Hey guys! It has been a very, very long time since I put out any content! As you all know from any update ever, I always talk about how busy I am. You would think with COVID-19 out and about that I would have more time on my hands, though somehow I have even less! Who would've thunk huh?

Anyways, this is a short idea that popped into my head while I was attempting to finish writing one of the other stories I have planned. It's pretty cliche and corny in terms of plot-lines, but I mean c'mon; who actually gets tired of those wholesome hallmark moments am I right? This is short and sweet, but I think it offers a nice and wholesome moment between our two favorite titans.

Some people might feel as though Raven is slightly OOC here, though I personally think she reacts how she would at this time. This is set a few years after Trigon has been defeated, and Raven is free to experience her emotions to the fullest. In this story she's not overly controlled by her emotions, though she's much less reserved than she would be if she had to suppress them still. We all know Raven is a tsundere, though the thing with tsunderes is once you get to their heart... their whole tough act melts away!

Unlike most of my stories, Beast Boy and Raven are already in an established relationship. Though it's recent, that way the romance is fresh. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

"Wow, they're so beautiful!"

"….Stop staring at my tits Beast Boy."

Beast Boy gave a sheepish chuckle as he turned his attention away from his alluring girlfriend and toward the exquisite night sky that was sprinkled with luminous stars all around. His lewd remark caused for the irritable empath to raise a quick eyebrow, while returning a rather unamused gaze.

A cool breeze gently swept over and through the two titans as they sat upon the jagged cluster of rocks which lay close to the water and away from the city. This particular spot around the Tower was perfectly secluded, and one of the only few that had an atmosphere that felt somewhat separated from Jump City. The ocean waves crashed softly against the small island, creating both a restful and tranquil ambience in the background. However, nothing was more stunning and as ravishing as the moonlit sky. The thousands of stars shining above were intricately woven together as if nature itself had designed a splendorous tapestry suited exclusively for pure unadulterated romance. This very night was perfect; and it was theirs.

Things had finally begun to settle down in Jump City, as people saw less and less criminal activity with a healthy lack of villain appearances. The Teen Titans had outgrown their team name, rebranding themselves as simply "Titans". Now in their young adult years, the heroes of Jump City were battle hardened with plenty of raw experience to boot. They had become efficient; highly effective, and highly intimidating. They were very cohesive, understanding each other's strengths as well as weaknesses. With maturity came a more strategic approach, and as a result, crime was at its lowest. This meant that they had way more free time than ever before, and for that they were all very grateful. Because of the gradual opening of their schedules, Beast Boy and Raven now had more opportunity to allow their newfound relationship to develop.

Beast Boy's head tilted in awe as he studied the stars in great detail. Their bright lights reflected in his widening eyes; resembling giant, sparkling emeralds. His mouth was slightly agape, with feint breaths slowly escaping out of it. Raven's gaze had remained unmoving from the changeling, only this time her expression changed. A soft, tender smile discretely spread itself across her face while her cheeks tinged with pink. Her eyes were affectionate, adoring her energetic lover. She could feel his excitement and adventurous spirit sweeping throughout his entire being. She could see his chest rising and falling rhythmically with bated breaths. He was the kind of person to pour his entire heart and soul into everything he engaged in, and it was what made him so very attractive… and so very lovable.

Raven's vision travelled down toward his side, where his hand was casually resting on his front leg. Saying not a word, Raven leisurely reached for his hand before laying her head on his shoulder as she entwined her fingers with his. She could feel his heart begin to throb and his emotions become in disarray. She quietly giggled to herself. For someone so bold and seemingly arrogant as him, he simply melted at any intimate contact they shared together. She had this strong effect on him, and she reveled in it. Inside that dorky, mischievous exterior lie a sweet and innocent human being.

"I'm glad we can be like this, Gar." Raven whispered.

Swallowing hard, Beast Boy made sure to calm himself down a bit before answering her.

"M-me too!" Beast Boy exclaimed all too excitedly.

The green titan hesitantly turned his head to his side, looking down at the silky purple hair that laid underneath his neck and on his shoulder. His strong sense of smell could easily pick up the scent of her lavender shampoo, and it was nothing short of intoxicating. Finally, after some inner debating he mustered up the courage to bury his face against the top of her head, closing his eyes and allowing his nose to gently rest against it. He then gave it a soft kiss, lingering for several seconds before he turned his head to the side; letting the side of his head lean against hers while he returned his attention to the night sky.

"Y'know, I never thought I'd ever have a chance…" Beast Boy admitted.

"A chance for what?" Raven asked comfortably.

"A chance to be with you." He answered.

"So, you do realize just how much I'm out of your league then." Raven teased.

