Tamantha and Thomas Turner were polar opposites. Tammy for one took after her mother in looks. She had brown hair like her father, laying on her back softly with the same front spiked hair as her father. Her glasses sat on her face, held up by her small rounded nose, while she sported a pink headband like her mother. Her white t-shirt complimented her pink plaid skirt and blue shoes. Sharing the same regal blue eyes as her whole family.

Tommy took after his father in looks. He had the same short spiked hair except it was black like his mother's. He had the same pointed nose and buck teeth as his father. He wore a pink shirt, blue pants, shoes and pink hat, almost exactly like his father used to wear.

Even in personalities they were different, despite being twins. Tammy took her father's love for video games and some might say his small brain and laziness he had at her age. Tommy took after his mother in his personality. He loved learning and homework, looking out for others. Though a hint of laziness could be seen from time to time.

The things they shared made them miserable. The terrible and evil Vickybot babysitter, the mean teacher, the bullies, their loser status, their dad who suddenly had no time for them and their mother who had died while they were young. Despite this misery there was a light which made them happy each day.

Their fairy godparents.

Cosmo and Wanda were always there for them. Through all the pain they were always there to comfort them. Always there to make them feel happy. Always there to bring hope.

"Boring. Boring. Boring. Ugh boring again!"

10 year old Tamantha Turner was shifting through old photos of her parents, Timothy and Tayla Turner. Each photo she chucked to the side. Why were they all so boring?

"Tammy can you keep it down?"

Tammy's twin, Tommy, was sitting at his desk and trying to complete his homework. Tammy's yelling wasn't helping him at all.

"I'm sorry, Tommy." Tammy bit back sarcastically, "but our parents are sooooo borrriinnnggg!"

Tommy sighed and leaped down from his desk and walked over to his twin. Tammy was now staring at a picture of their father as a young boy, smiling at the camera with two fish in a fishbowl behind him. A 'poof' could be heard behind them and the twins turned their heads to see their pink and green fairy godparents.

"Watcha looking out?" Cosmo asked as he flew down next to Tammy.

Tommy rolled his eyes, "Tammy found some old photos of our parents."

Cosmo and Wanda shared a look which gained attention from Tommy. Raising an eyebrow he was about to open his mouth when Tammy cut in. "How can they be so boring! I mean come one. All these pictures are lame. At least Mum had sort of interesting childhood."

"Hold up, Timmy had the most inter-" Cosmo had his mouth zipped by Wanda who poofed an actual zipper.

Again Tommy wondered what they were doing. "I'm sure your father had an interesting childhood," Wanda smiled as Tammy scoffed.

"Yeah right. All these photos are of him and these two goldfish and his friends and mum." Tammy shoved the photo into Wanda's face as to prove her fault.

Wanda gently pushed the photo away and Cosmo unzipped his mouth letting out a huff. It was silent for a few seconds as they looked at more photos. Tommy kept stealing glances at the two fairies, they seemed to be hiding something.

Tammy pulled out another photo of her dad with his two goldfish. He was sitting in the back of a car with the fishbowl in his lap. "Wowee!" Cosmo exclaimed, "That's the exact photo we have."

Before Wanda could protest Cosmo poofed up a photo. Tommy grabbed it and his eyes widened. The photo was the exact same except the two goldfish had pink and green eyes and not completely normal gold fish faces.

Tammy gasped at the photo and Wanda glared at her husband. Tommy turned to them, eyes narrowed, and said, "care to explain?"

Wanda let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Cosmo was smiling like an idiot, "that's just Timmy, me and Wanda!"

"What!" Tammy snapped her head around, "our dad was your godchild?"

Wanda looked at them with an apologetic face, "we can't really tell our godchildren our past godkids unless they find out."

"And back to my point!" Cosmo exclaimed yet again. "Your dad had the most interesting childhood ever. I mean he saved the world about 3 times, I think. He was friends with an alien and people from a different dimension. His wishes got him close to dying. He's saved Fairy World from Anti-Fairies and Pixies. Oh he also wished for Poof!"

Tammy and Tommy sat, dumb founded. Their father had saved the world? Aliens and dimensions were real?

"It's all true. And that's just the tip of the iceberg." Wanda told the twins once she saw their faces. She knew it was only a matter of time before her current godchildren found out about their father.

"Why did he need fairies?" Tammy asked quietly.

"He was as miserable as you two. Maybe even more," Wanda explained. "He was bullied all the time, had an evil babysitter, parents who never believed him and who always left him alone. Had a mean teacher who always gave him Fs because Timmy was accused of having fairies and his teacher just hated him. He was known as a loser and had a obsessive crush who never left him alone."

Once again the twins were frozen with shock at this discovery. "Wow..." Was all that came from Tommy.

The room was silent and Wanda spoke again. "Tell your father this. No matter how bad your childhood was, never let your children have the same. Say it's from his oldest friends."

The twins nodded and Wanda knew that even if Timmy may not remember her and Cosmo, he would always remember the bond he shared with two friends he could never place.

Probably one of my longest oneshots. I absolutely adore Tammy and Tommy and wish they had more fanfictions. If know of any good ones including them let me know! Also let me know about how this story went.

Tayla is just a made up character. I know everyone says Tammy and Tommy's mother are either Trixie or Tootie. But I believe Timmy actually found a different person.

Disclaimer: I don't own Fairly Oddparents! I really wish I do
