This is definitely the best drabble I've written on Tumblr! And it's definitely my favorite one! (I wrote this to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Till Death do us Part. AKA, the greatest episode of Season 10!) Enjoy!

Night had fallen, the vows had been said, the celebration was on.

Looking on at the happy couple, Hetty mused on the day's events and the past half year.

A half year ago, the woman who was supposed to replace her dead partner sent her team on a suicide mission that caused her to see the worst thing she had ever seen in her life. She then raced off to Mexico to save them. Afterwards, She stuck around in Mexico for a little while. then something bad happened, something bad enough to convince her to call Callen, but with a voice changer.

The details to what happened to her during those months are still TBD.

At Christmas, She felt it was safe enough to return home for just a bit, Just to see that her team was ok. Even if it meant just standing outside of the bar wishing them well.

After that, She went back into hiding, with details still TBD. She kept tabs on her team the best she could, She heard about the theater bombing, and seeing her team in the paper, She felt proud. Because She knew inside of her that her team had prevented the situation from being worse then it was.

The week before the wedding, She called Deeks to let him know that she planned on being at the wedding, and helping out. And she figure, Why not surprise her team? That's why She told Deeks to keep it a secret.

The day of the wedding. Hetty was lurking around the venue, planning to show herself when it was time for the ceremony. Then She saw the VERY unwelcome Russian party crashers. At first, She waited, letting her team take care of them. Then She saw Callen, Sam, and Deeks in trouble, and then knew She couldn't stay hidden anymore. (After all, You can't exactly have a wedding with a dead groom!)

She wondered at 1st what to do, bust through the door with guns blazing? Then She looked at the valet parking, then had an idea, not just to save the wedding, but also make a very dramatic entrance! She swiped the keys to a yellow Mini, then at the perfect oppertunity, barreled through the wall to save the wedding!

For a few seconds, the guys and the groom were wondering who their hero was (or if it was another bad guy), then a small foot came out, then, taking a few steps forward, they saw their MIA boss.

'Really? I can't leave you damn kids alone for one minute?!'

They were too stunned, and beyond happy to say anything.

After that, it was time for the wedding. The vows were beautiful. (The bride and groom even kissed her as a thank you! ❤❤) The boys sat with her for a bit, telling Callen that maybe someday, She would tell him what had happened to her, but that that day was a day to spend with family and friends. Sam and Callen then went to the dance floor.

And She just sat there, hoping that the troubles of the past half year were over. (and slightly feeling sorry for the owner of that yellow Mini who would have to Uber home.)

Additional note: Seeing Hetty return like that, after so many months, was the greatest moment in NCIS LA history for me!
