15 years have passed and abhijeet still have those dreams. But these visions seemed to be persistent. This one was different. It was something like a dream inside a dream.

"I should stop watching Hollywood movies" He scolded himself.

Abhijeet works as a senior hardware service manager for a multinational company. He preferred spending time with machines rather than people. He had no friends in the office and peaple working there used to think of him as a strange guy. All his co-workers were apprehensive about going to him for any hardware support but as he was best in his work, peaple reluctantly used to go to him. Abhijeet started for his office but his mind was clouded by last night's dream.

"I've to talk to daya" With this, he takes out his phone and messaged him. *Meet me at our usual place, 8pm tonight. I've a new one.*

* Okay. See you in the evening* He received the message back.

Thinking about it, he punched his card, moved towards his cubicle and got busy with his work.

The bar was overcrowded. Abhijeet and Daya were sitting in the corner of the bar. The drinks were kept on the table as they sat quietly. Abhijeet has informed him regarding the dream.

"Listen daya, This is serious. I know the lake. This was the same lake where the police had found her"

Daya was surprised after hearing this "Are you sure Abhi ? How can that be possible ? No one till date visits that place."

"Exactly ! That made the place a safe haven for someone to dispose a dead body."

"So, what do you intend to do, Abhi ? As usual shall we inform our ACP friend ?"

Abhijeet thought for a while and said "let's go there ourselves. I don't know why but I'm getting a feeling that this is not just a murder case"

"Are you sure ? Till date, we have stayed anonymous and helped the police. Why should we risk ourselves this time ?"

"Listen daya, I understand your concern. But this time we have to get involved in this."

Daya works as an IT analyst for a leading media company and prefers slaying demons and zombies in his Xbox console rather than fighting them in real life.

"We should think about it again before going forward."

"I have thought about it and tomorrow we will be visiting that place." With this Abhijeet finishes his drinks and calls for the bill, said "You're paying this time."

Daya stared at him and then payed the bill.

They parked the car infront of the dense forest. They looked around and started to move inside the jungle. The jungle was off-limits to civilians but there was no the guarding it except for the animals.

"We have been here so many times before, but this time we're alone" Daya started but Abhijeet remained silent as he was concentrating on the route.

They moved through thick dense trees, overgrown grasses and hanging vines which looked like snakes hanging all around. They could smell the damp earth combined with old fallen leaves. The earthing Smell had a calming effect. They cut through the vines and made their way towards their destination. After some time, they reached an open area. The aroma of the forest was sweet. The lake was flickering like glitter when the rays of the sun pierced through the dense vegetation and fall upon it. The lake was as silver as diamond flame and the atmosphere was convent quite. The thristles pricking his legs brike his chain of thoughts amd he looked around for any clue. At the other end, Abhijeet saw a swarm of flies flying in an area.

"Daya, over there"

They both ran towards it. They stood at the bank of the lake and looked inside it.

"I've to go inside it" Abhijeet told him.

"Are you mad Abhi ? Let's just infrom the police and get this over with." Daya said in a scolding tone.

"We've been doing it always but this time I feel as if the spirit is requesting me to search for it" saying so, he dived in the lake.

"But Abhi.." Daya tried to make him understand as a concerned friend but he was too late.

Abhijeet went deep inside the lake and looked for any clue which could help him. After some time he came gasping for breath. He was panting when he came out. He sat on the rock and said nothing, which made daya anxious.

"What is it Abhi ? Did you find anything ?

"I Don't know but I felt like there is something beneath the lake. We should talk to our friend in the police."

He got up and moved from there towards their car and daya followed him.
