(Narrator POV)

"Tucker! Don't do this!" Dryly huffed Danny, his eyes filled with completely fear as his best friend was in front of him, his arm drawn back as his own eyes showed no remorse for what he was about to do to Danny, years of friendship had led towards this. "After everything we've been through, you would really do this!" Uncomfortably yelled Danny, his right eye flickered slightly since it hurt Danny to keep it fully open, and Danny couldn't focus on anyone else but Tucker.

"I'm sorry Danny, but this is the way the world spins." Emotionlessly informed Tucker, his PDA was on the ground a bit away from him, before Tucker's right hand slammed down, and pulled away. "Plus 4! I change it to green!" Excitedly cheered Tucker, only for Sam to slam her last card down a second later with a gleeful smile on her face.

"I win again!" Happily cheered Sam, making both of the teenage boys groan in annoyance at Sam's fourth win in a row, all the while Tucker would take away Danny's chance of winning, and accidentally giving Sam the win. "Now, 30 push-ups from each of you." Victoriously commanded Sam, Danny didn't even complain at this point as he simply adjusted himself and started doing his push-ups, while hearing the struggling grunts from Tucker.

Danny couldn't help but t let his mind wander back to the dance, the night when he was sucker punched by Dash, had a dark impulse of hitting the guy with an Ectoplasmic infused fist, only to be punched once again by the teen. Had things remained okay after that... the answer no, since things escalated rapidly once Mr Lancer got involved, and it was safe to say that Dash was not fond of his existence at this point, but there was a positive that came out of that night.

"Danny... do you wanna stop now? You're making Tucker feel bad." Awkwardly hummed Sam, watching as Danny came to a stop after doing 60 push-ups within the minute, only for Danny to blink wearily as he sat back up. "So what do you guys wanna do now? I'm kinda bored after beating you guys so many times." Hauntingly questioned Sam, the faint quirk of a smile could be seen on her face, just as a piece of blue mist escaped Danny's mouth.

"It's in the basement... I'll be back in a few minutes." Awkwardly coughed Danny, allowing the white rings of energy to crackle over his body before he activated both [Intangibility] and [Invisibility], causing Danny Phantom to drop through his bedroom floor.

Danny's feet slammed into the cool metallic floor of the basement, leaping towards the left when a green glow flashed before him, barely avoiding a shot from one of his parents weapons, making Danny deadpan at his trigger happy dad. Toxic green eyes blinked slowly as they spotted the Ghost in question, who was calmly floating around and admiring the weapons, not really doing much but to be safe, Danny used [Observe].

The Ghost was male, taller looked to be around the 6 foot mark, with green skin, and pale white hair that gently floated upwards that had the odd crackle go through it. A pair of rectangular sunglasses rested upon the Ghost's forehead, barely revealing his red eyes. He wore a white collared shirt and black tie, a white lab coat with a green belt, and green gloves, his coat also tapered off into a wispy ghostly tail.

"Hey, can we help you?" Slowly questioned Danny, appearing calm as he realized that this Ghost was a bit more powerful than he was use too, and that his core typing was quite pesky to deal with. "I'm Danny Phantom, and I'll say it is nice to meet you if you're not here to cause havoc." Politely introduced Danny, he wasn't going to jump into action since he could do with some allies, and his parents had his back, then the Ghost focused on him.

"Why hello Child, I am the glorious Nicolai Technus! Master of machines! Just call me Technus." Nasally introduced Technus, pausing slightly as he seemed to consider what he would say next, looking over at Danny and blinking in confusion. "I... honestly don't know what I'm doing here to be honest... just kinda bored and I wanna do something fun." Sheepishly admitted Technus, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment, before looking down.

"Why not try and get a job at an electronic shop?" Curiously questioned Danny, the words leaving his mouth before he even processed them himself, and Danny could already feel the states from his parents at the back of his head. "You know... since you say you're really good with machines." Awkwardly finished Danny, watching as pure and utter glee lit up on Technus's face, and Danny jumped slightly when the man flicked his fingers together.

"You know what?! That's a great idea! Have you ever thought on being a tutor?" Giddily chuckled Technus, flying upwards slightly before looking around, his eyes landing on the computer before looking back towards Danny. "Do you mind if I use your computer? I wanna learn how to get a job." Loudly questioned Technus, his gaze was on Danny, who awkwardly looked back towards his parents, who in turn nodded ever so slowly.

