If you could choose a place to live in the entire multiverse, where would it be?
Many would ask for some outlandish places, like planet Vegeta in Dragon Ball or something along those lines, but I would tell to those with such fanciful thoughts that they should go and check themselves as they must have brain damage.
If it was up to me I would prefer a small city in the middle of nowhere and that nothing much special happens. Live a quiet life, bang some of the local girls until I find one that I actually like, and from there I would simply go on and get married with the one that I fall in love with, and later on die in my sleep with an aneurism that kills me painlessly.
Clean and simple, an uneventful life.
And yet, why?
Why am I in this place?
"Hey, you are going to be late. Let's go." My *shivers* cousin said as he pulled me along into Kuoh academy.
Yes, Kuoh academy, as in the one in Kuoh city that is in the thrice damned world of DxD.
A world that has Gods, Angels, Devils, Yokais, Heroes, and all sorts of other supernatural beings all over the place.
And, to make sure that shit fully hit the fan, I was reincarnated as the cousin of one Issei Hyodou, the Red Dragon Emperor mostly known as the Breast Dragon Emperor.
Just thinking of this title is enough to make me want to forget I even know his sorry ass.
And I would have done just that, trust me I would, however there are three things worth note on my sittuation. First is that I know for a fact that this world is in the path of destruction if nothing is changed and the chance that the entire world (which includes me) is gonna be deleted from existence is far higher than I would have liked.
I want to live a long, prosperous life thank you very much. I have zero intentions of dying any time soon, and if I just let events go as they did in CANON there exists a chance that everything will work out, sure, but I don't want to put my hopes for survival on the hands of a boy who spends half his time using one of said hands to practice a singular type of movements, up and down, up and down.
So, yeah not a great plan.
The second reason as to why I decided I even wanted to stay in this city instead of going somewhere else is for the protection. As someone from Issei's family there is every possible chance that his future enemies would aim for me and if I am not in this place I would likely not have any form of protection against kidnapping or whatever else.
And third, well, I didn't come here with EXACTLY nothing.
You see, before reincarnating in this place I was a game designer.
I vaguely remembers that I was working on the developing project for a ripoff game from one of the greatest animation series out there, "One Piece,". Because we were just a small-time company, it was really important to finish it as fast as possible so as to not be caught by copyrights until it was too late and we had sold the game out. After that, when the copyrights showed up, we would simply change the name of the company and start all over again, it was a troublesome process but we were doing it for some quick buck and because we loved the show, so we had to put multiple all nighters and I myself worked until exhaustion on the game.
When it was completed and we launched it to the public I finally went to bed with a happy smile, knowing I had completed my job.
Next thing I know I was eight years old and changing homes to live with my uncle and aunt as my parents died in an accident.
I honestly sometimes wonder if I just went into a coma from working too much and this is just a very lucid dream.
After all, there is not many other explanations for me having a game system so freaking similar to the one I had helped create in that game that may or may not be the reason for me to have died.

That is the sum of a long time of effort.
And I do mean a lot, and I can't help but sigh at this sum.
The system works similarly to a mix of RPG and a gacha game, like Fate/Grand Order.
At every level up all my stats increase by 2 points and I gain a certain amount of free points I can put in whatever way I feel like it. The free points given in a level up start at 5 points per-level up, but the number of points increase by another five at every 10 levels.
I only put some of my free points in Charisma since it is what increases my Haki amounts and also is one of the factors to increase the training speed of the different Haki as well as the fact that each point in Charisma increases the amount of Haki I have by 10 points. Heck, as the developer I know for a fact that I needed my Charisma to be at least 100 to have my Conqueror's Haki released and I ended up deciding to take it even if now I don't have as many free points as I would have liked.
Now, about the skills, devil fruits, and martial arts one can say that they all depend on the gacha system.
Every week I get one free roll and I can spend 1000 dollars (no kidding, I have to actually use the money) to get one more roll. The resulting items on the roll can enter one of three categories.
