Hi this is just a book for Percabeth stories that are based off of songs. If you have any song suggestions you'd like me to write a story based off of let me know!
I update pretty daily as well.
I based this first one off of the song "That Way," by Tate McRae. It's a amazing song!
This story takes place between botl and tlo, but with a twist.
Just friends?
"Staring at Percy?" Silena smirked at Annabeth as she leaned down and sat next to her, leaning on the same tree.
Annabeth's cheeks were bright red, mainly out of embarrassment, maybe a little anger. "Yeah, I'm just looking over battle plans and stuff," Annabeth grumbled as she pretended to write something in her notebook.
Silena scoffed as she took her notebook in her hands and threw it into the bushes.
Annabeth glared at her. "What was that for?"
Silena smirked smugly and stood up, wiping off a little dirt. "Ew, I seriously got dirt on my shorts for this," she then held her hand out for Annabeth to take.
Annabeth unwillingly took it and let Silena pull her up. "What?" She groaned as Silena started to drag her away.
Silena giggled softly and stopped walking. "You like Percy," she stated.
"Says who."
She laughed and rolled her eyes. "literally everyone. You guys will be the cutest couple this camps ever had," she then paused and blushed. "Not including Charlie and I though."
Annabeth raised her eyesbrows and bumped shoulders with her. "You and Charlie?"
"You and Percy?"
"There's no," Annabeth scoffed. "Me and Percy," she mocked.
"Friends don't look at friends that way," she said before simply walking away, skipping happily, whistling some song.
Annabeth stood there, pondering at the sky. "Friends don't look at friends that way," she whispered softly to no one in particular. "What does that mean," she scoffed before walking back to the Athena cabin.

Run me in circles
Like you always do
Mess with me on purpose
So I'll hang onto you

"Annabeth," Grover called out as he ran to her.
Annabeth turned around and smiled. "Hey, Grover," she smiled. "What's going on?"
"Come down to the arena," he smirked. "It's Percy vs Clarisse."
"Oh god," Annabeth groaned as she face palmed. "That isn't going to end well."
"Well you should come," he tried to hide his grin but failed. "Percy sent me to find you."
Annabeth smiled slightly before raising her eyebrows in a questionable matter. "Why?"
Grover smiled knowingly at her. "You know why."
She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, giving Grover her death stare.
He stared at her with wide eyes before backing up one step.
"What is that supposed to mean," she said, her voice on edge.
"Uhhh," Grover stuttered. "So," he laughed nervously. "There's this uh - this rumor you know?"
Annabeth stared at him in confusion before stepping forward two steps. "What rumor," she almost growled.
"That you and Percy are secretly dating," he then covered his face with his hands. "Please not the face."
"I'm not gonna hit you," she scoffed as she walked past him, bumping into his shoulder.
Grover followed her curiously. "Sorry."
She shrugged. "Who started it?"
"Uhh," Grover said, picking at his brain. "No idea actually, I heard it from Katie Gardener."
Annabeth smirked. "Okay."
"Uh oh," he said. "What are you planning?"
"What makes you think I'm planning anything?"
"You have that evil smirk."
"Evil smirk?"
Grover chuckled. "Yeah, when you get like a evil plan or whatever, you like, you get this smirk. Percy actually called it cute once."
Annabeth whipped around to stare at Grover.
"Oh," Grover said as his mouth turned into a O. "I don't think I was supposed to tell you that."
Her face turned red. "Percy said what?"
Grover couldn't help but giggle as he started to walk away, singing some silly camp song about Percy and Annabeth kissing in a tree.

I know what you mean when you act like that
You don't know it's breaking my heart
Said that it was just never gonna happen
Then almost kissed me in the dark
Every time we talk it just hurts so bad
'Cause I don't even know what we are
I don't even know where to start
But I can play the part

