Empire of Lies

The Old World was dying, it had been so since the coming of the Chaos Gods.

For years beyond reckoning, the Ruinous Powers have coveted the mortal realm. They have made many attempts to seize it, their anointed champions leading vast hordes into the lands of men, elves and dwarfs. Each time, they have been defeated.

Until they won.

In the frozen north, Archaon, a former templar of the warrior-god Sigmar, had been crowned the Everchosen of Chaos. He soon marched south, bringing ruin to the lands he once fought to protect. Behind him amassed all the forces of the Dark Gods, mortal and daemonic. When they came, they brought with them a storm the likes of which had never been seen.

The lands of men fell into ruin. Archaon's vanguard ran riot across Kislev, the once-proud country of Bretonnia had fallen into anarchy, due to civil war and the southern lands had been consumed by a tide of verminous ratmen.

The men of the Empire, the elves of Ulthuan and the dwarfs of the Worlds Edge Mountains fortified their cities and prepared for the inevitable onslaught. They fought bravely and tenaciously. But in their hearts, all knew that their efforts will be futile. The victory of Chaos was inevitable.

The End Times had come.

But the victory of the Dark Gods was not absolute in the eleventh hour a miracle occurred, a castle built on a flying island appeared out in the horizon before Archaon's triumphant horde at the Battle of Middenheim and shoot out a golden light that seemed to banish, all those touched by the hand of Chaos. Before any soul could cheer such a miraculous turn of events, a blinding white light blanked every corner of the Empire not touched by Chaos or darkness then spirited it away to a new world.

Once the light dissipated the flying castle landed before the stunned Imperial survivors and lowered a drawbridge. Out walked a single man and, in his hands, he held the ancient weapon Ghal-Maraz the legendary hammer of Sigmar Heldenhammer, thought lost after the death of Emperor Karl Franz. At the sight of the holy hammer every single man be they noble or commoner fell to a knee and knelled before the man.

That man's name was Felix Jaeger.

Chapter 1: An Unexpected Journey

Felix Jaeger could not explain why he had awoken so early in the morning and dressed himself in his old traveling clothes, that he had once worn when he had been off adventuring with Gotrek in the Old World.

Those days were over with and gone. They have been so for a very long time. It had been thirty-five years since his adventuring days concluded with his friend's demise.

Yet for some inexplicable reason Felix had put on his old brown leather boots, gloves, a white and blue stripe trouser, a white long sleeve shirt that covered the chain-mail underneath, a brown leather breastplate, black steel plate shoulder guards and a red cloak. His frame was adorned with brown harnesses and belts. As a result, his frame was armed to the teeth with blades and pistols, notably one large longsword with a dragon-headed pommel on his waist.

It felt good to hold Karaghul in his hands after so long. Even if it was just for nostalgia.

Felix stared at his reflection on the mirror before him and narrowed his eyes deep in thought there was something off about his image, "I never used pistols before…or did I? "

He honesty couldn't remember, whether or not he had ever used firearms during his travels in the Old World. As the years went by Felix found he was having trouble recalling more and more the memories of what he referred to as his old life.

Which came as no surprise since Felix was seventy-eight years of age, although he didn't look it or feel his age. Have the appearance and vigor of a youth of twenty years, none would believe Felix if he had revealed his true age.

Not that he could tell anyone his real age.

A load yawn interrupted his thoughts and Felix turned towards the large bed in his room. Under white sheets a beautiful young woman with light skin, amber color eyes and short violet hair woke up. She wore an iron collar and gold earrings. Her clothes were laying spread out on the floor knee-high boots, thigh-high stocking and detached sleeves all purple. She wore a purple strapless leotard with her back and legs exposed and a 'V' shaped opening down her chest and stomach.

Before Felix could wish her a good morning, she pulled the sheets off her nude frame, placed two feet on the tile floor, stood up and began to stretch.

It never ceased to amaze Felix how shapely and voluptuous the women of this world are. They far surpassed the women of the Empire.

The woman did chest and shoulder stretches with her back turned to him. Which gave Felix a perfect view of her round firm caboose.

Even though they had gotten acquainted with each other intimately last night. Felix couldn't help but silently admired the women's frame. His eyes roamed over every inch of her flawless figure. Her breasts were very large, perky and tight and she had full hips.

She hadn't mention payment once throughout their time together, but Felix knew she was a prostitute. For one her outfit was scandalous it showed off too much skin. It was made to draw the attention of the opposite sex. She had also been aggressively forward almost lewd even as she pursued him to the point Felix thought he could have uttered no words between them and he still would have awakened up beside her the next morning.

She hadn't given her name or even asked Felix for his.

Tell-tail signs of a lady of the night.