- skill card, which can grant or, in case the skill was already obtained, increase the level of a skill. The skill cards also can be accompanied by a number, like cooking + 5 in which I gain five levels on cooking;
- Akuma no Mi, which is decidedly the rarest of them, in which I can obtain the power of up to three Akuma no Mis being one of each type. The good thing is that I can exchange the Akuma no Mi I have 'equipped' once per day, the bad thing is that they are absurdly rare and with Logias being the rarest of them all. It is like getting two 5 star servants in FGO in the same pull, it is 1/1000 if chance, if that;
- And then there is the miscellaneous, which can be things like weapons, ores, haki beads (which can increase my Haki energy), and colectables. One of my rarest items, in fact, is the afro used by Luffy in his fight against Foxxy;
I had to bust my ass off, working like crazy and beating up some of the local minor gangs as well as competing in some of the fighting competitions for both Kendo and martial arts to try and increase my level and train in general. I know that, soon enough, trouble will start showing up in my life and I must be ready to face it when it arrives.
... Sometimes I envy those with Sacred Gears that can get stronger just by wishing hard enough. Hax, I call Hax!
And, if that ALL wasn't enough of a good reason for me to innevitably get involved with the supernatural world, there is one more thing worth noting.
There is one city at half an hour distance of Kuoh, it is called Karakura.

... I swear, if I see Kempachi coming in my direction I will just go and kill myself. I should be doing the world a favor then since it clearly wants me to fucking die already.
Sigh, at least I managed to make some slight changes while younger to some of the people in Karakura. I would be tempted to go study there instead of Kuoh, in all honesty I was very tempted, but both places are equaling troubling and hey, at least here I have someone to do the laundry for me.
Small miracles.
Playing with the small red beaded necklace I had around my neck I smirked, this was one of the things I got from the system and I quite liked this necklace since it is the same one that the Ace from One Piece used. Shame most of what I get as miscelaneous in the system are junk that I can't use, but this is one I have and I think it is a good luck item for me. Entering the school I sense the difference in how some of the people start staring at me intensely as I walk in.
Sigh, while it was necessary for me to have at the absolute least 100 charisma if I wanted to have my Conqueror's Haki released and all that, I sometimes curse my lack of foresight when I did put all those points in Charisma.
After all, I am not sure it was worth it since in exchange I got the bane of my existence in exchange for it.

"So, have you decided which one you intend to approach?" Sona asked as she took a sip of her tea while looking over at Rias who looks conflicted, as usual.
Rias is a beautiful young woman with white skin, blue eyes and a buxom figure that looks like it couldn't possibly be natural. Her most distinctive feature, however, is her long, beautiful crimson hair which she inherited from her father, that reaches down to her thighs with a single hair strand (known in Japan as ahoge) sticking out from the top.
Meanwhile Sona was a young bespectacled woman with a slim figure, black hair styled in a short bob cut and violet eyes. Her eyes had a mesmerizing aspect to it and, while she lacked the sheer explosiveness of Rias' body, she still was one of the most beautiful woman in this entire town.
"... I think I will approach Issei, after all." Rias admitted. "He seems like he would be much easier to manage and I wouldn't need to fear Koneko turning out fat this way."
Sona chuckled at the last comet, knowing exactly how her friend's rook would sometimes follow Ace around like a lost puppy wanting food. After returning to her calm serenity Sona answered back.
"Very well, then I will approach Ace. Honestly speaking I was leaning more on approaching him anyway so it is a win-win for me."
As Sona said that she elegantly took a sip of her tea and Rias pouted, honestly preferring if Sona would not approach Ace since she wanted him too.
Both Rias and Sona are high class devils with peerages and, as such, want to find people to fill in their respective peerages. Rias, in special, needed it urgently since she was going to be facing a considerable challenge soon in the form of Riser and she may have him beat in quality but she only had three usable servants as of right now and a fourth she couldn't even try and use.
