sleep.

"Of all time to oversleep!" the teen yelled as she quickly leave her room.

Miyama shopping district

A few hours later, just as Shirou is on his way home from Copenhagen, Shirou stop at a nearby vending machine for a drink.

"Ahnenerbe huh?"Shirou muttered beneath his breath, recalling his discussion with Master as he open the can of soda and leans to the vending machine.

Is that a newly establish shop? Or located in a secluded location that only patrons of the cafe knows.

-F/D-

- Try looking for the café

- Go straight home and rest

-F/D-

"I'm already outside so I might as well take a quick look," Shirou crushed the now empty can and shoots it to a nearby trash bin before taking a different path heading to the riverside.

As he walks slowly to his destination, he recall past incident starting from their field trip to some weird things that happen since then. From meeting the odd kid to the mark that appeared on the back of his right hand.

Is this the side effect of using projection?

Shirou thought. Though he barely noticed it until Sakura points it out, he didn't remember wounding his hand when the mark appeared and this makes him wonder if this is connected to his use of magecraft. Because his knowledge of it is incomplete due to his old man refusing to teach him properly and he also doesn't know any magus aside from his adapted father to ask, he opted to minimize using magecraft outside of helping Issei by stopping his night training to see if the mark would gradually disappear. A few days since and there is still no change outside of waking early that frightened Taiga.

Just as he continue to ponder the mark on his hand-

"Hey, have you seen that weird chick near the harbor?"

Shirou stops on his track after over hearing two teens talk.

"Oh that, yeah," a chubby teen with eye glass replied. "Ignoring those huge melons, she is wearing some weird outfit. Might be a cosplayer."

"Cosplay?" the other teen asked as he recall the look of the weird female. "I don't remember a female character in anime with four swords.

"Same here, I don't recall that in games as well," the chubby one replied. "An original design that is an exaggeration of Zoro perhaps."

"Who knows,"

-F/D-

- Ignore and go look for Ahnenerbe

- Go take a quick look

- Go back home

-F/D-

*sigh*

"I better go back,"

With a heavy sigh, Shirou decided to take a quick turn back just as the red bridge is in sight."I can look for Ahnenerbe next time."

Besides, I have more than enough oddities for a lifetime.

Fuyuki harbor,

at the same time, a woman wearing a kimono like outfit with pink hair and four katana on her waist sat at the edge of the port, enjoying the night breeze and humming joyfully as the wind blew her hair. Before long, the very said female disappear then and there in a blink of the eye.

For the most part, Shirou live a relatively normal life. Minus the magecraft he learned from his adopted father, his life is as normal as they can be. Little does he realize that those weird things that happened recently are just the tip of the iceberg.

Waking early now that he temporary stop his training at night since the appearance of the mark, he eats breakfast with Sakura and Taiga, washed the dishes before going to school, helping Issei fix school equipment or anyone in his free time, study their lectures and work at Copenhagen before they temporary close.

Nothing out of the ordinary, just his regular routine until he receive a request from his 'friend' Shinji Matou, Sakura's older brother and his classmate.

Normally, Shinji berates him for helping the archery club he left a long time ago but now he is asking him a favour

-F/D-

- Help clean the Archery Dojo

- Decline and make excuses.

-F/D-

"After I am finished with Issei, I'll go there," Shirou replied earnestly.

"I knew I can count on you, Emiya," Shinji snort before leaving with his company. "We can go now. The sucker will do the work for me. Ahahahaha." he added knowing Shirou can still hear him.

For better or worse, Shirou just sigh and smiled wryly to his 'friend'.

Homurahara school ground, night.

If Shirou is to ask of his main turning point in life, he will immediately point to this event.

After finishing some choirs for the archery club, Shirou's life drastically change after witnessing the clash of blue and red as he pass the school grounds. A blue haired man in blue tight suit wielding a sinister red lance and a white haired man in red outfit holding two identical short swords fighting it out in their school grounds. The fight rage on as the spear-man swiftly dash, trust and strike while the white haired dual wielder evades and blocks the attack while continue to recreate the very same sword he wields after the blue spear-man destroys them.