Soon his purse will be light as coins changed hands…

Felix's eyes went wide as bat like wings and a fork- tail sprouted from her back. And that wasn't all on her head horns appeared. She bent over and went about collecting her clothes off the floor. As she grabbed the last piece of her attire, she caught sight of Felix out the corner of her eye.

Just like him a moment ago her eyes widened in shock, "Your still alive!? "

"U-Um…"

The former poet blinked stunned and slightly confused. Stunned that the women he had slept with last night was…. Well he didn't know exactly what she was.

Mutant? Sorceress? She could have been anyone of those things or something else entirely. This world and its inhabitants were still a mystery to Felix and everyone else in the Empire.

"No way! "The creature yelled out in disbelief and let go of her clothes, " I'm sure. I sucked every drop out of you last night. "

Bewildered and embarrassed at the creature's statement. Felix could not form the words for a replay. It was clear she expected him to no long be among the living, but Felix couldn't think of any method she might have used to end his life last night.

Poison?

No that couldn't be. Felix hadn't eaten or drink anything throughout their time together. And if she had administered poison by some other more subtle means; Why would she had been so insistent on sleeping with him?

Wait. She brought up sucking something out of him last night, but the only thing she got out of Felix was," A-Are saying you though performing… fellatio on me would kill me?"

"Yes! " The creature answered nodding her head profusely. "You should have turned into a husk after I gave you a blow job or after we stopped having sex. When you blew your load inside of me. "That's how things always work when a succubus fucks a mortal. She took him to heaven in exchange for semen. It wasn't her species fault mortal races had so little semen that they die when her kind feed on them. This situation was really anomalous. This shouldn't be happening.

Unless.

A thought came to the her, that made sense of the whole odd situation she now found herself in. It explained why the man in front of her was still alive and not a shriveled-up husk laying on the bed. It also cleared up why she had enjoyed the sex so much to the point of passing out.

Plus, his semen had been the most delicious jeez she had ever tasted. And Shahar Shamsiel had tasted a lot of jeez over the years.

The creature fluttered her wings then took to the air and in an eye blink she was floating above Felix her face inches away from his head. She quickly began to sniff him as she were some kind of canine.

It took Felix a few seconds to notice what was happening as he was too enthralled by the large bosom directly in front of his face, but once he broke free from their bewitching allure, he hurriedly took several steps backs and placed a hand on the hilt of Karaghul. It was then that he noticed the creature was smiling madly.

It was also when Felix first saw her sharp fangs and short pointy ears.

"Oooohhhh! " Shahar shrieked out excitedly as her intuition had been proven correct. Honestly, she couldn't believe she hadn't noticed it sooner when they first met yesterday. All the signs had been there. Then again it was so far fetch that until she had seen him still breathing post-coitus with her own two eye's it never would have crossed her mind otherwise. "What a wonderful treasury I happened upon. Coohoo. This is going to be so much fun; the others are going be so jealous when they find out."

Felix did not fancy her words and made it known by drawing Karaghul from its scabbard. The creature in turn shot something from her index fingertip and his grip on his sword suddenly felt strange. Looking down at his hands Felix gasped as his brown leather gloves had somehow been replaced by red wool mittens decorated with white snowflakes.

"Oops. That wasn't supposed to happen, " Shahar had meant to transform his sword into a giant carrot. Not exchange one pair of gloves for another. "Let's try this again. "

Felix had no intention of giving the monster another chance to try whatever ploy she had in mind so charged forward with the aim of separating her head from her neck. He had made it within striking distance in just a few steps, but before Felix could swing his sword the creature snapped her fingers.

"Whaaa! I-I can't move! "Felix yelled out frozen in place blade behind his shoulders ready to strike out in a horizontal arc.

"If you're gonna swing your sword, I prefer the other one you swung last night. " Shahar said wiggling her right index finger as if she were scolding a child whom she had caught doing something naughty.

"Wh-What are you? "

Really? He still didn't know? The tail, wings, horns and her salacious nature didn't tip him off to what she really was? "It's obvious Isn't it, I'm a succubus, " Shahar dropped to the floor took a single step forward and wrapped her arms around Felix's neck. "And you and me handsome are going to be spending a lot of time together from now on. "Most of that time she planned on spending it having sex. "The name's Shahar Shamsiel by the way. "

A succubus? A daemon in female form. He had intercourse with such a creature, Felix recoiled in disgust. He would never manage to wash away the shame he now felt coursing through his soul. It had been stained forevermore. If this ever got out to the Imperial masses it would cause no end of trouble for him… and his master's regime.