She needed numbers, and she needed it fast.
The Hyoudou siblings were perfect for it. First there is Issei Hyoudou who was already extremely driven by his own desires, if this was coupled with devil biology and the fact that he had a sacred gear (she found that out a while ago) then there is a good chance that the final result would be a powerful family member for her. Then there is Ace who, despite not showing an ounce of magic energy, showed that he was extremely competent in combat and had some considerable potential. If he were to become her peerage member then he could perhaps become a great help for her.
This, however, leads to a problem. Just as Rias wanted the two of them, Sona too had some interest in them. She too was trying to complete her peerage and Rias couldn't really blame Sona for wanting it too. As such the two entered an agreement that they would both choose one each and try and recruit the person, if they fail then the other one can try as well.
"Very well, with this set we should move to try it soon." Sona said and Rias nodded, internally however she was having some cold sweat fall down her back, she has never really invited someone to her peerage, the people she invited had pretty much no other choice then to say yes to her, after all.
"So, until I recover my shinigami powers, it will be up to you to do my original work as shinigami." Rukia said to a confused Ichigo. Seeing his confused face she snorted. "Humph, isn't it obvious? Now it is you that has my shinigami powers. You have no rights to refuse, you will do this job whenever you like it or not."
"No." he said easily to her face.
"... What?"
"I had to fight with those weird monsters one too many times." Ichigo told her.
"B-but you only fought with them once!"
"And that was once too many. If you want someone to take care of this go and talk with Ace, he does this kind of thing and he actually likes to do it." Ichigo said easily.
"Ace?" Rukia asked in doubt, wondering if there was another human like Ichigo who could see the supernatural.
"Yeah, he is a friend of mine and live on Kuoh, the neighboring city. I have seen him facing those monsters a few times and he actually likes fighting them, so if you want someone to do this for you then talk with him." Ichigo said before giving Rukia a card.
In it there was the image of a chibi boy with black hair and blue eyes, some freckles on his face and a big grim on his face giving out a thumbs up. In the cards there were the words 'Odd-Jobs Ace, from fixing appliances to beating up monsters, I do everything for the right cash.' And in the end of the words cash there was an emoticon of a face with dollar signs for eyes. On the other side of the card there was the said Ace's number for calling and Rukia honestly was tempted to call if only to see if this 'Ace' fellow really was fighting hollows despite being a human.
Perhaps he could be a Quincy or something, she couldn't say but she was curious all the same about it.
But, for now she had a job to do, the job of making Ichigo do her job for her!
She could go and meet this Ace later. Yep, that was sure to work.
AN:
So, I kinda got this idea in my head for a few days now and I just had to put it down. This is a world of DxD mixed with Bleach. Normally supernatural beings can't see, much less sense, spiritual beings like the Hollows and Shinigamis so no worries there.
I am not fully sure where I will take this story, but I got my inspiration for this from some amazing works like 'Bleach Rebirth of the Guardian' by fanboy913 and 'Stand User in the Marvel Verse' by Wu Mian Qi Liang. Both stories are amazing and I only hope I can make mine be anywhere close to theirs in quality.
Anyway, there is little decided for this story, but consider that while for now the two 'worlds' of DxD and Bleach are very separated they might start to blend and mix together as time passes.
The MC looks like Ace from One Piece BTW, except for not having the tattoo or the hat (can perhaps get it later).
Also, about the system, it may suffer changes as time passes and Ace discovers new things. I would also like suggestions as to what other fruits he could already have in hand (please remember that the stronger the fruit the rarer it is and he has NO Logias, otherwise he would be equipping it already).
Oh, and who should find an interest in him? I mean, normally the Charisma of a normal person is around 20, and the MC already has 100 and it will only increase as his levels increase, so yeah there is that.
And last thing, should the MC obtain a Zampakutou later on or not? If yes, then what type and how would it work?
