I pushed back my long blonde hair over my shoulder and started to sprint south, exiting my farm. I had just finished harvesting some cucumbers and am feeling rather *proud* of myself right about now. Earlier I shipped some and then kept some in my rucksack, maybe I'll make some cucumber juice later on for lunch; sounds refreshing to me.

Apparently today is White Day, or something. Some sort of romantic holiday, but I don't know much about it considering I just moved here, to Mineral Town. Speaking of romance, it just feels like everyone and their mother is trying to woo me ever since I've moved here. It's really frustrating lately how it seems someone is flirting with me one moment, and then the next moment they're flirting with someone else right in front of my own eyes! It happened with that emo guy Gray, he even gave me a brooch yesterday and then one hour later I see him hitting it off with Marie! In the library! And then, mini rant here, but it seemed Pastor Carter freaking tried setting me up with Cliff and then I go back in the church because I forgot something, and then I see freaking Pastor Carter trying to set him up with freaking Ran(!), and the pastor even had the AUDACITY to say under his breath that she'd be the perfect partner for him - JUST WHAT THE FUDGE! I'm not even into Cliff like that, but what the heck is that guy's problem?!

Jennifer's kind of cute, I think she fancies me a little bit. I love how she's kind of spiritual and into nature, but how she talks sounds a tad bit robotic sometimes, or I don't know if that's the right word to describe how I feel, but... I don't know, she's cool. I'll try to get to know her more and see what happens, which is why I'm heading over to her tent right now.

As I'm sprinting by the lake that's close by to Jennifer's tent, suddenly a strange tall man, dressed in all black, suddenly stood in front of me, blocking my path. His muscles were bulging through his clothes and he was wearing a black ski mask, the expression plastered on his face rather fierce and intimidating. I've never seen this man in town before.

With much caution, I backed up a bit and before I could bring out my axe to defend myself, in a flash the man had forcibly grabbed onto my shoulders and slammed me down to ground. I let out a yelp as pain simmered all throughout my body and my rucksack opened, allowing a few of my newly harvested cucumbers to roll out into the lake. So much for my planned cucumber juice!

Wincing in pain, I laid on the ground, feeling undoubtedly vulnerable and scared out of my mind. In a matter of seconds the man lifted his fist with all of his might to lunge right at me. Fearing for my life, I rushed up my arms to shield my face and closed my eyes, expecting the worst kind of physical pain to feel. But that pain never came.

An excruciating scream of agony abruptly came out of my attacker's mouth and I opened my eyes shocked to see the man now frantically sprinting away from the area.

Puzzled, I slowly sat up as pain still coursed throughout my body and I turned around to only flinch at seeing a tall silhouette hovering above the lake. I focused my eyes more and got a better view of who this was, it was...a guy...wait, a person? Is that a yellow...beak? ...

He was looking directly down at me with a nonchalant expression, him remaining as cool as a cucumber, and speaking of cucumbers, his skin and hair were freaking green, like a cucumber! He was even wearing this dark blue hat, a white scarf, and this mysterious looking black robe that just swayed smoothly with the wind.

He had on this poker face, I couldn't tell what he was thinking at all, but he just continued to stare down into my sapphire eyes as I kept staring into his dark, emerald orbs.

His dark green bangs would cover his eyes slightly as the wind gently rushed through both of our hair and it rippled through his black robe; I was absolutely entranced.

I gathered the strength to gradually stand up, I wobbled a bit due to the pain, but never once did we break our striking gaze on each other. I was shocked to the core by his mysterious presence yet at the same time utterly intrigued by him.

Breathless, I opened my mouth wanting to say something, but no words came out.

"Claire!"

I gasped and saw that police officer Harris was swiftly sprinting toward me. Suddenly, my legs felt like jelly and I fell to my knees, wincing in pain.

Harris instantly went to my side panicked. "Are you okay?! I received a report of a suspicious figure going through this area!"

Before I responded, I looked toward the lake to only see that the guy with dark green hair was gone. Disappointment flooded me.

"Um... Yeah, some guy did attack me and ran off."

Officer Harris carefully helped me up. "We need to get you to the clinic right away."

I nodded staying silent and as we made our way to the clinic, that cucumber skinned guy kept flashing through my mind the whole time on the way there.

Just what was he? An alien? Half-man, half-duck? A spirit?!

Even despite his absurd appearance, I still found him surprisingly handsome, attractive even.

...

What's wrong with me?

...

...

...

Why does he look hot to me?!

Feeling the blood rush to my cheeks, I shook my head in disapproval at my crazy thoughts and a determined look then visited my face as officer Harris and I now stood in front of the clinic.

I'm pretty sure he saved me, I need to say thank you.

I need to see him again.

Author Note: Oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm writing this. xD I'm so crazy, lol. This idea just popped in my head though when I first met Kappa in the newest Mineral Town remake and I like his new design a lot, kind of wish he had more of a human mouth though but oh well! XD I don't know if I'll actually marry him in the game yet but I'm essentially just talking to everyone and seeing who I connect with more! xD Anyway, if you'd like me to update please leave a review and tell me yours thoughts. Lol. I had fun writing this.