"Sure... just don't take to long." Uncertainly informed Danny, allowing the rings of energy to crackle up around his body, as Danny knew that there would be some sort of consequence for doing something like this. 'A least that's one less enemy I could possibly have in the future.' Idly noted Danny, halting slightly as he saw a green notification in front of him, making the teen discretely look over it, as he walked over towards his parents.

"I made a friend at least." Nonchalantly admitted Danny, he could see the exasperation on their faces as they realized that this may be a common occurrence, that wasn't completely accurate since Jack looked happy. "Do you guys need me for anything else?" Awkwardly questioned Danny, seeing both of his parents gesturing that he could be dismissed, and Danny didn't waste a single second.

The second Danny was up out of the lab and out of the kitchen, where his sister and Dash were for some reason, Danny immediately opened up hid inventory and pulled out the Skill Book, accepting the notification the second it was registered. Danny's feet thumped up the stairs towards his room, as the Skill Book burst into light, flying into Danny's head just before he reached the top of the stairs.

"What time is it?" Curiously hummed Danny, glancing upwards towards the left slightly, icy blue eyes widening in realization, as Danny read the time. "I'm late!" Hurriedly yelled Danny, his shout was loud enough for everyone to head, and Danny didn't waste another second in bolting down the stairs.

(Timeskip)

Sweat dripped down Danny's face, while he read the address Mr Lancer had given him, it was only a few kilometers away from his house but running there in jeans was not comfortable at all, and it didn't help Danny that it was warm out. His wardrobe was something that had to change soon, Danny was acutely aware of how much his clothing looked the exact same, but that was an issue for another day.

Sneakers pounded as Danny slowed down, slowly halting as Danny gazed at the address of the house, and then looking down at the address that Mr Lancer had given him, before slowly blinking before looking down at the sheet of paper and then towards the house. For lack of better terms, it was a dojo, a traditional Japanese looking dojo in the city, that was apparently owned by Mr Lancer, who was an English/Biology teacher.

"I was not aware that being a teacher paid so good." Amazedly gasped Danny, shrugging his shoulders as he walked up towards the front door of the dojo, aware that he wouldn't know if that was the correct place until he tried. "Hello? Mr Lancer?" Curiously yelled Danny, hitting his knuckles off of the wall besides the door, not wanting to test how durable the flimsy looking door was.

A few seconds passed before the door slid open, revealing Mr Lancer in a martial arts outfit, with a black belt tied around his waist, but unlike any other time Danny had seen the man, he had a presence. It wasn't the sort of cold, clammy feeling one would have when a Ghost was in your immediate vicinity, but more so of a presence of power that Danny hadn't felt before.

"Ah, Mr Fenton. I'm glad that you actually came, please come in." Politely greeted Mr Lancer, Danny walked in without a second thoughts, looking around the bare house that Mr Lancer owner. "I have multiple Gi's set up in the bathroom, find one that fits and put it on. The bathroom is the second door on the left." Calmly informed Mr Lancer, walking into the first door on the left, while Danny walked down the hallway and into the bathroom, closing the door behind himself.

There was a selection of Gi's for Danny to choose from, all of them looked like they were around Danny's size, so the teen simply chose the one in the center, smiling to himself as he stripped and put on the Gi, tightening the white belt around his waist. The whole process only took a few minutes, before Danny stepped back out of the bathroom with his clothes in his inventory, and walked down towards the door that Mr Lancer had entered.

Something inside Danny screamed the second the door slid to the side, the teen could feel his hair ruffle slightly before he blinked, realizing that there was in fact a fist barely a centimeter away from his face, making Danny stumble back. Even before Danny had a chance to gather his bearing, Danny felt his left arm snap forward and both of his feet left the ground, and Danny blinked when he realized that he was staring at the ceiling, then his back hit the floor.

A gasp of pain escaped Danny's mouth, his mind still reeling from how fast and effectively he had just been flipped into the room, and Mr Lancer hadn't even hit him, merely feint an attack and flip him, that was enough for Danny to remain motionless on the floor as he tried collecting his thoughts. Mr Lancer was a lot faster than he looked, Danny didn't even know if his Ghost Form could keep up with that speeds, and against better judgements Danny slowly started sitting up.

