1ST Person POV – Marinette

I didn't want to fight anymore. What was the point, when the one thing, one person, you were holding on for gives up? There is no point after that. And I was tired. So tired of it all. I just wanted everything to go away. I didn't want this anymore; I never wanted it at all.

I felt numb. Hollow. There was nothing left of me anymore.

I hear wings. It's a soft sound, and I'm surprised I heard it. I know what's coming. I don't care. His voice is in my head. I ignore it. I listen to it. I accept it.

3rd Person POV – Hawkmoth

"Hello, Marinette. I am Hawkmoth. You have been framed and lied about countless times. Well, I am giving you the power to right these wrongs and give these people what they deserve. In return, you must bring me the miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir." Hawkmoth pauses, waits. This is the part where they go 'Yes, Hawkmoth.' He waits some more. Silence. Then…

"Fine." Two earrings materialise in front of him and hover. At first, he is surprised. Then he smirks. Then he laughs.

3rd Person POV – Tikki

Tikki could feel the evil energy as Marinette was akumatised. At first, when she was silent after receiving Hawkmoth's message, Tikki was hopeful that this was Marinette fighting Hawkmoth off. Then, as Marinette finally answered with 'Fine', she knew it was all lost.

Marinette started pulling out her earrings, then, once they were both out, she was teleported from her bag into darkness.

Tikki could hear Hawkmoth as he laughed. Dread filled her and she worried for what was to come.

1st Person POV – Marinette

I felt powerful. It felt different to when I was powerful as Ladybug. Now, I had actual power. I could feel it in my body, and I came alive. I felt whole with this power. I was no longer numb or hollow. I was whole, I felt things. And I felt complete and total rage. Hatred. I was going to destroy Lila. I was going to destroy everyone who had believed her over me. And I would destroy anyone who got in my way of justice.

My path of destruction started with the police. My power came from my feelings, and I got stronger the longer I felt them. I let my feelings consume me; felt them wholly. Then I exploded. The car I was in was ripped to pieces, and the two policemen along with it. People started screaming, scrambling to get away. I hovered in the air and smiled at them, feeling my power grow again as I relished their fear.

I collected my power in my hands, and blasted the two remaining police cars, leaving them burning and in scraps. I had no regard for any death I caused. For any pain. All that mattered was my pain and my justice. If it meant killing people…

Then I would kill them all.

3rd Person POV – Adrien

Adrien hoped that Marinette had understood when he said that they should 'give up'. Really, he meant the opposite. They HAD to keep fighting. But he knew that she hadn't understood. The look of hurt and defeat on her face when he had said it said it all. He thought that he had given up. So, she had given up too. She stopped fighting them. She accepted defeat. His Marinette. His beautiful, brave Marinette, who never quit…gave up.

It hurt him to think that she had given up. He was her last hope. He knew that the only reason she still fought was because of him. Because she had someone who believed in her. Now she had nothing. And it was his fault.

1st Person POV – Marinette

I left total chaos and destruction in my path. People lay everywhere in the streets, dead or severely hurt. Buildings were blown up and burning, and debris was everywhere. With everything I destroyed the stronger I became. And the more people tried to stop me. Police, FBI, everyone. They made barricades, anything, to stop me. But the more they fought, the more I fought back.

I was on alert for Chat Noir. It surprised me that he wasn't already fighting me, but I couldn't complain. The longer he held off, the closer I came to the school. Until I blew open the door.
