It's time for another crossover fanfic!

This time between Lollipop Chainsaw and Monster Madness.

Both games have a generous helping of zombies.

Monster Madness isn't all zombies though. Not that that's a bad thing. Though Lollipop Chainsaw seems to have gotten better reviews than Monster Madness has. Oh well.

Chapter 1: Monster Madness

It had been a year since Juliet had saved her hometown from Swan and the Dark Purveyors.

She had even killed Killabilly, the biggest zombie that there was. He could shoot lasers from his eyes.

Afterwards, things had been pretty normal. Not a zombie in sight.

Hopefully the dead would rest in their graves. How else would they pay tribute to the dead if the dead were trying to devour them?

In the process of the zombie attack, her boyfriend had been bitten by one of the zombies.

The sad part was that he was trying to defend her. Though considering how many zombies she had killed in the past, maybe she didn't need defending.

So she decided to cut off his head to prevent reanimation...and then reanimate his head to keep him alive.

Maybe she should have cut off his forearm instead of decapitating him. It would be a lot easier to come up with a replacement arm than a replacement body.

But on the other hand, if she hadn't cut his head off, he probably wouldn't have been able to blow up Killabilly.

She wasn't sure whether she should have done something differently or not.

But there was no point living in the past. She wanted to live in the present.

Besides, the future was looking bright.

Currently, she was sucking on a lollipop.

How she loved lollipops.

"I should probably try a new flavor sometime." noted Juliet.

How many flavors were there, anyway?

She had almost figured out how many licks it took to get to the center of a Tootsie roll pop. It was a mystery worthy of the Scooby Gang.

However, part of her longed to fight zombies again.

"It's not the same without any zombie heads to cut off." noted Juliet.

She was so good at it.

Fortunately for her, she would get her chance.

On the news, she heard something alarming.

Apparently, somebody had opened up a portal to another dimension.

An evil one.

Now there were all sorts of monsters attacking a town known as Suburbia.

Including zombies.

It seemed quite up her alley.

"Where is that portal, I wonder?" asked Juliet.

It was apparently located at a castle owned by a famous movie actor.

The movie actor in question was known as Lawrence Thompson.

He had been in a lot of movies.

However, they had started to flop as of late.

Personally she wondered what kind of whackjob would want to open a portal like that.

Was it another goth like Swan?

It was possible.

Again, she wondered whether she should have done things differently.

But to be honest, Nick was probably a better choice in boyfriend.

She decided to tell her boyfriend what was going on.

Currently, he was reading a sports magazine.

"Is something wrong, Juliet?" asked Nick.

"Some maniac decided it would be a good idea to open a portal to an evil dimension..." noted Juliet.

"You think it was the devil?" answered the jock.

He was the only one he knew that would want to do that.

"Well, I wouldn't be surprised." remarked the cheerleader.

"If you take me with you, I hope I don't get decapitated again..." spoke Nick.

"I'll do my best not to let you get bitten by a zombie." noted Juliet.

It wasn't all bad though. He made for a great weapon against the zombies.

"Strangely enough according to the newspapers, these zombies aren't actually contagious." noted the cheerleader.

However, they had a habit of emerging from the ground when you least expected it.

"So I won't have to worry about being bitten?" asked the jock.

"Probably not. But don't take any chances." answered the girl with a cheerleader.

Nick nodded.

"We should probably get you a weapon..." noted Juliet.

"Will this baseball bat work?" asked her boyfriend. He figured it would be good for bashing in zombie skulls.

It seemed appropriate considering how much he loved sports.

Incidentally, his girlfriend happened to enjoy sports too.

It was one of the many things they had in common.

"Yeah!" nodded the cheerleader. It was as good of as a weapon as any.

She considered using one as a weapon...but a chainsaw seemed more her style. Personally her younger sister happened to like swords and her older sister happened to like guns.

Before they left, Juliet decided to contact her father.

It would be best if her family knew where she was going.

They wouldn't want to have to come looking for her.

Her sisters and father were zombie hunters themselves.

Perhaps they could give her a hand sometime.

"Hey dad. I'm going to a town called Suburbia..." explained Juliet.

"I take it you heard about the portal?" answered her father.

The cheerleader nodded.

"OK, but be careful., sugar pop! You might be dealing with the devil himself here!" exclaimed Gideon.

Juliet nodded.

Perhaps this was as big as the outbreak Swan caused.

Maybe even bigger.

Together, the two of them went to Suburbia.

