AN

Got this idea randomly and seemed really crazy that I just wanted to see how it went. Idk if'll I do this all the way but who knows maybe this could go really well. It's a oneshot that can turn into a full story.

The sun was beginning to set as the moon begun to take its dominant place over the snowy land of Argus. The citizens of the port city were retreating into their homes for the night as the city's defenses activated to ensure that no Grimm would invade in the peaceful night.

Being the major trading point for the continents of Anima and Solitas, Atlas spared no expense in making the military base to be the strongest in Remnant, other than Atlas itself. With the constant threat of Sea Feilongs and Leviathans lurking in the oceans that surrounded the trading city, the military base here had to be top notch.

Connected by a series of mini islands, the Atlas military installation in Argus was the best that the technological kingdom had to offer. Even if the base had recently undergone a massive upgrade any assaulter would be hard pressed to make it past the massive radar system they had built. Add the fact that it also served as a support relay for the Cross Continental Transmit System and you had a outpost that could not fall.

Caroline Cardovin was making the rounds within the military base to ensure that everything was going smoothly. She could not relax for a single moment, with the fate of not only this outpost, but of Argus and the communication with all of Remnant relied solely on her.

Flanked by her two trusty and loyal Nubuck Guards she entered the air traffic control tower of the military base. It was a hightower that overlooked the landing pads for the all of the base's aerial vehicles and oversaw any aerial vehicles that entered the Argus airspace, commercial and military.

"As you can see the public has nothing to worry about reporter." Following her was a news team that had wished to show the public the new changes that the base had undergone. As the new commander of this base what a better way of bolstering her public image, and Atlas's as well, then giving a tour to reassure the viewers the might of the base.

"Yes, I must admit that this base is very well-equipped to deal with any external threats but I believe the viewers would like to know how you would fare under an attack. After all the previous commander was relieved of his position after he failed to repel a Leviathan that inflicted massive damage on the city." This reporter was smart with her questions, a true gem in her field of profession. Not like they had paid her money to ask the questions they had made up and not her own.

Smiling In response, Cardovin was just about to answer the question until she felt one of her guards nudge her on the shoulder. Looking up at him in irritation, she saw him point to one of the technicians manning a terminal who seemed to have an urgent report for her.

"Just one moment." She excused herself from the news crew as she walked up to the technician.

"What seems to be the problem?" She asked with an edge of irritation.

"Sorry ma'am but we've just received a report from one of our long-range scanners about an Atlesian Dropship entering in our airspace.

"And so, what seems to be the problem, just follow our regular procedures."

"Yeah but we did but as we were running the identification through our databanks, we found something very interesting." The technician begun typing away on the console as he brought up a picture of the mentioned vessel. "It says here the ship was destroyed three months ago in a fight with the White Fang, the ship crashed and the survivors were killed off by the elements."

"Impossible run it through the databanks again." She commanded. An Atlesian ship that wasn't showing up was very strange indeed. Maybe a glitch in the system perhaps.

"Already did ma'am, my brother was the pilot of that ship." He said with a somber tone, indicating that whoever was piloting it was not from Atlas.

"Hmm...can we patch through to their comms?" This was an opportunity to create some a good public image for herself.

"Yes, we can why?"

"We're going to show the world how Atlas deals with thieves." Was all she said as she walked back to the news crew and her guards. "It seems like you'll have a firsthand look at how much more effective I am than the old commander." She walked up to the main terminal and ordered the technicians to establish a connection with the stolen dropship.

"Attention Atlesian Dropship 3908X you are in Argus Military Airspace, proceed west of your position now." She let go expecting to hear an answer but hearing none she went on a different channel.

"Diablo 1 and 2 you are to fly to these coordinates and escort the Atlesian Dropship back to the base, be wary of hostile elements." She ordered as she could hear the two pilots running off to prepare for flight.

Next, Cordovin refocused on the communications with the dropship. "You are to be escorted back to Argus by two Mantas, if you deviate from your course you will be shot down." She could see from the hightower the two Atlesian Mantas take to the skies to escort the dropship back to base.

Seeing that her plan in the works she motioned for one of her Nubuck Guards to lean down so she could whisper into his ear. "Mobilize our ground forces for the arrival of a stolen dropship, lethal force is authorized." Nodding the guard walked away to make the arrangements.

"You're in luck reporter, you will see first-hand how I will efficiently deal with any threats that dare bring harm to Argus." She smiled as she could see her victory at hand. If only she realized that she invited a menace that no military was prepared to handle.