"Hey! Totally not cool Raven!" Beast Boy griped.

There was a silence between the two, though Raven held in a chuckle.

"…Well, you're right though. You're definitely out of my league! You're just so hot and like, sexy, and like… really thick and juicy n'stuff!" Beast Boy asserted.

"Okay, the romanticism is fading." Raven groaned.

"You know what I'm tryin' to say!" Beast Boy whined.

Beast Boy gripped her hand a bit harder as if to properly emphasize his feelings.

"I never thought that someone like you would ever be okay with a guy like me. Look. You're smart and clever and all… but you're also super pretty too! I mean, not everyone can be both mega talented and drop dead gorgeous! That's Mercury's Law or sumthin' like that. But ya really got it both. Ya really do. And you're also really strong too! Your powers are literally out of this world." Beast Boy exclaimed.

The green bean let out an exasperated sigh.

"I'm not really good enough for you Raven. I'm skinny and stupid, and I ain't exactly the nicest thing to look at. And my genes are no good. I WAS BALD IN THE FUTURE RAVEN. FRIGGIN. BALD. I'm not as skilled as Robin, I'm not as handy as Cyborg, I'm nowhere near as strong as Starfire, and I'm nuthin' in comparison to you! If I couldn't turn into animals, I'd be a nobody." Beast Boy explained soberly.

Raven sat up straight and turned her body toward Beast Boy.

"You are Garfield Logan. That's who you are." Raven responded sternly.

Raven quickly wrapped her arms around the changeling's neck, looking up to let herself lock eyes with him.

"Robin is nothing without his training, Cyborg is nothing without his technology, Starfire is nothing without her abilities…" Raven began.

She looked deeper into his eyes, her own becoming glassy as she allowed for her own emotions to well up inside of her.

"And I'm nothing without you." She finished.

With that, the demoness brought her hands to his face and pulled him toward her. Barely any time had passed before her lips met with his. It was restrained and delicate, as if it was almost laced with caution; like as though there were second thoughts or fear of repercussions from her actions. However, rationality was thrown out the window, and soon she found herself immersed in passion. She lovingly slid her fingers through the tufts of his hair, feeling the soft jade fur brushing up against them.

Once the shock wore off, Beast Boy rapidly engrossed himself in the kiss. He embraced the empath, caressing her back as he longed to be closer to her. To feel her with him here in this moment under the moonlight. Her lips were soft and warm, inviting him to stay connected with her. They moved around and around each other, dancing to the sweet ballad of their hearts. In this moment, he felt free.

Eventually they separated, allowing themselves to breath and regain their composure. Shortly after, Raven tenderly wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly as she began to whisper in his ear.

"You mean everything to me Garfield." Raven spoke softly.

Beast Boy for the first time in his life found himself at a loss for words. Though in this moment, it felt like there was no need for a response other than for him to hug her back. As he continued to embrace her, he brought his attention once more to the stars above. They shone so vividly, as if they were directly responding to the events unravelling below. It was almost as though they were showing him how beautiful life truly was when a wonderful person entered your life.

Thank you.

Eventually, Raven released her hold on the changeling, and he then followed suit. Once more they sat next to each other, side by side in silent bliss. There was a warm and hearty feeling that resonated in the atmosphere around them, giving a strong sense of both hope and satisfaction. They had a future. A future, together… written in the stars that spread as far as the universe did expand.

Raven found herself reflecting on the stars as well, though her face turned pensive. Beast Boy turned to look at her and was confused by her facial expression. After a few minutes, she looked back up and at him with the same level of lovingness that was evident in her kiss.

"Garfield…" She began.

"Yeah?" Beast Boy answered perplexed.

"You're like the stars." Raven stated as she blushed.

"I am?" He asked, puzzled.

"You are." She smiled.

Raven brought her hand to the side of his face, fondly stroking his soft green cheek. Her eyes scanned every facial feature, admiring everything that was just… Garfield. His adorable little tooth, his endearing elf-like ears, his scraggly cute hair. They were what made him who he was, the man she loved. And she loved every single part of him with all her heart.

"You are the light to my darkness. The star… to my night sky." Raven cooed.

Beast Boy became flustered, his blushing causing his green skin to somehow look more odd than it already did. Fortunately, he made a rapid recovery and gave a wide grin.

"Oh really? Well, outta all the stars out here tonight… myself included, nothing shines brighter to me than you Raven. I love you!" He smiled sheepishly.

"And I love you, Garfield Logan." Raven smiled back.

And then a meteor fell from space and crashed into them, killing them both. HA! Just kidding obviously. I was so tempted to actually put that in there, just to see the reaction at the stupidly bad ending coming out of left field. It would have been such a tonality shift haha!
