The Man who can create order can rule the World.

The Headmaster watched as the retreating form of Dinah Glass left his office; as soon as the door closed, he stood up quickly, his long black teacher's robe shifting as he stood up and marched perfectly towards the window so he could gaze out at the main quad in the exact spot he had been standing in when Dinah came into the room.

As he looked out of the window, the Headmaster thought for a moment while he reflected on his immediate plans. The arrival of the girl who had a significantly high IQ which he had easily discerned, despite seeing signs the girl had been trying to hide her intelligence, was perfect timing in his mind. A part of the Headmaster considered if the arrival of the girl was an act of fate, but he dismissed it.

Fate and superstition did not exist. All that existed was reason and rationality. In any case, the Headmaster carefully gauged the intelligence of the students as they came into the school with the help of the test he set them. Once he had the results, and if he was satisfied then they would be placed in the assembly where he would hypnotise them regularly in order to learn new facts. Every day all the students he believed were intelligent enough to be on the team he was hoping would allow St. Champions to win were in the quad, reciting facts after facts.

But the Headmaster was not a fool. He knew he could probably get his school into the quiz show without someone like Dinah Glass to be the lynchpin who would be able to allow the Headmaster to provide the means to achieve the final end, to bring the country, the whole world, under his order and transform the human race into a race of efficient beings.

There were many intelligent students in the school, and even the Headmaster knew that even if the test allowed him to determine the mathematical and scientific comprehension of the new students who came to the school, it didn't mean they were not intelligent although he believed true intelligence allowed them to understand the advanced fields. In any case, it made little difference, all of the teachers and Prefects had standing orders to find students who were good at other topics, and once he had found them he had them put into the assembly. The Headmaster had been monitoring each of the students for a long time, gauging for himself just how good they were. And he was satisfied with the results. It pleased him that the combination of his methods of hypnotism and compelling each of the students to be more intelligent work. He was now confident the school could be entered into the competition.

However, at the same time, he had to admit to himself having someone as intelligent as Dinah Glass appeared to be would ensure victory. The Headmaster did not care about St. Champions. The school was a means to an end, the culmination of his plans. However, he needed the children in the school to ensure victory.

As he stood in front of the window, the Headmaster considered what to do about Miss Dinah Glass.

The girl was everything he needed for his ultimate plans and his victory. She was easily susceptible to his hypnotic abilities, and she was highly intelligent although he would need to discern just how intelligent the girl was before he manipulated her into becoming the perfect pawn. A little hypnotism would be the perfect answer. However, the Headmaster wanted the girl to have her mind under her control for the competition rather than simply using his hypnotism to do the work for him.

The Headmaster knew while his hypnotism was the perfect tool needed to ensure his plans were followed through, and he could gain underlings through his powers, he understood the benefits of planting simple, subliminal commands rather than simply mass hypnotising his subjects to do what he wanted.

The Headmaster decided to wait a while and watch the girl.

He didn't think there was any other choice.

While he knew there was a chance the girl would speak to Lloyd and Harvey Hunter, he would not intervene unless he believed he had no choice.

A subtle grimace crossed the Headmaster's features as he thought of the Hunter brothers and their friends. It was rare for him to encounter people whom he could not dominate mentally, but there were some with the rare gift of being immune to his hypnotism. Ever since he had met the quintet, they had been trying to undermine the school. Lloyd, as the leader of the little gang, believed none of the teachers or Prefects under his command knew who was in the group.

Lloyd was a child. He had no idea of the full scope of his plans, although the Headmaster truly did not care what the childish gang did; while their resistance was annoying, they couldn't actually do anything. Indeed the Headmaster was almost certain that Lloyd and the group did not even know about his hypnotic abilities. They knew he was able to control everyone, but they were uncertain how he was able to do it. The Headmaster was taken by surprise by their lack of intellect.

But he knew if Dinah somehow joined the group, it would not be long before they became a proven threat to his plans; apart Lloyd and his friends were irrelevant, but with the inclusion of Dinah, they would become a serious problem. One the Headmaster simply could not allow.

There was no way he was going to let Dinah Glass slip out of his fingers. He had waited a long time for a student to be the key to his plans; even without her, he was sure they would win. The Headmaster was not a fool, he knew to depend solely on the intelligence of a single pupil in order to enable the implementation of an ordered, efficient world was a grave mistake. He had many intelligent students already. However, he was more than aware the girl was intelligent enough to ensure victory was certain.

But at the same time, he was aware the girl would not be accepted into Lloyd's little group. Lloyd and the others knew the signs of his control, even though they were unaware of how he was able to gain control. They would never accept Dinah into their fold, which ensured she would be ripe for the taking.

In the meantime, he would need to prepare. He would wait for the opportune time in order to push for St. Champions to enter the Eddie Hair competition. He would also need to watch for the right opportunities to ensure the girl worked for him, without question.

Yes, he would watch the girl in assembly today in order to determine just what he would need in order to bring her completely to his side. He would prepare little tests for the girl, tests which would enable him to make her the perfect pawn for his plans. The Headmaster turned around and checked the time. He needed to get ready for assembly; when he returned, he would start work in making preparations.