For some reason the way the red swordsman make its weapon is similar to Shirou's experiments back in the storage room.

*clang*

*zoom*

*bam*

I better get out of here.

Shirou thought. With how the fight slowly intensify, he slowly walks back only to step on a twig.

"Who's there?" The blue spear-man asked.

Even with the noise of metal crashing, the twig breaking was loud enough to garner their attention as the fight came to a halt and the blue spear-man in blue tights look at Shirou's way.

Not good!

-F/D-

- flee inside the school building.

- flee outside of the school.

-F/D-

Instinct of impending doom far greater than the time with Taiga made Shirou flee as fast as he could inside the school building up to the third floor of all things.

"Huff...gasp...wheeze..." Shirou gasp for air after running with all his take a look at his back to see if the dangerous persons are there.

Am I safe now?

Shirou though as he wipes the cold sweat on his forehead.

"Hey, you run pretty fast but you can't escape a servant that easily."

Only for his brief relief to be shattered from a voice coming from his back.

Shirou paused as he felt chills run through his spine and look around slowly to see the blue man seating on a nearby open window.

Eh? But how did it… this is the third floor!

With the dangerous person in front of him, his survival instinct kicks in.

I need to flee!

Seeing that he is not holding his red spear, he uses the little opportunity he had to run away once more but alas! His last remaining luck runs out.

*swoosh*

In a split second, the person catches up to him in a blink of an eye. He re-appear a few feet from him with the very same red spear made that came out of nowhere.

"Nothing personal but you saw us, so you must die." The man said as he skewer him with his red spear."You were just unlucky kid."

"Ack-" Shirou cough up blood as he struggle with few weak movements before everything fade to black while looking at the back of his killer.

How can I be careless?!

Rin Tohsaka, a woman 16 of age with a black wavy hairstyle, wearing a twin tail using two black ribbons, a slender body lacking any remarkable chest-

"What did you just said?"

And her trademark red coat, contemplates on the event that had happen thus far.

"Archer, have you found Lancer already?"

"They are at the third floor,"

Please let me make it in time… damn it! I'm a failure as a master.

Rin though as an image of her caretaker appear to mock her incompetence.

"Is that the best you can do, Rin?" the imaginary man said in a mocking tone that in turn infuriate Rin further.

Damn it!

Just as she reach her destination, Rin pants as she hold on to her legs for support and sees Archer blocking her path.

"Archer?" Rin asked only for Archer to step aside, Rin walks closer to see and have a realization of her life.

"No… nononono! Why does it have to be you?" the moment Rin identify the victim, she cried as she slump to the floor beside a certain carcas.

Looking at the unfortunate bystander who is now soaked with his own blood, lying on his chest where he has been stabbed, Rin curse her own helplessness.

This is not part of the plan. Why does it have to be you of all the idiot out there?

"Eh?"

Turning him up, and gently touching the stab wounds on his chest, she noticed that his heart is still breathing, albeit weakly.

"He's still alive!"Rin exclaim not noticing the look his servant is giving to the victim.

It's such a waste but I have to do this.

Taking the gem in her left pocket, the one that she used to summon Archer, she placed it on his chest. and starts chanting, using the remaining mana of the gem.

A few minutes later,

"Ack!"

The moment Shirou regain consciousness, his initiate response was to jolt back up and touch his chest where he just got stabbed only to find it fully healed up and found a red gem laying beside him.

"A dream? no but how am I still…" he mutters as he look at the pool of blood that gives the vibe of a crime scene.

"Better clean this up first," Shirou said in monotone. "Otherwise they would think that someone was killed here... scratch that someone was killed here..."

A while back, just as Shirou witness two superhuman fought, a man in his mid thirties arrived at Fuyuki City riding a limo. Next to him is a person clad in armor from head to toe.

"So this is the city where father participated before," the person said with voice full of confidence and anticipation. "This war is good as won with me by your side master."