It was dead night by the time the two Mantas returned with their escort. With the stolen dropship in sight the groundforces begun mobilizing as armored trucks begun to drive onto the landing pads. More than enough firepower was being brought to deal with just a few thieves, even White Fang members if that was the case.

Unfortunately for them that was not the case.

Back up on the hightower, the news crew began a live news coverage.

"This is Argus News with a live coverage at the Argus Military Base. We have just received word of a hijacked Atlesian dropship that is being escorted back to the base. Stay tuned for more on this development."

Hearing the live news coverage starting behind her, Cordovin smirked as her plan was all coming together. Now all that she needed was...

"Ma'am its here." The technician notified her. Looking back out the massive window she indeed see the stolen dropship enter the base as it begun landing on the landing pad. It's landing gears activated as the ship safetly landed.

Not a second later the ground forces quickly set up a perimeter around the ship, guns drawn and ready to fire.

"Woah, woah, woah." Hearing the technician panic she redirected her attention back on him.

He was typing away on his terminal frantically as his face was terrified by what was happening. "Something's happening to the radar, it just went offline!" Typing a bit more he found the source of the disturbance. "It's coming from the ship." Just as he said the lights went out for a split second before turning back on.

Was this an attack? But if so, why only bring one ship and not a fleet of them? Whatever the reasons were Cordovin needed to end it here.

"Pilot and crew of the Atlesian Dropship, power down now and step out of the airship or face the wrath of the Atlas military!" She commanded through the tower's speaker system. The soldiers on the ground readied themselves if a fight was going to occur.

All was silent as the dropship's twin engines suddenly shut off before the two engines suddenly pointed themselves upward in hover position.

Another second passed before the sound of that accursed sound of screeching iron filled the air as black mist begin to waft from the ship. Then in an instant all hell broke loose as the dropship seemingly begun transforming right before their eyes as the soldiers begun to immediately open fire.

"What in the hell..." Cordovin was at a loss of words at what was happening right before her eyes. The stolen dropship was beginning to transform into a large bipedal machine that was being covered by black mist.

What should've been impossible was becoming possible as parts of the ship were becoming some sort of armored suit was being assembled right before their eyes.

The head of the dropship formed its main torso as the rest of the ship soon transformed into its arms and feet. The head of a Geist soon formed its way onto where the head would be as the titan of steel begun to stand on its two metal legs.

Her mind was telling her that this was a terrorist machine that they had built but her eyes were telling her something else. She knew why this transformation mist looked familiar; it was the same mist that covered a Geist when it possessed inanimate objects as its armor.

But how the hell did a Geist possess an Atlesian ship and have the ability to transform it into a mechanized humanoid form!?

In her shock she had forgotten about the news crew that were still filming the carnage that was about to happen.

With its transformation fully complete the Geist looked down onto the ground forces that were staring at it in shock with its glowing yellow eye.

All that changed when a chaingun transformed its way into onto one of the Grimm's mechanical hands.

And all hell broke loose as the chaingun begun firing and ripping into the ground forces that were no match for the advanced Grimm as it paved a warpath in the Argus Base, sparing no one in its path.

As night gave way to day so too did it reveal the smoldering ruins of the Argus Military Base. The sounds of destruction had woken some of the citizens of Argus but by the sunrise all could see the smoke billowing from the base.

An Atlesian capital ship had been sent from Atlas to Argus to provide support for the city as the negativity from seeing the base that was meant to protect them be destroyed in a single night. They spent the next few nights on high alert as Grimm kept trying to destroy the city to try and finish what a single Geist had started.

The Atlesian government had tried to cover it up by saying that the base had experienced a Dust malfunction in the fuel line leading to the base's destruction and had taken down the news coverage the moment there had been word of an attack at the base. They also bribed any viewers that happened to see the news coverage of the real cause in hopes of preventing a panic from spreading.

Unfortunately, all it took were a few whispers from survivors for the real reason the base had been destroyed to spread like wildfire all across Remnant. Rumors of how a new Grimm toppled the entire military base all by itself.

Only a few knew the whole truth, none knew how it came to be.

Those that guarded the light questioned how it came to be and wondered if this was the prelude to a coming war.

Those that slithered in the dark were intrigued by the news. Wondered how a Grimm was able to evolve so far up the chain and if it could be replicated for their own goals.

And as for the one who caused all of this?

He just wondered how the hell this all started in the first place.

Idk if this'll be a full story or not but just wanted to see how the community would react to this. If this does continue somehow then this scene will be expanded upon in later chapters. Kudos to whoever knows what Transformer scene was the inspiration