Weird thought Shahar as she stared at Felix's repulse face, she had not been expecting that expression out of him. Fear, yes. Anxiety, yes. Maybe even some anger, but certainly not repulsion. "Maybe his thinking I'll force him to do some really kinky sex things like BDSM. "

She was about to reassure him that she wasn't going to force him to do anything that he found to be weird when a ray of sunlight crossed her face. Shielding her eyes with her right arm, Shahar tilted her head to the large windows in the room and to her horror found that the sun had fully risen.

"Shit, " Shahar cursed comprehending what that meant. She was late. She should have been gone hours ago preparing for the queen's assignment which kicked off at the crack of dawn.

Ready to play her part in the great scheme.

Shahar had been told time and time again to not be late for months, yet it was now while pass dawn. She already knew she was in for an earful when she arrived. With a little luck perhaps, that would be all she was in for.

If she wasn't her head might soon grace the pointy end of a spike.

Turning her head back to the man Shahar had one arm coiled around his neck and gave him a mournful smile, "Sorry handsome, but we'll have pick this up another time. Duty calls unfortunately, but don't pout. I'll be back soon. I promise. "

Felix was about to replay that if he ever saw her again, he would kill her when she suddenly started to fade out and a moment later his vision began to go dark then everything went dark,

XxX

(Location Unknown)

His vision returned as suddenly as it had gone and what Felix saw was foreign to him.

"By Sigmar! " Felix cried out he was no longer in his personal quarters but in some strange hallway.

Without warning the building shook as if it had been struck by something. Spotting a window with its glass shattered all over the floor, Felix quickly walked over towards its cracking glass beneath his boots along the way. Reaching the window, he popped his head outside to take a look.

What he saw left him dumbstruck.

Felix was inside a large fortress made from black stone that was currently being besieged by an army of black leather clad barbarian's alongside legions of monsters. He could see this worlds version of orcs, goblins, ogres and trolls marching besides pig-man, werewolves, centaurs, ghouls, cyclopes and other scores of monsters Felix had never seen before and considering his past that did not bode well for him or the fortress inhibitions.

For a moment flashbacks of previous battles, he'd lived through raced through Felix's mind. The Siege of Praag in Kislev against Chaos lead by Arek Daemonclaw. The Battle of Nuln against the Skaven lead by that bastard Grey Seer Thanquol and the Fall of Altdorf against Nurgle's Chaos forces lead by the Glottkin and a dozen other battles and sieges passed through his eye's.

Felix couldn't explain why but he felt more alive now right this very moment then he had ever felt in thirty-five long years.

Perhaps it was simply nostalgia. Or perhaps he was thankful for being given another chance to relive his adventuring days again. Or perhaps Felix's was just thankful to be of use and do some real good again.

It's been so long since he knew what that felt like.

Whoever this fortress belonged to they were clearly fighting a losing battle against a legion of evil. Felix wondered if the fortress commander would mind one more sword added to his disposal?

The sound of steel clashing against steel echoed throughout the hallway followed by shouts and screams.

His mind made up Felix Jaeger ran towards the sound of battle sword in hand, smiling madly and giving thanks to whichever god or gods gifted him this boon.

It did not take him long to find the fray a few halls across from where he had been. A dozen tan skin barbarian's with either swords or axes fought against fifteen women and a single old man with spears, swords and shields.

To his surprise the women and the old man where elves with various shades of brown skin. They were trying to stay in a phalanx formation but a wild charge from a massive club wielding ogre broke their formation. The ogre's charge was imminently followed by a mad dash by the barbarians who rushed in to prevent the elves from reforming.

Split apart the elves fought individually, in pairs or in small groups against their savage opponents. A pair of barbarians pulled down an elf and began to strip her plate armor off of her frame. One held her down with both arms as she struggled to break free while the other went about removing pieces of armor.

Whatever doubt Felix might have had on whether or not he had been right to arbitrarily liable the barbarians as villains were dispelled at that very moment.

Without hesitation Felix ran towards the pair who didn't see him coming being too preoccupied with their tasks. His first swing chopped off the head of the man removing the elf's armor at the median of the neck. A fountain of blood sprayed out from the beheaded man's body. Taken by complete surprise at his friends' sudden violent death the other man dithered and lost both arms because of it. He fell to the floor screaming in agony as blood sprayed from his severed arms until Felix mercifully ended his life with a thrust of Karaghul through his heart.

The woman stared up at Felix bewildered at his sudden appearance but he paid her no mind and left to stab a man holding an axe who had cornered an elf with a leg wound.

He caught one more barbarian by surprise then his presence had become known to all, a man with a thick black beard with a broadsword charged him. Felix easily sidestepped the man's wild swing and removed the man's right hand with his own. The man's screams were quickly silenced by a deep slash to his chest.

Every pair of eyes in the hallway locked on to the former poet who covered in blood and smiling wildly cast a grim sight.

