Series 1, Episode 6: Dalek

The 'Cage', as Henry van Statten put it, was unusually dark. Through the dark, he could barely make out four cylinders poking out of the ground. They were covered with chains, keeping a firm hold on the alien in the center. The alien was unusually small, and had a weird glint where it's face was. There was something darkly familiar about that glint, but the Doctor couldn't place it.

He crossed the room to a table, where various torture equipment lay. He could feel the alien following him, the chains clinking, and the weird glint studying him. The Doctor grimaced in both sympathy and disgust at the equipment, then turned to the alien.

"Sorry about Mr. van Statten.", said Doctor. "He's kind of an idiot. Don't worry, though, I'm here to help. I'm the Doctor."

A pause followed, as the glint continued to study him. "Doc…tor?", said the alien, in a voice that sounded like a small child's. The Doctor froze. "No.", he said. "It-It's not possible."

"The Doctor?", said the alien, and the lights went on. There, chained to the four columns, was a small, child-like person. She was completely red, right down to her clothes, and her hair was in an afro. The most distinguishing mark though was a large gemstone where her right eye should be.

The Doctor stared in shock as the small humanoid began to scream in rage, and struggle against her bonds, trying to claw at the Doctor. All the Doctor could do was stare… then, he laughed…
