Just as Lila Rossi had promised, Marinette had lost all her friends and was almost alone. But for Adrien being Lila's, well that was the one person Marinette could count on. Adrien, also seeing through Lila's lies, had stuck by Marinette which had eventually led her to learn how to control her feelings around him and have normal conversations. But just 2 weeks after Lila's promise came through, the unthinkable happened.

Marinette walked up the stairs and into Francoise Dupont High School. As usual the school immediately started to buzz about her. She sighed and continued on her way to Mme. Bustier's class, flinching at all the death glares. And soon she was at her class door, stalling the moment she had to enter. When Marinette finally mustered up the courage to walk in the first thing she heard was, "Well if it isn't Ms. Jealous." Alya's words pierced Marinette as she continued up the stairs to the back. Marinette slumped in her seat when she noticed the whole classes eyes on her. But fortunately the arrival of Lila distracted everyone to break their gaze.

"Hi everyone!" Lila chirped.

"Hey Lila," the whole class chorused except for two people.

Chloe Bourgeois and Marinette Dupain-Cheng were anything but friends, so it came as surprise when Chloe gathered her things and left to sit next to Marinette. The whole class stared at her and only stopped when she snapped, "Well if you're gonna gossip might as well do it before Mme. Bustier gets here." So the class did, but Marinette kept staring. "What are you looking at Dupan-Cheng," Chloe said stiffly.

"Why are you sitting here. Next to me," spluttered Marinette, "You know the Liar."

Chloe scoffed, "Yeah right like I'd believe that snake. You may be annoying but you couldn't have done half the things Rossi claims you did."

Before Marinette could say a word, Chloe said, "Look I know we don't have the best relationship, but Ms. Manipulative Liar down there snatched Sabrina from me. Also, I'm ready to change and be friends." She stuck at her hand and softly asked, "Friends?"

Marinette looked at her hand for a second before reaching out and hugging her, "Friends." Chloe hugged her back before resuming her position, "Don't get used to it," She said trying to sound tough.

"Of course," Marinette giggled before reaching down for her sketchbook.

Lila entered the classroom and was extremely happy to see Marinette alone in the back.

"Hi everyone," She said. After getting her chorus of hellos back she went to sit next to Alya in Marinette's old seat.

"Hey girl," Alya said smiling at Lila.

"Hey Alya, where's Adrien?" Lila asked while scanning the classroom.

"He hasn't arrived yet. But about him, he's being brainwashed. He still thinks Mari-brat over there is innocent," Alya said while disgust laced her voice.

Before Lila could let out another fake fabulous story, she noticed Chloe standing up and sitting next to Marinette.

Hmm seems like Chloe isn't eating out of my hand like the others. No matter she's a mean girl no one believe her over me.

Lila turned her attention back to Alya just in time to hear her talk about babysitting her sisters together one day.

Adrien walked into his class just before Mme. Bustier was bound to get there. He looked over puzzled at Chloe and Marinette before his train of thought could be stopped by Lila jumping on him for a hug. After politely pushing her off he saw both girls simultaneously roll their eyes before laughing about it. He smiled glad that they were finally getting along and sat down next to Nino. He would have to talk to them during lunch.