Two man broke off their duels with their elven opponents and charged him. In an eye blink Felix removed two throwing knives from his frame and threw them at the charging pair. Both hit their intended marks. One landed on a stomach and the other found its way towards a right eye.

Both men fell to the floor one dead the other not far behind.

A loud bestial roar filled the hallway followed by a thunderous sound of heavy feet hitting tile. Felix turned and found the ogre from before bolting right towards him. Everyone in or near the ogre's path wisely made themselves scarce all save for Felix who calmly stood his ground and reached for a specific tool on his frame.

*BANG!*

A gunshot rang out and a two-inch hole appeared on the ogre's forehead. Carried by the momentum of the charge the creature gave a few more steps then tumbled to the floor dead. The fall of such a heavy creature shook the ground and broke every single tile under or near its large bulk.

At the sight of the ogre's demise the remaining barbarians lost heart and fled. One of whom had the misfortune of getting too close to Felix and got his left leg chopped off for it, followed by the pointy end of Karaghul thrust through his thyroid.

In less than fifteen minutes he had killed seven man and an ogre.

By Sigmar. He was out of shape thought Felix placing the flint pistol back in its proper place. Back in the old days Felix would have ranked up a tally twice that number. Why he remembered a time when…

The sound of armored feet brought Felix back to the present. The surviving elves had converged around him for some reason, out of the sixteen he had found when he had arrived only thirteen remained. One of whom was an old man with a worn-out wrinkled face, a scar on his left cheek and a short white beard. He along with the other elves was covered head to toe in plate armor with visor less helmets.

Even if they had worn visors Felix would have still been able to tell that the others were women because their armor had clearly been crafted with the female shape in mind.

"Thank you, stranger, " The old man said and held out a hand. "If you did not arrive when you did, we would have perished at the hands of those Black Dog bastards. "The man glanced at one of the women and Felix realized she was the one he had saved from being raped earlier. "Or worse. Names Alban by the way. "

"Felix, "He told the man while shaking his hand. "This might sound strange, but could you tell me where I am? "As he had expected Alban looked at him incredulously. "I-I didn't come her by choose a succubus brought me here. "

"A succubus? " Alban asked startled then a look of realization dawned on him. "That would explain why all our male senior officers and commandeers never reported for duty this morning…. Damnit all. Her majesties magic should have prevented that from happening. "

"Her majesty? "

Alban shoot him a strange look but then quickly remembered what Felix had told him. "Oh, that's right. You don't know where you are. Well my friend am pleased to be the first to welcome you to the Black Fortress located in the glorious Kingdom of Garan. Unfortunately, if Celestine's dogs get their way it won't be ours for much longer. "

Garan? The name was familiar to him but Felix couldn't place where he had heard it before. Perhaps during a trade meeting or a previous diplomatic mission.

"Alban! "

Everyone turned as a short young Dark Elf woman with light brown skin and long blonde hair tied into a side ponytail came racing towards them from up the hall. She wore scaled amour and leather. Two sheathes of knives hung at her slender waist.

She came to a stop in front of Alban and immediately dark red eyes glared hatefully at him. " What's the meaning of this? " She pointed at Felix. "What is this human doing here and why haven't you killed him yet? "

Alban patted the woman on the head, "Because little Chloe it would be extremely rude to kill someone after they had just saved your life. " The woman blinked astound but quickly recovered her composure and pushed Morgan's hand away from her head.

"Are you saying this human saved your life? " Chloe asked certain that she must have miss heard Alban. It was ludicrous to think that a human would aid a Dark Elf. Most likely the human wanted them alive so he could sell them all later to slavers.

"That's what I said. Now quit wasting time girl. What did the queen send you here for? " Alban replied he like everyone else in the Black Fortress knew Chloe never left the queen's side unless it was for something important.

Chloe bristled at his disrespectful tone but suppressed her urge to yell at him this was not the time for it, "The queen orders you to return to the throne room. Assassins nearly ended our queen's life. "

Everyone save for Alban and Felix gasped at the news. The audacity of the Black Dogs truly knows no bounds. To attempt an assassination of the queen at the heart of the Black Fortress the Dark Elves most heavily defended stronghold that had withstood countless sieges over the centuries since the very start of war was audacious.

Alban took the news in stride, "You have to hand it to Vault he's an ambitious prick. "

"Vault? " Felix asked joining the conversation.

Chloe was about to tell the human to remain quit but Alban spoke first, " The leader of the Black Dogs and Celestine's personal attack dog. "

Felix had never heard of this man Vault or his Black Dogs warband until now. However, the name Celestine had a familiar ring to him, but yet again Felix couldn't place where he had heard it before.

"We're wasting time conversing with brute's the queen needs us. Now!" Chloe said impatiently eager to return to her queen's side and away from this strange human.

