Well well well, people of the Internet, here we are again. I promised a sequel when the game came out, and here I am, writing it. I almost can't even believe it myself. I wrote "The World We Live In" five years ago, and I just looked at the analytics today. People STILL continue to read it, which blows my mind. I wrote it while I was still in college. I've since graduated, have a full-time job, am 24 years old for God's sake, and am currently spiritually married to the woman who always encourages me to write, and who has gotten me through the last week of pondering I've done. Yes, I've gotten to see the whole game, and trust me, I have OPINIONS. As I saw the game, I saw where this story would go with Kara involved, and while it may be a surprise to some, I truly feel that this is the best way to do things, and the way it makes the most sense. I'm really enjoying being in Kara's mind again, and my goal is to upload weekly, even with my schedule being pretty unpredictable. I think the weirdest part for me is that, at the time of writing this, we are currently in a global pandemic, and it's kind of been making me feel like we are in the "Last of Us" universe in some strange way. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I do (since the whole thing is in my head). And unlike what Naughty Dog said about "The Last of Us Part ll", Kara is the only readable character. I hope everyone understands the joke. Anyway, please leave a review, as I love to hear everyone's perspective on things, be it good or bad. Thank you for being here, and thank you for reading.
~Tess
p.s. I'm seriously considering starting a YouTube channel where I talk about my TLOU stories, and the games themselves. Thoughts?
