She had to keep moving, time was running out and the burden in her arms kept growing heavier and heavier as fatigue and exhaustion came setting in. She knew she did not have long now, especially when the warning bell sounded a few minutes ago, but she had to keep moving, she needed to reach the coast before it was too late. The faster she ran, the more exhausted she became, but it did not matter, due to her enhanced hearing, she can hear the galloping of horses in the distance, closing in quickly as it seems they have already managed to track her down. Going faster than ever, she pushed her body to its limits as adrenaline flooded her system and the sight of the coast came into view. Quickly dodging to the left, she barely missed being hit by an arrow fired at her as her pursuers came into view. Despite them closing in rapidly, she continued to run, knowing that if that got to her and her burden all will be lost as she continued to dodge arrows and other projectiles launched at her by her pursuers. Despite the effort and speed put in to make it to the coast, it became apparent that she would not make it as her pursuers would catch her before she would even get close as dread and worry filled her heart until a sharp stab of pain erupted from her leg as an arrow nicked her calf just enough to make her start to fall down and tumble as she pulled her burden close and did her best to cushion it from the sudden fall as she rolled violently on the ground as her soon to be jailers caught up to her finally. Riding the horse close enough to hear to catch her if she ran while far enough to stay out of reach of her weapons, they pulled back their bows and notched new arrows while aiming at her in case she tried to scramble off once again. Two of her pursuers hopped off their horses as they drew swords and a pair of manacles to capture her. However, just as they came within a few feet of her, both of them were sent flying as if they weighed nothing as the rest of her pursuers, gazed in shock at the sudden sight and what stood behind their prisoner. Stepping out of a portal, a personification of death itself appeared before the group. Clad in thick armor forged of imposing and inhuman like steel, a green cloak covers his body with a green hood obscuring his metal face as two massive golden circles hold his cloak to his chest with a simple golden chain. Looking at the stunned and scared group, he reaches a hand out to the wounded woman as he speaks in an imposing and powerful voice, "It is time to go Myrina", he says, as he gently picks her and her burden up before disappearing in a flash as the Amazonian pursuers gaze on in, absolute shock over that just happened.

Hundreds of miles away in the Balkans, a flash of light signals the teleportation of Myrina and her savior as they both appear in front of a vast and intimidating castle.

"It took you long enough Victor, you would believe, the "all mighty" Dr. Doom would arrive on time." That says Myrina in passing as the two of them strolled towards the castle doors in a hurry as she cradled her burden carefully.

"There was a slight alteration to the plan that forced my attention and delay, events have taken and strange and particular turn of events, but our plan may now have an even greater chance to succeed if all goes according to plan." This response backs Dr. Doom as he guides Myrina into the Castle and to its underground laboratory as he directs her attention towards the change of plans as Myrina's gaze falls upon a particular sight. Sitting alone in a chair was a young nine-year old girl wearing a black leotard and purple cape and hood, trying her best not to be seen or heard as she pulls her legs to her chest and buries her head in them, in clear emotional distress as her raven colored hair helped cover her face from Myrina's view, already Myrina could already tell there was more to this girl's story that what could have been perceived as a deep and ominous demonic presence emanated from her form, leaving Myrina, that she is likely a half-breed demon or someone with strong ties to hell itself, but past her in the back of the room, is something far more particular and strange for her to ascertain. Two hulking and blacked pods along with similarly burned machinery lay there, seemingly of place due to their weather and damaged nature in this workshop, but instinctively Myrina knew these objects were the reason Dr. Doom was late.

"I see you have noticed our newest problem. These two pods, along with several heavy pieces of machinery and a singular heavily damaged robot, came falling from the sky just a few hours ago from a tear in time and space itself and crash-landed in the countryside. I was quickly notified of the situation and investigated it with my personal guards until I made a particular discovery, although heavily damaged and destroyed, the Robot stood guard over the two pods as it strove to construct a distress beacon until we discovered it. An intense fight ensued, but eventually we managed to power down the machine and capture it for study as we checked the pods for their cargo. Closing in on them, the pods carried a number and a name written on them, the number nine and eighteen respectively. '' Says Dr. Doom as he brings Myrina close to the pods as she can finally read the names written on them, "Sanguinius and Vulkan." This says Myrina out loud as she reads them before Dr. Doom speaks up.

"The most amusing part of it all, they were not empty. We found two children inside the pods and so far, the brightest doctors and scientists in Latveria completely stumped. With them, along with Mrs. Roth behind us, the chances that our plan succeeds have increased tremendously, especially if your daughter Grail turns out to be as powerful as we hope." says Dr. Doom as he turns his attention towards the bundle in Myrina's arms as it reveals a gray skinned child with blood-red eyes.