Alban nodded in agreement, "Aye, girl she does. "He turned to look at Felix, "I'm sorry to ask you this since you have no stake in this fight, but do you think you could help us out one more time sire. Will pay you for your aid of course. "

"What! "The blond elf shout out incensed.

Everyone including Felix ignored her outburst, " My sword is yours for as long as I am able to help. "He was perplexed when everyone save Alban starred in disbelief at Felix as if they had trouble believing what they had just seen.

The Dragon Slayer did not know it but Felix had become the first human in centuries since the war began to aid the Dark Elves. The sight before the elves very eyes was so abnormal many had thought it mere fantasy to think that a human would aid a Dark Elf in need.

And yet here was one now offering to help.

Stoically Alban thanked Felix then told him to follow them to the queen's Thorn Room with a nod from Felix they were off.

The Black Fortress was a labyrinth its hallways seemed to stretch for miles. As he ran besides the elves Felix noticed the magic coursing through the place, it was this worlds magic not the one from the Old World. He had been told magic here was different, Felix didn't know how that could be but he trusted the Supreme Patriarch's words when he said it was.

The hallway they were in came to an end and the group came before a pair of wooden great doors painted black. This had to be the throne room Felix thought as Chloe pushed open the left side door and stepped inside quickly followed by the others.

The throne room was expansive. Black banners with a golden eye in the center hung on the walls on each side of the room the elegant emblem of Garan shown proudly. Seated on a throne curved from obsidian was a queenly figure, a woman of great beauty.

Cold amber eyes observed the group. The woman stood to her impressive height of six feet. She had brown skin and long locks of lavish black hair that nearly reached the stone floor. She wore an outfit that only covered parts of her large breasts and stomach, detached sleeves and thigh-high stockings all purple. A black thong. A long cloak that was black on the outside with gold lining on the edges and red on the inside. Black heels and a white crown on top of her head. Three golden earrings hung from each of her long ears.

She was covered in sweat and although she tried to mask it exhausted. In the middle of the room two figures spaced apart from each other with bat like wings, a tail and horns slowly burned away.

The smell of burning flesh was overwhelming.

"My queen. I have brought Alban as you commanded," Chloe stated when she entered then hurriedly made her way to her queens' side.

Felix did not pay attention to the monarchs replay instead he made his way to the closest of the two burning figures and tried to discern whether or not either of the two had been the succubus who had brought him here.

They were both female, but beyond that they were so heavily burn that recognizing details was next to impossible.

One of the two Felix knew couldn't have been the daemon from before being too tall, but the other figure could have been her. It had the right height, frame, and breast size.

So perhaps the only witness to his shame was no more. Felix could only hope.

The sound of someone clearing their throat loudly caused him to turn towards the throne. The elves where all staring at him, the one called Chloe looked furious for some reason.

It was there queen who spoke first, "Now that I have your attention human." Her voice was husky and enchanting. She started at Felix with haughty, listless eyes." Alban tells me you aided him and offered to aid him again in my defense. "She paused then took a deep breath as if she were about to say something, she would have preferred not to have said. "On behalf of Garan and its people the Dark Elves, I Olga Discordia…. Thank you. "

For the third time today, Felix felt as if he had heard the name Olga Discordia before, but yet again he could not place where he had heard it.

"You should kneel human, you're before the Queen of Garan, " Chloe stated haughtily.

Without a second of hesitation Felix said, "A ruler does not kneel before another ruler. That would make him a vassal and The Emperor of Man is no one's vassal. "

Everyone went silent until Chloe broke out in a fit of laugher, "Hahaha! Y-You some vagabond…hahaha...claim to be an emperor. And am a goddess in mortal flesh."

The others didn't blatantly ridicule Felix's claim like Chloe had done but it was clear to see none of them believed him. Felix didn't care if they did or did not at the end of the day, he was still the Emperor of The Empire of Man whatever they thought of him.

The blond elf went quite as the sound of marching feet rang out.

The doors to the room slammed opened and a large mob of man, orcs and goblins stormed into the room. At the front of this mob was a giant of a man with short black hair, tan skin and thick bulging muscles who wore a black cap, pieces of leather and plate armor and held a great sword in one hand.

"Finally! "The man bellowed a cocky grin on his face, " You wouldn't believe the trouble. I had to go through to get here, but you know. I just had to come here and see the beautiful face of the Dark Queen with my own two eyes."

The Dark Elves glared at the man spite in their features, while Felix looked at the man perplexed wondering who he was. Could he be this Vault person Morgan mentioned or one of his lieutenants?

Alban snarled at the man, " Vault you piece of shit. I guess it was too much to hope for that someone would have gotten lucky and killed you by now. "

Oh, he was.

