Backstory:
A native of Little Italy, Tommaso grew up the 1st generation of Italian-American, His father served honourably as a Marine from 1915 – 1920. His mother Bridgette was a French immigrant from France who Giuseppe met in the War.
At the age of 16, Tommaso graduated early from High School lying about his age to join the US Army, with the blessing of his Father, Mother and Uncle.
In 1941, Tommaso enlisted in the United States Army. He went onto Airborne training after basic training and graduated with basic parachute badge. After Pearl Harbor got hit, Tommaso was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division with the 505th Parachute Regiment.
Tommaso rose to the rank of Sergeant after serving in Sicily. Tommaso continued fighting with the 82nd Airborne in Italy capturing the city of Naples along with breaking through the Volturno Line before returning to Naples for occupation duty.
In February of 1944, Tommaso and the 505th Parachute Regiment returned to England positioned in the Leicestershire Region of Nottinghamshire. Tommaso was soon transferred to the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne in April 1944.
His older twin brother Joseph is a Staff Sergeant in the 2/5 Marines of the 1st Marine Division serving since Guadalcanal.
Personality:
Like his older twin brother, Tommaso is very confident, capable and a warrior. He believes in honor and the flag. His loyalty to duty is unrivalled. Tommaso sorely regrets leaving his parents while he and his brother fight overseas in the war.
While Tommaso is a confident NCO, he still finds himself pressured by the burdens of losing his friends in combat.
