Before 48 hours

Abhijeet came back to home after duty hours. He was opening lock when his eyes caught something. He bent down and saw a envelope present. He picked up the envelope and then opened the lock and went inside. The moment he entered inside house , his phone rang , took out mobile and saw the caller id as Daya. He picked up call.

Daya : Pohoch gaye ghar ?

Abhijeet : Ha bas abhi abhi pohcha hu.

Daya : Kya baat hai pareshan lag rahe ho tum ?

Abhijeet : Phir se envelope mila hai darwaze ke pass.

Daya : Kholkar dekha kya ?

Abhijeet : Nahi. Dekhta hu abhi.

He placed mobile between his shoulder and moved his neck in such a way that mobile was in between shoulder and neck. He picked up the envelope and opened it.

Abhijeet : Ha Daya wahi hai.

Daya : Tum chinta mat karo. Kal hum dono milkar dekhte hai.

Daya went back to incident which happened in yesterday morning.

( Flashback start )

Daya saw Abhijeet and saw him thinking over something. Daya placed a hand on his shoulder. Abhijeet came back to present.

Daya : Kaunse khayaloon me kho gaye the ?

Abhijeet : Kuch nahi.

Daya : Oh ! Samjh gaya kahi Tarika ke khayal to nahi.

Abhijeet : Aisi koi baat nahi hai.

He got his reply as second sign that something is wrong with him. Otherwise in same case Abhijeet ' s reaction was like a small smile followed by a blush on his face but today the case was different. He seemed really serious.

Daya : Mujhe nahi bataoge ?

Abhijeet simply placed a envelope on his hand. Daya took that envelope and opened and read the contents of it. He became shocked on reading it.

Daya : Ho sakta hai ki koi majak kar raha ho tumhare saath.

Abhijeet : Nahi Daya. Aise hi envelopes mujhe kai dino se mil rahe hai.

Daya : Tum chinta mat karo mere hote hue tumhe kuch nahi ho sakta. Koi tumhara baal bhi baka nahi kar sakta.

Abhijeet : Aisi baat nahi hai Daya. Mujhe meri jaan ki fikar nahi hai. Jab hum log ghar se nikalte hai tab hume pata nahi hota ki hum log ghar wapas lautenge ya nahi.

Daya : Dekho tumhe aapne jaan ki fikar nahi hai lekin hum sabko tumhari fikar hai.

Bhejne wali ki himmat to dekho ek cid officer ko jaan se marni ki dhamki di.

Abhijeet : Jisne bhi ye letter bheja hai wo jaanta hai ki mai ek cid officer hu.

Daya : Tumne apne padosiyon se pucha nahi ?

Abhijeet : Pucha na. Magar kisko kuch nahi pata ki kisne aakar ye envelopes rakh diye.

Daya took that envelope and was checking for some kind of clue on it.

Abhijeet : Koi fayda nahi hai Daya. Maine check kiya hai wo envelope. Kuch bhi saboot nahi hai us par jisse bhejne wala ka pata chal sake.

Daya : Us courier ka to pata chal sakta hai. Jisne tumhare ghar par deliver kiya.

Abhijeet : Nahi. Uspar koi stamp nahi hai. Iska matlab ye ho sakta hai ki wo jo bhi koi hai usne khud ne akar mere ghar par akar rakh diye.

Daya : Ek baat batao ye envelopes tumhe akele mile ya phir kuch aur.

Abhijeet : Nahi akele hi mile.

Daya : Iska matlab tumhara kehna sahi hai.

Abhijeet : Hmm.

Daya : Coffee pene chale.

Both of them left the topic at that point and went to have coffee.

( Flashback end )

Daya then cut the call. Morning came and Abhijeet became ready for bureau. He took out his car and was going to bureau. He was driving when noticed that a car was following him. He checked after some time , still the same car was seen following him.

Abhijeet : ( in mind ) Ab ye kya chakkar hai ? Ye gadi mera peecha kyu kar rahi hai ?

He noted the car no of car. Suddenly the car stopped. He came out of car and opened bonnet of car to check what happened. The car following his car also stopped at some distance.

Two person having scarfs tied on their mouth, rod in their hands came out from car and stood behind Abhijeet who was busy in repairing car.

At the same moment Abhijeet ' s phone rang. He picked up the call.

" Ha Daya. "

" Arey yaar kaha ho tum ? "

" Bas 2 minute me aata hu. Gaadi banakar. "

" Thik hai. Milte hai bureau me. "

" Daya. "

The two persons standing behind him went back to car.

" Ha bolo. "

" Kuch nahi yaar. "

The car was now repaired. He went inside car and drove to bureau.

As soon as Abhijeet entered inside bureau, Daya came near to him and said " Phone par kya bol rahe the tum ? "

Abhijeet : Kuch nahi.

Daya : Abhijeet.

Abhijeet : Mujhe laga ki ek car mera peecha kar rahi thi.

Daya : Tumne car ka number dekha.

Abhijeet : Ha maine likh liya hai.

At the same time , Freddy came and said " Sir Acp sir aap dono ko bula rahe hai. "

Daya : Ha aa rahe hai.

Both of them went there. The day passed in investigation. At night Daya also came to drop Abhijeet. They were going when Daya also noticed a car following both of them.

Daya : Abhijeet ek baar dekho kya ye wahi car hai jo tumhara peecha kar rahi thi ?

He got no reply. He turned and saw Abhijeet already asleep. He continued driving and decided to stay at night at Abhijeet ' s place. Both of them reached at Abhijeet ' s house. He shook him a little.

Abhijeet woke up. Both of them came inside house. Daya stayed over night at Abhijeet ' s house. The next morning, Daya woke up early and went for jogging.

He came back around 9 am. He knocked the door but no one opened the door.

Back to Present.

( Starting scenario where Daya was pressing the bell of Abhijeet ' s house and then continued up to the situation where Abhijeet got hit with two bullets inside hospital. )

Daya : Sir mujhe lagta hai ye sab usi ka kiya dhara hai.

Acp pradyuman : Tum sahi keh rahe ho.

Daya : Sir mujhe lagta hai ki abhi tak khatra tala nahi hai. Hume yaha guards ko rakhna chahiye.

Acp pradyuman : Mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai. Hume ab koi bhi risk nahi lena chahiye.

How Abhijeet got infected with virus ?
