Heyo! Here it is, the very first story I've made for Fanfiction site. Keep in mind that while I've been writing fanfictions since around 2013, this is the first time I've written my stories in this format. So if things seem a little off or out of place, that's why.

Still, I'm always welcoming feedback from users.

And with that, let's begin the story!

Lori Loud has always been the leader of the Loud kids; making sure everyone was in line and well behaved when the parents weren't around. It had been a rough start for her, but over time she became more mellow and relaxed when it came to watching over her younger siblings. And now she was almost off to college, thus a new Loud would need to take her role.

The Loud kids in question were all at the table eating pizza, though not the traditional 'Lynn-Tastic' dinner they were used to, as the parents were staying at a hotel for the weekend.

"You know, it feels like an eternity since we last ordered food." said Lincoln.

"Too right there mate." Luna spoke in her british accent.

"You're still using that accent?" Lisa snarked. "Keep doing that and I almost feel some people will consider it a stereotype."

Luna rolled her eyes at the little genius, uncaring towards her thoughts as she normally would. "Whatever dude, like you've ever tried appreciating another accent from yours."

After that, the pun-making sister spoke up to her eldest. "It's almost crazy to believe you're off to college soon Lori."

"I know, I'm so nervous." Lori responded. "Hopefully I'll stay around long enough to get a degree.

"We're all gonna miss you." said Lana.

"Yeah, especially Leni! She won't even have a roommate after this!" Lola spoke up.

"Maybe she should ask Lincoln to be her precious new roommate." Lynn snarked, followed by a chuckle.

Lincoln was not ready to be reminded of the last two times he had a roommate. "No way, I'm not going through with another roommate! Not after the last two gave me a headache." He referred to the time Lynn slept his room, and the time he was forced to move in with Lily.

The youngest sister took no offence to Lincoln's comment as babies tend to do, but Lynn was beginning to feel a tinge of annoyance. She had always seen herself as Lincoln's most fun sister, and being spoken down like that was not something she accepted easily most of the time.

"Oh come on, I was an amazing roommate! You even inherited my traits!'

"Yeah but only so you could see how annoying they were!"

"They were not!"

"Of course you'd say that, you never accept harsh reality."

Lynn's tolerance was almost running out. She grabbed her slice of pizza and threw it directly towards Lincoln, at least until Lana jumped out and grabbed it with her mouth. "Thanks for the extra slice big sis!"

"Lana! I was shooting for Lincoln!"

"Whatever." Lana said before she belched. "I'm just taking what you didn't want."

"Lana, you should learn some respect." said Lola.

"It's Pizza Lols, can you really be that surprised?" Lana responded.

"It's the typical Slice of Life you expect!" Luan giggled as everyone else groaned.

"Well either way, Lincoln couldn't take a simple joke!" Lynn jabbed at her brother.

"It's not just that, your jokes aren't funny and not even like they were jokes. They make Luan's look like a masterpiece."

"Aww, thanks Lincoln!" Luan smiled.

Lynn continued to get annoyed, slumping back at her seat, a frown across her face. "Whatever, Stinkoln."

"Will you stop calling me that?!" Lincoln snarled.

"Can you guys stop acting like animals?!" Lola snapped.

"Hey, that's a compliment right there." Lana snarked.

"KNOCK IT OFF LANA!" Lola pushed at her twin.

Lana was taken aback from Lola's sudden aggression, followed by a sudden fight between them.

"Oh joy, now the twins are fighting." Luna uncaringly pointed out.

"Great! Let's have a food fight!" Lynn said as she slapped Lincoln with another slice of pizza.

"Oh come on Lynn!" Lincoln groaned.

"Hey! That was my slice!" Luan said.

"And it was your second too." Lucy mentioned.

Luan grew irritated from Lucy's obvious reminder, so she also snatched her slice and tossed it in her hair.

"Gasp, you will pay for that."

And just like that, the rest of the family engaged in some form of aggression, food or empty handed. Lori, naturally being the oldest, was about to break the tension, until...

"O M GOSH, STOP FIGHTING! Can you guys just sit down and relax?!"

The fights stopped, and the expressions turned to shock. It wasn't Lori who spoke up.

It was Leni.

The nervous blonde sat back down, her face turning red in the process. "S-sorry, I just... wanted the fighting to stop."

Lori was the sister most surprised by Leni's outburst. She knew Leni would occasionally get angry if their past fights were anything to go by, but her having a go at everyone for their fighting seemed like a next level step for her. "Leni..." She finally spoke. "That was really noble of you to do that."

"R-really?"

"Yeah. You have some real guts telling ALL of your younger siblings to settle down."

"I'm sorry."

"You don't have to be. You're right, everyone was getting out of control." Lori turned to her younger siblings. "Weren't they?"

The others formed faces of guilt. "Sorry Leni." They all eventually said.

"Thank you guys." said Lori. "See? They knew when to stop when you told them."

Leni slowly nodded, her spirits lifting. "You're right, I did do a good thing."

"And you know Leni, that was only your first attempt to be more responsible." Lincoln brought up.

Leni suddenly gasped, thinking she had done something wrong. "I swear I've been cleaning my room!"

The family simply facepalmed at Leni's dumb remarks, some offering slight giggles as this was common for them. Lori put her hand on Leni's shoulder. "That's not what he meant Leni. It means you took your first chance to be the most responsible of the family."

"But like, isn't that your job Lori?"

"For now it is."

The last comment made Leni feel a bit down, knowing Lori was referring to her going off to college soon. She wasn't even ready to forgive herself after she attempted to sabotage Lori's dreams. Lori could tell this in Leni's face, and tried to console her.

"I know it seems a bit difficult for you right now," Lori said. "But you know I won't be gone forever."

"I know."

"And since I'll be going away, you get to take over as leader of the Louds."

"Does this mean we won't get whistle blowing or commander junk?" Luna brought up as Lori gave her a glare, causing her to back down.

"Gee, leader of the Louds?" Leni said, rubbing her arm. "That sounds difficult."

"Only because there's nine people you gotta watch." said Lana.

"Don't worry Leni," said Lori. "You'll be fine. I'll guide you through everything you need to know about looking after your siblings.

Leni brightened up. "Okay Lori! I'm ready!"

"Okay okay, let's not jump to things too quickly. Besides, we have a table to clean."

The table in question was in a mess thanks to the fight from earlier. The siblings' faces all met with despair knowing what they were getting into.

"Fine Lori, we'll get started cleaning." said Lynn.

"Too bad you started it." Lucy pointed out.

"Don't start Lucy!"

The siblings left the kitchen to find cleaning equipment. Lori followed them with Leni being last behind her.

Can I really be as good as Lori? Well, surely! I'm being taught by the best of the best! Or is that Mom?

Sorry if Chapter 1 seems so short. I promise the next one will be longer!
