Munkustrap walked peacefully through the streets of London. The people were starting to stroll to their works and cars slowly busied the city as the minutes passed. The silver tabby kept himself in the shadows to avoid unnecessary human contact. About half an hour later, Munkustrap turned to an alley with some stairs. He climbed carefully to the fourth floor and entered an open window.

As he came into the apartment, the cat noticed that a human was asleep on the green couch in the living room with the so-called television still turned on. Munkustrap shook his head and creeped over the human's hand which was dangling from one side. With a small purr, the tabby nuzzled the hand. Noticing there was no reaction, Munkustrap jumped onto the lap of the human and meowed loudly. The human gave a little jump and opened her blue eyes in surprise. She sighed in relief as she saw the feline´s brown eyes meeting hers. The human yawned and stretched herself before petting Munkustrap's head. "Hi, Stripes…" The human whispered still half-asleep. She suddenly came to the realization that it was already morning. Her eyes darted across the room and looked over to the clock hanging on the wall. "SHIT! IT'S 8:15 ALREADY?!" The human hurriedly stood up while picking up Munkustrap and putting him on the floor. She headed towards the bathroom and shut the door. The cat rolled his eyes and chuckled. "She always does this." Munkustrap thought. He made his way to the main bedroom and leaped on top of the cozy bed. He lied down and closed his eyes. His ears could still detect the bizarre noises the female human made when she was in a hurry. Munkustrap suddenly heard the bathroom door open and sensed a tall figure approach him. He felt a hand strobing his back lovingly. "Good to have you back, Stripes. I am leaving for work now." The woman smiled at the cat and turned around. She left the apartment shortly after. Munkustrap took a deep breath and finally fell asleep after a very long night at the Jellicle Ball.

"Jennifer…"

Munkustrap opened his eyes immediately as a loud sound emerged from the other side of the apartment. The silver tabby frowned and jumped from the bed. He hid himself behind the semi-closed door from the room. He peeked and saw a shadow on the wooden floor coming his way. The cat gasped and slid himself under the bed as quietly as possible. A pair of black boots pushed the door and entered the room. Munkustrap tried to slow down his heavy breathing as the newcomer searched the place by rummaging through drawers and looking into the dresser. When Munkustrap saw that the newcomer was distracted with an item he had found, he launched himself and ran as fast as he could towards the living room. The silver tabby heard heavy steps followed him. Without hesitation, Munkustrap jumped through the window and landed gracefully on the stairs. An arm reached out, trying to grab the cat, but Munkustrap scratched it with his sharp claws. The intruder screamed in pain as the tabby made his way down. Once safely on the ground, Munkustrap looked up and saw the intruder gaze at him with an angry expression. Nevertheless, the newcomer returned to whatever he was doing inside the apartment. "I have to tell someone." Munkustrap said to himself as he turned around and started running towards the Junkyard.

The Junkyard was filled with the Jellicle cats roaming around the place. Some adults were sharing tongues while the kittens were playing with each other. Alonzo was standing guard near the entrance of the Junkyard, accompanied by his mate Cassandra. The female rested her head on the shoulder of her companion as the other remained aware of his surroundings. The sun was at its highest, the warm temperature reaching its peak. The Jellicles sought for the shadows to rest. As Alonzo and Cassandra started to move to a better look-out place, a grey blur appeared from a corner and rushed past them. Alonzo was startled and immediately went after it. The fast moving figure stopped at the center of the Junkyard, all the cats noticing it and putting themselves in a defensive position. Before having second thoughts, Alonzo leaped towards the figure and pinned it against the ground. His eyes widened as he recognized the familiar silver tabby. The fit cat quickly let go of his protector and backed up a few feet. The other cat hastily stood up.

"Munkustrap, what on the Heaviside Layer are you doing? I could've done something worse to you." Alonzo said calmly. "Have you forgotten the rules we have for entering the Junkyard?" Munkustrap shook his head as he took heavy breaths. "I haven't forgotten… It's just that… I had to get here for help as fast as I could…"

Alonzo tilted his head in confusion. The Jellicle cats came out from the shade of the piles of trash, curiously listening to the conversation. Jemima and Demeter sat themselves beside the silver tabby. Alonzo urged the protector to continue.

"An intruder managed to enter my home. I don't know what he's planning on doing but I can't let him get away with this. He might even do something to Jennifer!"

The Jellicles looked worriedly among each other. The Rum Tum Tugger approached the four cats in the middle. "What about Jonas?" The striped cat asked.

"Jonas is on a work trip. He should be safe from this." Munkustrap replied with a serious tone. Mistoffelees jumped down from the TSE-1 red car and approached the group as well. "What can we do to help?" The black and white cat asked.

"We need a plan. There must be something we can do." Munkustrap said worrying about his human. The cats in the group lowered their heads in thought. Suddenly, Mistoffelees eyes sparkled.

"I think I have an idea."