"Lady Fortune loves me old man, " Vault answered arrogantly then grabbed his crotch. " Just like your daughter loves my cock. "

Enraged Alban moved to confront the man but Felix placed a hand on his right shoulder and held him in place, a second later two of Alban's subordinates also grabbed hold of him.

"Who the fuck are you blondie? " Vault asked pointing at Felix's with his great sword. "The queens boy toy? And here I thought Dark Elves didn't willingly fuck humans. Ha!"

At his vulgar jest all of his man laughed out loud even the orcs and goblins joined in, while the elves became infuriate at the suggestion of their queen doing such a thing. Specially Chole.

Olga narrowed her eye's at Vault, but otherwise did nothing. She had exhausted too much of her magic and energy combating those succubus's earlier and was now spent.

Like with the elves Felix told Vault who he was, "I'm Felix Jaeger. The Emperor of The Empire of Man and you would do will to remember that as you speak to me. "And similarly, to Chloe they all broke out in a fit of laugher.

As the barbarian's laughed and the elves looked on uneasy a voice spoke to Felix from inside his own mind, "Return. Now."

Felix sighed at the command which meant he could not participate in the obvious battle that was to come. And to make matters worse he'll have to broke his word to Morgan of aiding him…

Or did he?

An idea came to Felix then and there which would allow him to keep his word. However, for his plan to work he would need the queen's cooperation.

Turning to face Olga Discordia who was still sitting on her throne, Felix began to slowly walk towards her, "Your majesty you may doubt the validity off my words but I am the head of a sovereign state. "Felix gestured for everyone to gather close to him and the throne and to his amazement they complied. "I can get you and everyone out of here alive and even give you sanctuary in my country if you desire it, but you'll need to trust me and do as I say. What say you?"

What would she say?

That the man before her very eye's was deluded with the worst case of delusion of grandeur she had ever seen before in her century's long life. That is what she would say under normal circumstances but these were not normal circumstances. She was exhausted, outnumbered and most of her force's were either dead, captured, or had fled.

In short, Olga was desperate.

Even if it was fools hope it was better than nothing. Plus, grasping at straws never hurt anyone they were just futile.

"Very well, human. I agree, " Olga said fully expecting nothing to come about from this, it at least was a welcome distraction from her inevitable death.

Felix smiled then closed his eyes and spoke words in a language none have ever heard before then held out an arm and…

Absolutely nothing happened.

Chloe who had been standing next to her queen and had heard everything Felix said placed both hands on her hips and scoffed, "Is that it? "

"Wait for it, " Felix muttered.

Suddenly the room became filled with the sound of crackling electricity followed by a loud boom and then a blast of white energy appeared in the space in front of Felix inches away from his out stretched arm. The energy quickly took on a circular shape.

Each person in the throne room save Felix stared dumbstruck at the portal. They had never seen such a thing before.

Feeling vindicated Felix turned to look at the elves, and became delighted at there wide eyed, open mouthed and dumbfounded faces.

"What's everyone waiting for? I already invited you all. Get in."

The Dark Elves looked at each other then at Felix then at the portal then repeated the pattern two more times before Felix got fed up with their inaction grabbed the nearest elf near him which happened to be Alban and threw him through the portal followed swiftly by another elf who also happened to be standing close to him.

"You either walk through or I throw you in choose, "Felix told them.

Needing no more encouragement and not wanting to be tossed by Felix the elves dashed towards the portal.

"Stop them! " Vault bellowed livid that his prize would escape him now when he had come so close. Like a spell being lifted the mob came to life and charged.

It was too late.

Everyone saves for Felix, Olga and Chloe had pass through the portal and soon they too would…

Olga tripped on her heels as she ran and Chole seeing her queen fall turned to help her liege.

The mob was almost upon them.

Realizing they were almost out of time Felix grasped each woman by an arm and pulled each one over his shoulders. Olga his left and Chloe his right. Then with every ounce of strength Felix could summon he leap through the portal.

As soon as he had passed through the portal collapsed in on itself and ceased to be like Felix knew it always did. As soon as the maker of the portal stepped through the portal would instantly end. Why that was Felix didn't now and didn't care.

"Fiend! " Chloe yelled straight into Felix's right ear. "How dare you lay your filthy hands on the queen and me! "

Felix opened his eyes and found he was laying on top of both Olga and Chole with a hand on each of their breasts. He hadn't noticed it because of the wool mittens he had on. Realizing this Felix instinctually made the worst move he could have made in that situation.

He squeezed.

Simultaneously Olga and Chloe let out a moan, then went red in the face and glared at him.

