"Mr. Izuku Midoriya, we regret to inform you that your application to U.A. has been denied."

And with but a single letter, his lifelong dream of becoming a hero had been swiftly crushed. He could already feel the tears pooling in his eyes. They would have fallen had he not seen there was more to the note.

"However, due to your performance during the entrance exam and the conduct you displayed during it, we believe you are more suited towards a certain project."

despair quickly gave way to confusion. His performance? He didn't think he did well at all. He doesn't remember anything remarkable about the way he acted. Project? What could that possibly mean?

"By the time you recieve this letter, a representative will arrive at your home to speak to you. We expect great things from you."As he finishes reading, there's a knock on the door. It startles both him and his mother. As he moves to open it, his mind is racing. Could this be the representative the letter spoke of? What is he a representative of, exactly? What could this project even be?As the door is opened, a man much taller than Izuku is behind it. He's dressed like what you would expect a detective to dress like. He takes off his hat and begins to speak.

"Mr. Midoriya. My name is Tsukauchi Naomasa. I would like to talk to you about the SPD Program. May I come in?"