"Now for the first lesson, tell me Danny do you think that your body is currently working at its best?" Curiously asked Mr Lancer, sitting down on his knees as he looked at Danny, and Danny's eyes squinted slightly as he tried recalling what he knew about the body.

"No... your body only uses roughly 40% of its true strength, but there have been cases when people used 100% of their strength and could deadlift cars." Slowly recalled Danny, watching as Mr Lancer nodded slightly at him to continue, while Danny tired recalling why it happens. "I know it happens when someone is under a lot of stress and adrenaline, allowing them to lift close to a tonne and a half, but I'm not sure about the brain." Uncertainly recalled Danny, seeing Mr Lancer nod at the teen once more in confirmation, and Danny was slowly getting an image of what could possibly be going on.

"What if I told you it was possible to actively draw upon this strength, I'll admit that your muscles would feel sore afterwards and a few bones may shatter if you clench to hard, but it is possible." Calmly informed Mr Lancer, nodding over towards a punching bag that was hanging in the corner of the room, before standing up and walking over towards it. "I'm not certain if Danny Phantom is capable of doing this, but I am most certain that Daniel Fenton can. Now, observe." Gently mumbled Mr Lancer, closing his eyes as he widened his stance, bringing both of his arms upwards slightly before taking a deep breath in, and then the veins around his body popped upwards.

Danny knew he didn't even see the punch fly as the punching bag was rolling across the floor, the chains that were holding it up were now scattered across the room, and Mr Lancer's right palm was where the punching bag was. The punching was was large and stuffed, by the sounds of Mr Lancer punching it Danny had concluded that it was sand inside, and doing the maths it looked like the estimated weight came to 90 kilograms at best, meaning that Mr Lancer could kill just about anyone with a single punch.

"How heavy was that?" Stiffly gasped Danny, watching as Mr Lancer slowly opened up his eyes once again, causing the veins that had popped up around the man's body to slowly die down, before cocking his head in confusion. "How heavy was that, and how much were you using?" Curiously hummed Danny, wanting to see how close his estimation was, and how weary he should be if Mr Lancer ever went all out on someone.

"Let's see, the punching bag was 100 kilograms and I used 50% of my body's power." Honestly informed Mr Lancer, trodding over towards Danny while holding onto his right hand, making Danny eye the hand in concern at how it was, icy blue eyes widening slightly as he realized that a purple bruise was already forming. "Back when I was younger and in better shape, I could use up to 79% without any backlash." Smugly added Mr Lancer, sighing slightly as his left arm traced up his right side, making Danny cock his own head in confusion.

"Why stop then? I'm sure you could've been a world famous fighter, not an English teacher." Bewilderedly questioned Danny, not seeing why someone who could literally hit something that weighed 100 kilograms several meters back would be a teacher. "And I'm certain that being a big time boxer or something would pay better." Confusedly ranted Danny, watching as a sad smile slowly grew on Mr Lancer's face as the man's eyes glazed over, as if he was replaying an old memory.

"That, Mr Fenton is a story for another time." Sadly hummed Mr Lancer, his eyes hardening in resolve, before the man himself gestured for Danny to get closer to him. "Now it's time for preparations, and I'm certain that you won't be accessing it any time soon. Firstly, you need to be in above average physical conditions which you've met, secondly you must learn how to put yourself in a trance which will help remove the subconscious mental barrier that is causing your body to hold back." Calmly explained Mr Lancer, Danny nodded along in understanding as he watched Mr Lancer sir on the ground, crossing one leg over the other before closing his eyes.

'This will hopefully be easier than what Mr Lancer think it will be.' Mentally mulled Danny, mimicking Mr Lancer's pose, wondering how everyone else was doing at the moment.

(Location change)

"I am Technus! Master of all things machines!" Loudly crackled Technus, floating in front of a man who had seen it all at this point, and the man was honestly not concerned by the fact that a Ghost was here, it killing him sounded more pleasant that this job. "I would like a job interview! I have my CV here! My plan is climb up the corporate ladder and open the number one electronic shop!" Dramatically crackled Technus, making the man who was sitting behind the desk to slowly blink, this was the first time a Ghost tried working for him.