"Do not be over confident, Mordred." The man replied. "Based on Lord El Meloi's statements the participants of the last war include Iskandar, Diarmund, Lancelot. If we do not know of the enemies identity, it is better to not let our guard down"

"Yet he still won," Mordered replied as a matter of fact. "Anything he can do, I can do better, Just watch me."

Somewhere in Fuyuki residential area, night

"Hmm?"

After disposing of the interloper and leaving a bad taste in his mouth, the blue man now roams Fuyuki, continuing his search once more for other opponents to fight.

"What the...?" the man stopped at one of the residential rooftop when he saw someone that should be dead by now. Said individual has red hair with blood stained shirt.

"Is this a joke?" He asked as he pinched his cheeks just to be sure he didn't fall to someone's illusion.

"DAMN!" he cursed as the pain receive confirm that the person he killed survive so the best he did in this situation is to stalk his previous prey until the young lad enters an old Japanese estate.

"C'mon now, my image as a heroic spirit would be tarnish by this." scratching the back of his head, he locks his sight to his target with an irritated look.

This is definitely not my day…

The man grumble as he recall the bad things he has in this war. From his 'master' to the earlier servant that he fought and now this.

Emiya residence.

"Just what was that?

Shirou sank into the sofa of the living room remembering and making sense of the event that just happened.

This is far too crazy even for a dream. Did a truck hit me and I am now living in the bizarre counter part of my world?

As he was deep in thought until the sound of the house's boundary field rang.

"Who could be it this late at night? Fuji-nee? Sakura?"

-F/D-

- Take a look

- Hide

- Get a weapon

-F/D-

"No... Damn it!"

Shirou's danger sense is telling him not to go look and hide but where will he hide? He'll be a sitting duck if he cowers in some corner of the house so he took the closest possible weapon he could use as the situation turns from bad to worse when he hears the same voice he heard earlier.

"Trace on, basic quality analyze."

Shirou applied magecraft to reinforced the poster Taiga Gave him last year as a Christmas present. Changing its sturdiness to that of a baseball bat hoping this is enough.

*swoosh*

the door of his room slides open.

"I never thought I'd kill you twice in the same in a day." The familiar man said with an irritated look..

*tsk*

Shirou click his tongue as his worst fear had been realized

-F/D-

- Flee

- Fight

- Beg for mercy

-F/D-

Shirou can only curse his luck and like the cornered mouse that he is, he charge and swings his bat to the blue spear-man only for it to be parried effortlessly.

"Ho? A magus without a servant, huh?"

The man muses after blocking reinforced poster

Servant?

*thud*

*swoosh*

He round kicks the soon to be dead magus on his stomach followed by a slash from his spear which the victim manages to evade.

The fight or should we say game of cat and mouse continues until the Shirou is cornered in the estate's storage room.

"Give it up kid," the blue man said seriously. "There's no way a normal human like you can fight a servant."

"Considering you are also a magus, I better end it for you before you summon your own servant."

Servant? Summon? What is he talking about?

Shirou asked himself once more. This is the second time he heard the word summon. If the kid back then is telling him of this present, then it is no laughing matter as right now, after a few struggle against his assailant, he's at the other end of the storage while this weird spear-man or servant is blocking his exit, with wrench in hand, he weighted his options carefully.

-F/D-

-Attack

-Beg for mercy

-Throw something to distract him

-F/D-

"Your eyes tell me that you're still willing to fight." The blue servant sigh. "Very well I'll give you a proper end for a foolish brave man like you. C'mon." he raised his right arm, shifted his body and taunt him to attack.

Here goes nothing.

-F/D-

- Throw the pendant

- Throw the earring

-F/D-

Shirou took the earring in his left pocket that he always carry in case he met the silver haired foreigner and throws it to the servant in front

"Eh?" The man was baffled for this pointless display until he recognize the earring thrown to him

Seriously though, Shirou didn't actually expect for it to have an effect.

It's sink or swim at this point.

Clinging on that small glimpse of hope, Shirou used the man's delay and swings his wrench only to be head butted by a clearly pissed spear-man.

"YOU!"

"Ack!"

*BAM* the man countered his strike and deliver a powerful headbut.