Luckily, Juliet had her driver's license.

And so would Rosalind, once she drove a little less crazily.

Unsurprisingly, it happened to be a full moon outside.

No sign of werewolves, however.

They discovered that everyone seemed to be gone.

"Where did everyone go?" asked Nick.

"It seemed that everyone already decided to leave." noted Juliet.

Perhaps they realized that monsters were invading the town.

However, there still seemed to be people who hadn't evacuated.

Perhaps it would be best if she warned them.

She didn't want them to become zombies.

The four citizens who hadn't evacuated were a group of teenagers.

Their names were Zack, Carrie, Andy, and Jennifer.

It seemed they didn't realize what was happening.

Currently, Zack was playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.

"Thanks for playing Dungeons and Dragons with me, Carrie." noted Zack.

"You're welcome." answered Carrie.

Personally she thought it was fun. She was starting to see why Zack played it so much with his friends...his geek friends, that is.

Maybe someday she would kiss him.

But he always seemed to be interrupted whenever he tried to ask her out.

For example, when he attempted to confess his love to Carrie earlier today, Andy had interrupted him.

He was frustrated at him for that reason.

Still, he might as well let him play Dungeons and Dragons with him. Andy might think he was cooler than he really was, but at least he wasn't a bully.

"Why are you so gloomy, Carrie?" asked Jennifer.

Would it hurt for her to cheer up a bit?

Then again, despite being a cheerleader, she wasn't cheerful all that often. She had a tendency to be high-strung.

"To be honest, I find my lifestyle to be boring." noted Carrie.

A certain cheerleader might be surprised to hear that, but her parents happened to have a lot of money.

And money didn't buy happiness. Only boredom.

"Why did I get roped into playing this game, anyway?" asked Jennifer. Board games weren't her ideal hobby.

"Well, you're not copying off of my science homework." noted Zack.

That was the original reason she had been there.

"Just study like the rest of us!" exclaimed Carrie.

"Easy for you to say! Your report card is spectacular!" shouted the cheerleader.

"Yours too?" asked the boy.

"Yeah..." answered Carrie. She particularly did well in poetry.

She came up with all sorts of creepy poems.

'I wish my report card were like that." noted Andy.

The only class he seemed to do well in was gym.

Incidentally, Nick excelled in that class, as one would imagine. Though unfortunately his gym teacher had been eaten by zombies.

It wasn't as obvious as it was with Zack, but she was a pretty smart girl.

Perhaps this was why she and the nerd got along so well.

"Maybe you'll do better if you studied a bit more." noted Zack.

"And miss out on skateboarding?" asked Andy.

"You're already pretty good at skateboarding." noted Jennifer.

His skateboarding tricks were nothing short of impressive.

Suddenly, Juliet came in.

Zack gasped.

"Don't tell me this is a robbery!" exclaimed the teenage boy.

Although, he never thought he would be robbed by a cheerleader. Especially considering his friendship with Jennifer.

"Relax. I'm not here to rob you." answered Juliet.

"Then why do you have a chainsaw?" asked Jennifer.

"For defending myself." explained the zombie hunter.

"Why do you need defending? You're the one with a chainsaw, not us!" exclaimed Andy.

Personally he would like to have a chainsaw himself.

However, his parents assured him that it wasn't a toy.

"Is this a friend of yours, Jennifer?" asked Andy.

"Nope." answered Jennifer.

Though maybe she should make friends with her.

"Hi! Um, listen, I figured I should warn you about the portal..." noted Juliet.

"What portal? Is this part of our Dungeons and Dragons game?" asked Andy.

It would be really cool if it was.

"This dungeon is full of twists." noted Jennifer.

"No. It's happening in reality." explained the teenage girl.

"A portal? I didn't know that alternate dimensions existed..." questioned Zack.

It had been part of his theoretical research, however.

Maybe for his next science project he could try creating a portal.

"Yeah...somebody opened up a portal to an evil dimension..." explained the cheerleader with a chainsaw.

Perhaps they wanted absolute power or something.

Or immortality.

Or to be famous.

Or some combination of the three.

"It wasn't me." answered Carrie.

Just because she was a goth didn't mean that she opened portals to alternate dimensions.

Goths weren't inherently evil (despite what Jennifer might think), though there was always a nut that wanted to do evil things.

Though perhaps things would get interesting in her boring town.

Suburbia was too ordinary for her tastes.

Suddenly, Nick came in.