Annabeth reached the Arena and heard roars and screams.
She entered and couldn't keep her eyes off of a certain son of Poseidon. He was in the middle, riptide in his hand. His forehead beating with sweat.
He didn't seem to acknowledge yet, considering he was in the middle of a fight with Clarisse. He was clearly winning.
"We bet money on your boyfriend," Travis said as both the Strolls approached her.
"Not my boyfriend," she grumbled as she stared at them fighting.
Connor laced a arm around her shoulder and yelled, "GO PERCE! MAKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND PROUD!"
And at that Percy froze and looked in their direction. He met Annabeths eyes and smiled, which was a mistake on his part. It gave Clarisse enough time to throw him onto the floor and point her spear at his chest.
"I win," she panted as she smugly grinned at Percy.
He stood up and shook off all of the dust on him. He then stared at Clarrise with a smile planted on his face. "Good game."
Connor boo'd as Percy approached them, earning a glare from him and Annabeth.
"Get your arm off of my shoulder," Annabeth said as she pulled him away.
He wiggled his eyebrows. "You didn't seem to mind till he," he said, pointing at Percy. "Showed up."
Percy stared at Annabeth, not paying any attention to either of the brothers.
"Perce, stop drooling. We all know Annabeth is hot and al-," Travis never finished, he was too busy on the floor, holding his - groaning in pain.
Percy laughed and high-fived her. "Nice one."
She shrugged then glared at Connor. "Your turn?"
Connor scoffed as he helped his brother up. "This isn't over, Percabeth."
"What's a Percabeth?" Percy mumbled.

We say we're friends
But I'm catching you across the room
It makes no sense
'Cause we're fighting over what we do
And there's no way
That I'll end up being with you
But friends don't look at friends that way
Friends don't look at friends that way

"I need to talk to you," Annabeth said, her face turning slightly red.
"Uh, yeah," Percy ssid as he looked down at himself. "Can we go to my cabin? I have to change, I'm really sweaty," he chuckled.
"No dip," she laughed, walking side by side with him. "Anyway, Grover," she said hiding her grin. "Said something very interesting earlier." She didn't fail to see his face turn slightly red, he covered it with a fake cough.
"Uh," he stuttered. "And what would that be?"
"What do you think it is?" She challenged him.
"It could be anything."
"Hmm," she smirked but then turned to him, all humor aside. "There's rumors about us?"
He nodded slowly. "You're just finding out about them?"
"There's more then one?" She nearly shrieked.
Percy sighed and opened the door to his cabin, letting Annabeth in first.
Once she entered he shut it, watching as Annabeth made herself comfortable on his bed.
"How many?" She asked softly.
He sighed, rubbing his eyes groggily. "Uh, a lot."
She pressed her head against the wall. "Like what?"
"Uhh," he stuttered. "That were secretly dating, we've uh you know - done it, that we kissed, uh - that we've made out," then he started to laugh. "Can't forget the best one. I think Connor started this one though, there's also the rumor about us eloping at Los Vegas."
At the last one, Annabeth couldn't help but giggle. "It's funny how none of these rumors are real," she hen paused and scrunched her eyebrows together. "Well, almost."
Percy nodded silently before heading to the bathroom, a fresh pair of clothes in his hands.

Can't even tell if
I love or hate you more
You've got me addicted
And I can't tell who's keeping score (score)—————————————————————————Annabeth sighed as she leaned on his wall, her head banging several times.
After around three minutes, Percy returned from the bathroom, throwing his dirty clothes on the floor.
Annabeth then gave him a disapproving stare, which made him roll his eyes and throw the dirty clothes in the clothing hamper.
"So," he trailed on, his fingers strumming on his thighs. He then decided to sit on the edge of his bed, staring at Annabeth. "Nice whether?"
"What's going on between us?" Annabeth said bluntly, avoiding eye contact with Percy.
Percy stared at her with a lopsided smile. "What do you mean?"
She shrugged aimlessly. "I mean," she pondered, her gaze meeting Percys. "I don't know," she eventually sighed.
Percy crawled up his bed so he was sitting next to Annabeth. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah," she said softly, staring at the wall in front of her.
"Why did you kiss me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why did you kiss me?"
She sighed and averted her eyes to the floor. "I thought you were going to die."
"So you're saying," he grinned. "If Grover was about to die, you'd kiss him."
Annabeth snorted at the idea of kissing Grover, then quickly realized Percy (for once) outsmarted her. "Uhh," she stuttered. "No," she laughed. "That's a funny joke."
He raised his eyebrows and stared at her. "Wanna play a game?"
"What kind of game?"
"Truth or truth."

"Truth or truth?"
She rolled her eyes at him. "Or."
"Huh?" He asked dumbly.
"I pick or."
"Stop being a smartass."
"Nah," she giggled. "You love when I'm a smartass."
"Duh," he laughed, then his face turned red, causing him to fake cough to fill the silence.
"Fine," she sighed. "Truth," at that moment she realized how close Percys face was to hers.
"Why did you kiss me?"
She turned her head to meet his gaze. "Friends don't look at friends that way."
"What do you mean."
"It's something Silena said to me."
His lips were so close to her ear, that she was red in the face. "You like me," he stated.
"I have no idea what your taking about," she squeaked.
"Liar."
She turned her head again, her eyes looking down his lips. "You caught me."