The man slowly shrugged his shoulders before he slowly reached over, unfolding the piece of paper that had been neatly folded and placed on his desk, before allowing his amber eyes to slowly scan over it. Amber eyes lit up in interest, finally someone who was actually qualified was working here, and if the information was correct, this Technus guy could actually help repair time for most machines.

"I'll hire you, but I need to lay down some ground rules since I'm not sure how the people on top will like this." Emotionlessly hummed Benjamin Enji, the person who was left to care for this shop, and the man could see the utter happiness shining in Technus's eyes the moment he said those words. "Firstly, arrive on time and all that, secondly don't scare the customers, thirdly just don't cause chaos." Calmly explained Benjamin Enji, watching as Technus nodded in understanding, and what's the worst that could happen?

(Location change)

"Okay, so he has flight, invisibility, intangibility, overshadowing, Ecto-Ray, Ecto-Vision, Ecto-Burst, Ecto-Enhancement, Body Manipulation, and Ectoplasm Manipulation." Quietly mumbled Jack, hunched over a Tavel on the lab as he listed each of Danny's powers, trying to figure out a connection between them, before his eyes widened slightly. "Can't forget his Ghost sense, not let's see... they all require the user to be a Ghost... and I'm stumped! I wanna find a way to help predict what powers Danny could get." Pitifully whined the hulking man, his son was following in the family footsteps, and while Jack was proud of Danny for doing that, he was worried.

Deep down, Jack wanted his kids to go on in life and get a more normal job, and he was scared of Danny getting hurt one of these days or being taken away by the Government branch of Ghost Hunting, aka the Guys In White. Danny's case was unique, immensely so, living DNA had successfully bonded with Ectoplasm which was impossible, and from the readings they have taken of Danny from last week indicated he was a 3.95 on the Ectoplasmic Power scale, this morning he was a 4.01.

Ectoplasm was not supposed to grow like that outside of the Ghost Zone, even then a Ghost's Ectoplasmic Power would increase by 0.01 every year, and how strong they were when they formed depended on a lot of things. The fact alone that the Ectoplasm inside of Danny was reacting with his growing body was a scientific breakthrough, the GIW would want to know how to bond Human DNA with Ectoplasm, in order to create an army of teenage Halfas, that's why Jack wanted Danny to be strong.

Not strong that he could effortlessly destroy the GIW but strong enough so he could escape safely, and Jack wished with his whole heart that his son would be safe, regardless of how long it took, Jack would find a way to keep his son safe. Everything turned grey around Jack, making the man blink slowly before reaching for the Fenton Bazooka, only for a Ghost to appear in front of him

"I mean no harm Jack Fenton, father of little Phantom. I am Clockwork, I am aware that Danny has told you about me." Calmly informed the Ghost, that didn't make Jack any less weary for an array of reasons, the main one being is why a Ghost as powerful as Clockwork would be interested in his son. "You are weary of me, a Ghost who could wipe out humanity if he chose to, and yet he is helping little Phantom." Amusedly quipped Clockwork, his form morphing from a young adult into an elderly man, making Jack reel back slightly from the suddenness of it.

"Exactly, now tell me Ghost, why are you so interested in my son, or else we'll tango." Threateningly growled Jack, knowing that deep down he didn't even stand a chance against the Ghost who was called Clockwork, and from what little Jack could theorize on what the Ghost's powers were. 'Time control, most likely manipulation.' Mentally noted Jack, eyeing a fly that was suspended midair, and how Maddie was frozen stiff.

"I am merely making things better, for whom you may be asking yourself, and the answer is everyone." Bemusedly explained Clockwork, Jack felt his body loosen a bit as he processed the information, noting the fact that Clockwork could also see into the future.

"But will my son be happy with the outcome?" Coldly questioned Jack, the man's eyes hardened, as he slowly stood up to and pulled his shoulders back, making his hazmat suit stretch against his large body. "As a Ghost Hunter I took an oath to learn all I could about Ghosts and keep the peace between Humans and Ghosts, but as a father I vowed to put my children ahead of myself. If you use Danny for your own gains, I will exterminate you and nobody will be able to protect you." Frostily snapped Jack, watching as Clockwork merely looked him dead in the eyes, a sparkle appearing in his red orbs as he had been threatened by a Human.