"…Um"

He didn't know what to say at that moment, but Chloe had no such problem, "I hope that was worth losing your life over. " The blonde elf reached for the hilt of the knife on her left side on her waist. She pulled the knife free, then went to stab Felix's neck only for a hand to grab her wrist followed be a leather boot being placed on top of her shoulder.

"Drop the knife or I cut your hand off. "

Three pairs of eyes glazed upwards to find a short dark half-elf woman with light brown skin, short black hair and amber eyes. She wore white thigh-high stockings which were connected by strips to a revealing white and purple outfit that didn't cover her legs and left most of her stomach, back, rump, waist and neck exposed. She wore purple fingerless gloves, brown open-toe leather boots and a brown collar.

In one hand she held Chloe's hand in place and in the other she held a long wicked looking knife.

Prevented from moving her arm and seeing no way out of this predicament Chole let go of the knife. It fell to the floor and was instantly kicked out of her reach by the short black haired half elf.

"Good. Before you get up remove your other knife from its sheath and throw it away. As far away as your scrawny arms can throw. "

"And If I refuse? " Chloe asked wincing from the pressure on her shoulder. It was really starting to hurt. The black-haired elf might be short and most likely didn't weighted much but she weighed enough to dislocate her shoulder if she wanted to.

"If you don't you and your friends will taste the cold kiss of imperial steel. " The black-haired elf answered then pointed behind her with her right thumb.

Chloe and Olga looked where the half elf pointed and found Alban and the others on there knees with there hands above there heads as sixty men in white and red heraldry covered head to toe in plat armor pointed swords, war hammers, axes or morning stars at them.

Not wanting for things to escalate Felix took his hand off of Olga's breast pushed himself up reached for Chloe's remaining knife, pulled it out of its sheath, then threw it away. It bounced off a stone wall then landed on top of a white fur rug.

"That's enough Luca. You can let her go now," Felix told his retainer. " Also remove you boot from her shoulder. It looks like it's starting to hurt. "

Luca did as her lord commanded and let go of the blonde elf's hand and took her foot off. Then she offered her hand to Felix which he took she pulled and he pushed then he was standing. "You gave us quite the scare when we found your room empty this morning. I thought at first you had gone elsewhere with that lady you brought aboard, but then I notice that Karaghul was missing and I feared the worst… so I call him. "

Felix wished she hadn't done that latter part, but in the end it all worked out, "You did the right thing Luca. Well done. "

Still laying on the floor Chloe and Olga glanced at each other as the elf name Luca beamed intently from a simple complement. Then the pair glanced around where they were.

They were inside a massive room filled with banners the most prevalent being a red banner with an emblem of a skull encircled by green laurels tied together by a yellow string below the base of the skull. Behind the skull was a black iron cross, to its right was a yellow parchment with words written on it in a language neither elf knew.

As Olga sat upright on her knees on the ground a group of knights walked over towards the blonde human with the blue eyes who had saved her and the others.

One of the knights in the group shouted, "Reiksguard our Emperor has returned! "

At the knight's declaration a mighty cheer went out from all who had heard him.

Olga eyes went wide as recognition set in of all the man's claims. They were all true. He wasn't delusional. He hadn't told a single lie.

He was an emperor.

He was the head of a sovereign state.

He had saved all their lives.

And she had allowed her subjects to ridicule him.

Thinking quickly Olga came up with a means to smooth over any grievances the man named Felix might possess due to the discourtesy shown to him by her and her people. With a little luck Olga might salvage the situation to her benefit.

"Sire Felix, " Olga called out to the man, he turned towards her instantly, she then raised an arm up. "I find myself unable to raise off the floor. Could you please help me? "

Olga saw Chole was about to intervene, no doubt to aide her to stand herself, but a stern glare from her caused the half-elf to remain where she was. A few seconds later a red wool mitten covered hand grabbed her hand and pull her off the floor.

"Thank you sire," Olga began. " And please accept our deepest apologies for our incivility towards you. The manner of your unannounced arrival and the Black Dogs assault caused us to behave in a manner most unbecoming to how we normally acquit ourselves around guests. "

Olga was relieved when the man accepted her apology amiably, once he had finished speaking, she pressed on, "You offered me the option of sanctuary in your realm if I wished it. I accept your offer sire. " She bowed, " On behalf of the Kingdome of Garan and its people we thank you for your aide and hospitality."

As soon as Felix told the Dark Elf Queen, she was welcome to stay for as long as she thought was necessary, Felix knew he had committed some horrible mistake. Luca suddenly grabbed his hand and dragged him into a private room nearby away from the elves and the others.

"Did she say: The Kingdome of Garan? " Luca asked alarmed.

