(Kowalski's POV)

It was the day after our epic battle against Pentron over the fate of the world. Pentron was nothing more than a memory now and we haven't seen any activity from any of our enemies. The Berkians and our friends from the valley of peace were back in their times. Megamind ran off before we could give him the Mind stone for safe keeping. The Eleventh Doctor returned to the TARDIS and adventures in time and space. Strax was back in Victorian England giving Vastra a headache. Nick and Judy were back in Zootopia doing police work. And the North Wind were back helping animals who can't help themselves. Petunia had left to quote "figure things out" since she was no longer a "bad guy".

Skipper was sipping coffee when Marlene came rushing in, "Guys! I just got back from South Korea I finally caught up!" she said, "what's the plan for dealing with Pentron now?"

We all gave her blank stares, "You...uh...already defeated him," Marlene said.

"You keep just missing us Marlene," Skipper said.

"What took you so long?" Private asked.

"The Plane I smuggled myself onto got diverted...something about Manhattan being in the sky!" Marlene said.

"And Traffic coming in here was terrible," Marlene said, "the bus I was on had to go on a slow Staten island ferry because all the bridges were out!"

"And then the ferry had to wait an hour because they were building a temporal dock!" Marlene said.

"Excuses, Excuses, Marlene," Skipper said.

Marlene glared at Skipper and then left in a huff. The Mind Stone was sitting in it's containment box ready to be loaded onto the Super-plane and put in safe hands.

"Skipper," I said, "it's time...The Mind stone is ready for transport and the Super plane repairs are complete!"

"AGAIN!" I muttered to myself.

"I heard that!" Skipper said, "Kowalski fuel up the Super-plane! Rico pack snacks! Private call ahead to Megamind I don't want his security system attacking us again!"

"Now move out!" I said.

12:00 UTC (12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time)

Metro City, USA

(Megamind's POV)

The Penguin's Super-plane was shown on the screen touching down, "There here!" I said.

"Minion!" I said swiveling to face my side kick, "turn off the Security system and open the doors the Penguins have arrived."

With a dramatic swoosh of my cape I got up and walked out, "don't want them going splat."

"Yes sir," Minion said.

"We don't want a repeat of last time..."

LAST TIME

A couple months ago...

The Penguins were jumping around as lasers and missiles flew at them, "MEGAMIND TURN OFF YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM IT'S US!" Skipper shouted.

"Intruders not recognized...destroy! Destroy! Destroy!" The Computer shouted.

"MINION? MEGAMIND? Metro-man? Roxanne? Anybody!" Kowalski screamed as a flamethrower was activated, "HELLO!"

Minion was at the security controls sleeping unaware of the chaos being soon on the security feeds.

Present Day

"Yes Sir," Minion replied with a little resentment.

"Good," I said as I got the hint and quickly rushed out of the room.

The former evil henchmen just sighed.

I rushed out of the hideout (can't really call it a lair anymore) and walked up to the Super-planet...uh...I meant plane. I meant plane! The Penguins hopped out of the plane and waddled towards me. Kowalski exited the plane last lugging a glowing container under his armpit his flipper gripping it tightly. Kowalski had a serious expression on his face as did the rest of them.

"Mega-mind!" Skipper said, "We have a all powerful cosmic object we want you to protect!"

"Me?" I said, "protect an object?"

"Yes," Kowalski said, "an object that must not fall into the wrong hands...unfortunately we aren't the safest Flippers anymore.:

"But me?" I said.

"This is an alien object and since we terrestrials haven't had the best of luck keep it secure," Kowalski said, "who better than an alien to protect it."

"That Logic is terrible," Megamind said.

"Isn't there somebody else you can entrust this too...like The Doctor..."

"The Doctor can't be reliably tracked," Skipper said, "and after dealing with the Key to Time in his fourth life...I think he's done with hidden all powerful objects."

"And you are the only one we trust with this," Kowalski said.

"And trust me my trust is hard to get," Skipper said, "even harder then my respect."

"Uh...thank you?" Megamind said (why am I referring to myself in the third person now? Now that is a cliche)

"It took him a while," Kowalski added.

Kowalski handed me the container revealing that it contains The Mind Stone...an Infinity Stone.

I looked at the Stone and then at Kowalski and the Penguins, "Are you sure?" I said.

"We got to be," Skipper said, "if just one of those fall into the wrong hand it could be devastating...much less all seven!"

"I thought that there were only six infinity stones?" I said.

"Six?" Kowalski scoffed, "what is this the MCU? All universes have seven Infinity stones. Of course one of ours got blasted into the Monsters Vs. Alien universe."

"Technically the MCU currently has zero," Minion said.

"Whatever," Kowalski said.

"I will guard it will my life," I replied.

"We expect nothing less," Skipper said.

"Just don't plug it into any homicidal robots," Kowalski said.

"I'm not as foolish as you," I burned.

"I deserve that," Kowalski said.

"Move out!" Skipper said as they left.

As I heard the super-plane get ready to take-off I shoved the Mind Stone Container into Minions bionic hands, "Come Minion! We have a containment system to build!"

We failed to see a lobster hidden in a tree inputting information into a device, "Location of Mind Stone logged," the Lobster whispered to himself, "Doc's going to reward me for this for sure."

Unknown

(Dr. Blowhole's POV)

"Mind Stone location logged by Red Twenty Seven," Red one said.

"Metro City by the looks of it," Red Two said.

"Megamind's hideout," Red Three said.

"Good on him," Red Seventy two said.

"Excellent," I said, "remind me to reward him greatly for this."

"Yes Doctor," Red Fourteen said.

"I'm still waiting for this months paycheck," Parker said leading again a support.

"Do you want you Christmas Bonus?" I said.

"Yes," Parker said.

"Then hold your pants on!" I said, "I'll pay your in a moment!"

"Sir we just got the Location of the Time Stone," Red Forty four said.

"Red fifty two found it," Red One Ninety Nine said.

"Some Penthouse belong to a Mr. Hector Peabody," Red Thirty two said.

"In some kind of time machine," Red Five said.

"Well at least his not wearing it as jewelry," Red Four said.

"A time machine a perfect use for a Time control gemstone," Red One Hundred said.

"Says the Guy who gets to stand over there!" Red One Thousand screamed from all the way in the back.

"Chromeclaw!" I shouted over the Intercom, "deal with Red One Thousand!"

I smirked as I heard the satisfying crunch of Chromeclaw smashing the Lobster.

"All remaining stones located," Red Zero said looking at the incoming data and the shelf with the containment boxes with the Power and Dream Stones.

"Two down...five to go," I replied with a smirk.

"Sir just to let you know," Red One Hundred two said, "we are on schedule for the interdimesional portal device."

"Excellent!" I replied as I retreated to the darkest corner of the lair, "now if you excuse me I have to go grab my checkbook from the office."