"You are an interesting man, Jack Fenton. You are the type of person to strike the sun if it insulated someone you cared about, no matter the cost." Hauntingly noted Clockwork, there were people that Clockwork would avoid since they would either ignore his advice or simply be a threat and must suffer for it, but Jack Fenton was a man who either found a way to get the job down or he made one. "But, I am simply here to help speed things up slightly. Tell Danny to try and construct things with his Ectoplasm, and that he should try moving his body from one place to another with his Body Manipulation power." Helpfully stated Clockwork, Jack mentally made note of that as other schemes were going on in his head, all of them were to keep his family safe.

"I will do that, we both have goals that involve Danny it seems." Emotionlessly addressed Jack, his icy blue eyes were dull as he stared into Clockwork's own, the distrust was evident in Jack's icy blue orbs. "I want him to be safe regardless of the danger, especially from what the GIW will want from him, and your goals are unknown but I will find out." Silently whispered Jack, stuffing his hands into his pockets and bringing out a scanned, turning it towards Clockwork before turning it on.

"Time is uncertain on what will happen in the future, and that worries others and I. I am merely making things better, since if I don't then there won't be much time left for anyone." Honestly answered Clockwork, which told Jack that he was preparing Danny as a soldier, who was to fight what was going to happen in the future. "I cannot accurately predict what will happen with Danny, his paths stretch far, wide and varied, some he is the Hero that unites us all, in others he become more of a monster than Pariah Dark." Stiffly huffed Clockwork, disappearing in a flash of blue a second later, all the while Jack's eyes were on the device in his hands.

It was a handy device used to takes a Ghost's Ectoplasmic Power, the idea had come from Danny who had helped develop it, and been the test subject on it, until it was perfected. If the system that Danny had told them was accurate, he was strong for a new Ghost, unbelievably so and each whole number they increased by meant they were 10 times stronger, and the number Jack saw made his sweat.

9.49/10

The fact that this Pariah Dark guy was considering a monster by Clockwork was worrying alone, and that meant that he was stronger than Clockwork could also mean he was still alive.

"Looks like I know what I'm building soon." Exasperatedly huffed Jack, writing down the information that Clockwork had given him, before walking over to the corner of the lab and picked up some sketch paper. "A device that can stop that guy." Lowly mumbled Jack, pausing slightly before writing down the name, adding small little Ghosts coming out from the name as well.

The Fenton Ecto-Skeleton

(Location change)

Maddie had a small smile on her face as she walked up the basement stairs, she could hear Jack humming a tuneless song as she ascended, happy with the fact that her husband had gotten over the initial guilt of accidentally making Danny a Halfa. She wouldn't lie and say that she wasn't scared either, she had already experienced enough nightmares of walking into Danny's room one day and seeing a pool of Ectoplasm mixed with blood, from where Danny's body had simply given up.

'I'm happy that Danny is following in the family footsteps.' Giddily thought Maddie, aware that Danny had given up on his dreams in going to space relatively quickly, she wasn't certain if it was some sort of outside influence or not, but as long as it was his choice in the end, she would support him. "What do you want for dinner sweetie?" Curiously hummed Maddie, seeing the orange hair of her daughter Jazz, who was happily reading a book on the human mind at the kitchen table.

"Hot dog?" Uncertainly suggested Jazz, still occupied with her book but was well aware that she was being spoken with, all the while the orange haired girl was busy flicking through the pages of her book. "Be honest with me, if you had a way of turning Danny back into a Human safely, would you do it?" Bluntly questioned Jazz, her book gently being closed and placed on the table, and a moment later Maddie could feel her daughter's eyes on the back of her head.

"If he wanted to be human again, then yes I would do it." Calmly answered Maddie, she had played around with the thoughts of finding a way to turn Danny back to normal, but she had realized something quite quickly, he was happy with himself. "If he's happy then I'm happy, it is like if you were gay, I'd be okay with that, and I will support you." Nonchalantly added on Maddie, opening up the fridge and getting the necessary ingredients out of the fridge, which wasn't a lot since it was just the hot dogs and buns.

(Timeskip)

The only relatively good thing that came out of today is that he didn't have a black eye any more, as a matter of fact he had two of them now, meaning that Danny had been forced to squint at just about everything in order to see. Training with Mr Lancer had ended ten minutes ago, Danny hadn't felt like going home just yet, instead he felt better of procrastinating in the park besides the fountain.