Shirou staggers backward by the force of the head-butts before having his arm slashed and his body to be forcefully pushed in to the wall.

With the tip of the spear touching the floor, not noticing that they are inside the magic circle of the shed. He look at the magus with eyes mad with fury.

"WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?!"

"Geh-"

Shirou grunts as he cling to the man's arm, struggling to breathe.

"WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?!" The man asked once more.

While Shirou continues to struggle, a drop of his blood fell and the magic circle they are standing in glow with a blinding red light that lit the dark room

*swoosh*

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me!" the blue spear-man dodge the strike aimed at him and exclaim after identifying the one that attacked. "You?!"

With a few more strikes, the blue servant was forced to withdraw out of the storage as Shirou slumped onto the floor, slowly opened his eyes to see the person who save his life only to be mesmerized by the woman in front of him.

She has long purple hair partially covered by a gray veil, tall slender body with the right curves at the right place, wearing a black v-neck, loose sleeves European tunic where the upper part is fit notably emphasizing her well endowed chest and curves, an ankle long skirt that split open from the thigh with transparent silk clothing revealing her black stockings and a black high heel shoes. Her clothes have golden runes embroidery on the chest, wrist, hips and down to the edge of her long flowing skirt. Her head, shoulders, neck and wrist are adorned with golden accessories and she wields a staff as tall as her.

Truly a beautiful woman that can catch the attention of any men yet what captivate him most is her red eyes that reflects a strong will and deep sorrow.

*doki*

As he continue staring at the female stranger, she lower her staff and look at the him in the eyes and ask

"Boy, are you my master?"

Aaaaaaaannnd cut!

New notes:

Due to certain mishap that was mentioned in Ai Hayasaka wants to seduce c9 author's note (shameless plug in), the draft for the new chapter of the series was deleted. And unlike Danmachi Emerald (shameless plug in) I was not able to recover form it and had a block since so I am rebooting the series and expanded some part that I skipped originally.

Old notes (modified)

As events of Zero are canonical, in this grail war, under normal circumstances, Shirou is likely to summon variation of Arthuria (minus the joke versions, santa, swimsuit and heroine x) for the Saber and Lancer class. Rider class also possible considering Arthuria Lancer rides a horse and they have B rank Riding skill.

For the Caster Class, as Castoria is a thing now, if she is not a joke character then under normal circumstances ,she is a viable summon along with Morgan le Fay as the grail is corrupted. Removed Merlin from possible option unlike in original and the Lady of the lake is questionable.

The new Divergence point now present the indication of the branching of routes (makes more sense with the introductory narration) that change the flow of the story to who he summoned. aka VN style.

For this story route, the Saber, Lancer and Rider Class have already been taken for proper Arthuria to appear leaving the caster class as the only open slot.

For any route where Caster = Not Medea, a different master would take the place of Atrum Galliasta and different servant will take Medea's spot. In thisstory, it is Shirou that summoned a caster servant while a difference master replace him as the master of the saber class servant.

next update is Emerald.

"Nah, that must be Fuji-nee," Shirou said as he walks out of his room.

*swoosh*

Opening the door, he looks at his left to see nothing in there but just as he turned the other way around.

"Gotcha!"

Shirou heard a familiar voice and see a spear flying straight to his face. The force of the throw was so strong that it shatter his head then and there.

"To think I'd kill you twice in the same in a day." The familiar man said, walking pass Shirou's corpse, ignoring the fountain of blood and taking out his spear that is stuck at the far end of the house.

"Guess I need to make sure you stay dead," the man said as he stab his body, gauge out his heart and squish it before setting the whole compound ablaze.

Sure it might be overkill but he is familiar to immortals to some degree having known one in his life. The red head magus might not be a dead apostle due to how weak he is but it is possible he posses regeneration to a degree. So the best way to deal with those type is to inflict heavy and fast damage before their regeneration catch up.

"Let's see you came back from that." The man smirks as he stood at top of the pole. With one last look at the old burning compound and the attention it is getting, he jumps off the pole before disappearing in the darkness to the night.