"Juliet? Are you sure you should be entering someone's house without permission?" asked the jock.

He didn't want her to get in trouble for breaking and entering. She couldn't defend everyone from zombies if she was in jail.

However, he also got the feeling that the law enforcement were probably trying to hold off the zombies at the moment.

"I have a good cause." explained Juliet.

"True..." noted Nick.

It would be bad if the four of them were caught unprepared.

"Hmm, I have to question whether your school has a dress code." remarked Nick, looking at Jennifer.

Her outfit didn't seem exactly appropriate school attire.

And he had the lingering suspicion that Jennifer wasn't wearing underwear.

At least Juliet seemed to wear some.

"The principal has been a bit bonkers lately." admitted Jennifer.

She wasn't sure why.

"I've had a lot of jock boyfriends in the past..." noted the cheerleader.

"Well, I already have a girlfriend." answered Nick.

"Aww..." complained Jennifer.

"How many boyfriends have you had?" asked the jock.

She pulled out a photo album.

He was nothing short of impressed by the amount.

"That is a lot of jocks..." noted Nick.

He wondered why she had decided to break up with them all.

Was the jock not an ideal man for her as she thought?

Suddenly, they heard knocking on the door.

"What was that?" asked Zack.

Maybe it was his parents.

Perhaps they had gotten back from their trip to the movies.

It was an R-rated movie, so Zack couldn't come.

Though for some strange reason they had taken a long time to get back home.

Did their car break down?

He certainly hoped not.

Suddenly, they heard moaning.

"That doesn't sound good, dude." noted Andy.

And indeed it wasn't.

They began to hear banging on the door.

"Whose banging on the door?" asked Zack.

"I have a pretty good idea." noted Nick.

Carrie decided to look out the window.

It was none other than the walking dead.

"Oh, would you look at that. Zombies are real." noted Carrie.

Ironically, people said that she looked like a zombie.

At least Zack knew the difference.

Perhaps that was why she hanged out with him. He didn't treat her differently simply because she was a goth.

Unsurprisingly, Jennifer was terrified by what was happening outside the house.

"Zombies?!" bellowed the teenager.

For a moment, she wondered if she was going to faint.

But as it turned out, she did not.

"Whoa, this is totally scary, dude!" exclaimed Andy.

"There's got to be something we can do..." noted Zack. Though he wasn't sure how you were supposed to kill something that was already dead. It seemed scientifically impossible.

"Aah!" exclaimed Jennifer.

"If they want brains, they'll probably have to look elsewhere." noted Carrie, looking at a blonde cheerleader wearing a pink tube top.

"Hey!" shouted the cheerleader.

On the other hand, chances are that the zombies would swarm Zack within moments.

Maybe her too. But perhaps she didn't have as much to live for as he did.

"Here they come!" exclaimed Juliet.

"So...you weren't kidding about the zombies?" asked Jennifer.

"Unfortunately, no." answered Nick.

Zombies were very much real. They just happened to live in different worlds than their own.

However, these zombies seemed to be from a different world than Rotten World.

The banging on the door grew louder.

It would be best if they got ready to handle the undead.

Perhaps there were weapons in the house that they could use?

Anything was welcome.

Jennifer got a frying pan.

Carrie got a kitchen knife.

Zack got a hammer.

Andy got...a plunger.

"A plunger?" questioned Jennifer.

That didn't seem like the most practical weapon in the world.

"I've always wanted to be a plumber!" exclaimed Andy.

It would be preferable to being a farmer, he thought.

"This isn't Super Mario Bros." informed Carrie.

If it would, they would probably be under attack by turtles, not zombies.

Though part of her wondered if this was Castlevania.

"I know. But I figured it would make for a good weapon!" explained the skater.

"Sure, whatever." answered the goth.

She sure hoped that Andy knew what he was doing.

Luckily for Juliet, she had remembered to bring her chainsaw.

And of course, Nick had his baseball bat.

The zombies burst into the house.

"Here they come!" exclaimed Jennifer.

"I sure hope we can get that door fixed." noted Zack.

"Maybe we should have boarded it up..." answered Carrie.

"Maybe..." questioned Juliet.

But to honest, she was kind of used to fighting zombies, rather than hiding from them.

Together, the six of them ran towards the zombies.

"I'm looking forward to this!" exclaimed Juliet.

So, what do you think so far? I'm open to suggestions. Though of course I'll be using my own ideas as well.

Every review helps!