"I wish my eyes were better." Idly mulled Danny, sighing slightly as he sat down at the ledge of the fountain with his bones cracking, his practice with Mr Lancer in order to access more of his Human side strength had been a failure for today, but one day Danny would learn. 'Why did he stop fighting then? I remember him rubbing his side... a possible injury?' Mentally theorized Danny, that was most likely the cause but Danny couldn't assume anything at the moment, since he didn't have enough information.

"As you wish, so be it." Silkily murmured a voice behind Danny, making Danny stiffen as a soft blue mist escaped his mouth, his sense telling him that there was a Ghost directly behind him, and a second later the annoying pain that had surrounded his eyes disappeared.

Danny whirled around, weary of the fact that his wish had became real, making Danny squinted suspiciously at the one who made his eyes feel better, and surprise, surprise it was a Ghost. She looked to be 5'9, but Danny wasn't certain since she had a ghostly blue tail instead of legs, and the fact that she was more beautiful than Pauline didn't help, with her light green skin and ruby red eyes, and luxurious raven black hair than hung down to her lower back. She wore a blue strapless crop top with purple trim, along with a metallic purple belt with a blue jewel in the center, purple lipstick, a blue headband, and a purple necklace, she also had two metallic purple cuffs on each arm, one on her bicep and one on her wrist, and she has two blue bangle bracelets on her right wrist and one on her left.

"Are you here for some fun or just to cause chaos?" Slowly hummed Danny, glancing around the park and noting that there was nobody present, allowing white energy to crackle along his legs, which in turned him into his Phantom self. "I'm tired and I'd rather not fight anyone." Exhaustedly moaned Danny, watching as the Ghost visibly stared in confusion at the teen, in turn making Danny as confused before realizing that he had transformed in front of her.

"So you are Danny Phantom... I was expecting you to be taller." Bluntly informed the Genie Ghost, Danny wouldn't say it aloud but he felt kinda insulted at that, it wasn't his fault that he hadn't had a growth spurt recently, and if things turned out good for him, he could be as tall as his dad and if not taller. "I am Desiree, I grant any wish I hear. I do not wish to cause chaos, but if I hear a wish I must do so." Politely introduced Desiree, toxic green eyes squinted slightly as they pieced together the information, shrugging slightly as his mind came up with a conclusion.

"So let's say if I wish for this, I wish you can choose which wish you want to grant... would that help?" Slowly asked Danny, watching as Desiree squinted at him in confusion for a solid minute, before silently waving her hand over her head, allowing pink Ectoplasm to float down around her. "Does that work?" Uncertainly asked Danny Phantom, seeing the smile on Desiree's face grow larger and larger with each passing second, the next thing Danny knew was that there was a pair of arms around the back of his head, and then Danny felt something squishy and green pressing up against his face.

*ping* +5000 Reputation with Desiree!

"So you are as smart as you are handsome." Gleefully giggled Desiree, still keeping Danny's face implanted in her breasts, and Danny could feel the cold Ectoplasm in his body rush up to his face, giving his face a green glow to it. "I owe you Danny Phantom, call me if you ever need me, but for now I will be sight seeing." Happily chuckled Desiree, pulling away for just a brief second and looking Danny in the eyes, the next second he felt something cold yet smooth on his lips, realizing that Desiree was pulling away from him and winked.

Slowly Danny raised his right hand to his mouth, gently brushing his fingers over his lips as his mind was reeling in order to catch up the current situation, and Danny felt his body stiffen as he realized what had actually happen. He had just gotten his first kiss, his first kiss had been taken by an incredibly good looking girl, who was now his friend.

"Uhhh." Dumbly moaned Danny, the teen's brain was completely overloaded now, but that didn't stop Danny's feet from leaving the ground and turning invisible, before heading back to his house.

That's a wrap people! As you can see, this chapter was mainly about people meeting with people and them talking with one another, and forming relationships. The reason why Technus isn't a bad guy, is because I find him to goofy to be one, and I recall seeing a shitpost on Tumblr (I think) about Technus working in an electronic shop.

See ya next time!

SpudLord!

Next Chapter: 22/8/20