"Yes. "

At his replay Luca placed both hands on her face, " …. Felix. That's the kingdom currently at war with the Kingdom of Eostia… the country we're on our way to broker diplomatic and trade relations with. "

Although far too late, Felix now remembered where he had heard all those names he couldn't recall. It was before the start of their journey weeks ago in New Erengrad, an imperial emissary sent to a land called Eos had just returned days prior from visiting the nations found in those lands. The emissary had managed to get these states to agree to official lines of communication between themselves and the Empire of Man.

However, one nation in Eos deviated on what a country traditional does when they agree to open relations between nations. Instead of just exchanging official representatives to each other. The largest and most powerful country in Eos asked for a meeting between their heads of state.

That country was called the Kingdom of Eostia.

That request had been made by the monarch of Eostia herself.

Queen Celestine Lucross.

And Felix had just granted sanctuary to her enemy.

I've thought about doing this for a while, and I finally decided to give it a go.

I love the old Warhammer Fantasy before GW replaced it with Age of Sigmar. I also loved Kuroinu so one night. Out of the blue I thought to myself: "A cross over story involving my favorite character from Warhammer Fantasy and Kuroinu would be awesome."

Well here's the product of that idea.

Now, you guys should now this story will not be limited to just Warhammer Fantasy and Kuroinu characters. As some of you would no doubt have noticed I already used two characters from neither of those two series. I'll list down below who they are and from what franchise they belong to. Anyways, the reason why am using characters from other games (that match the setting) is to set up the world building in the story. Kuroinu is an amazing game for a H-series, but like most games of its kind it lacks in realism, the background setting for why everything is happening is bare bones and often doesn't make sense.

I'll give you an example.

The Seven Shields Alliance in total have seven cities all of whom have high epic stone walls are well defended with towers, inner walls with more towers, gatehouses with openings called murder holes where the defenders could drop objects like hot oil or water. The buildings in each of these cities are massive and could be easily be fortified in case the walls are breached. The streets and alleyways are narrow. In short each city in Eostia has been designed meticulously in a military sense which would have caused a large well trained and equipped army massive casualties if they had tried to take just a single city by force of arms.

The Black Dogs are not a well trained and equipped army. There peasants who can't afford armor. I had to give them leather armor to make this story more believable instead of the black shirt and pants clothing they all wear.

And yet the Black Dogs take each city in a short amount of time, hell Feoh was taken in half a day at most and all they had to do was blow up one gate, with as far as I can tell no backup plan. They had no siege equipment so if plan A didn't work they would have all been screwed. Yea, that's not how sieges work in real life. Even if you do manage to get inside a fortress city you still had to deal with the keep where the commander or ruler of the fortress will be with more troops on hand.

A bunch of peasant mercenary's with little to no armor who have only ever fought monsters and likely never made a catapult, siege tower, sap tunnels, even basic ladders would have a very hard time actually attempting to siege a city with the sorts of defenses in place the SSA was shown to have.

And don't you dare bring up magic they only used magic once to take one city and that was it. And it was near the end of the game. Plus, it was implied magic wasn't that common in this world. Only four people could use magic in the game.

And I know Alicia surrendered her city that was one case. And a really bad one at that. Which reeked of force plot development.

The Alliance had actual armored knights aside from the Princess Knights, levies from the common folk and enough population and cities that a mercenary army should not have been able to conquer them all even with traitors. Which begs the question of why do we never see any of the other cities sending aid to the city that's being besieged? The Black Dogs only attack one city at a time. Even if they had taken a city from the SSA you just don't allow an invader to consolidate in your territory until his good and ready to attack your next settlement.

Really most of the VN is pure fantasy since some of the ways they take the cities would not have gone down the way they did in reality. You pretty much have to buff the Black Dogs when writing about them since they actually don't seem that strong when you look at all information given.

Honestly, the Black Dog's even winning is ridiculous to begin with.

The more you think about it the harder it is for Vault and the Black Dogs to conceivably actually winning gets. Especially since Vault went full moron and announced publicly he was building a Sex Empire from day one. Telling other countries you are planning an empire is a good way to get them instantly hostile towards you. Especially if you tell them you are planning on raping every woman too and a bunch of these in game surrounding countries are ruled by women and(It was implied that in this world females greatly outnumbered males in the VA) populated mostly by if not all female. You gotta sneak an empire up on people. They can't know when you're still weak what you are planning because they will all just immediately declare war to take you out before you become a problem.

That is what history has shown use time and time again.

Another thing, I'll try to expand upon is the other countries in the game that for some reason where ignored in the first game but then introduced in the second Kuroinu. I hope you guys like geopolitics.

Also, I should warn you guys this story touch's on topics some people might have problems with or find distasteful.

Am also a fan of grim dark...Am a Warhammer fan after all.

Not: Inspired by 'The Night Unfurls' written by StaffSergeant. Which is an amazing story you guys should go read it when you have the time.
