Chapter 1. Fraud

Not only does Sardinia rarely rain, but since morning Sardinia was attacked by unusual storms throughout the Island of Sardinia. A heavy rain, Lightning struck everywhere, and even a powerful gale destroying properties. without any news from the weather forecast, the storms began to strike in the morning as if it suddenly magically appeared out of nowhere.

With a lot of facilities damaged or destroyed the resident began to panic. Not a few people injured or even lost their lives. The situation was nothing short of a disaster. But, for some group people that lived in Italy aware of the cause of the storms.

And around midday...

"How dare you!"

As the storm started to subside in voice howled across a certain plain area creating a shockwave. The massive being glared furiously towards a young man around seventeen with dark hair. His appearance clearly shows that he was of Asian origin.

"How dare you, brat! You betrayed me! Me! A God!" The howl getting weaker, but the source didn't look as if his anger subsided. No, it's because the massive body of the so-called God starting to disintegrates in motes of light.

"Now that's unbecoming from a God of your stature. Giving a false accusation, what would your fellow Gods think about you now Melqart-sama." Said a young man with a mock surprise.

"I didn't betray anyone. You saw I throwing pebbles at Vetheragna right, I was busy helping you defeat him. It's Erica the one who struck you down, and I need to remind you that she wasn't part of our negotiation." Reasoned the Asian young man as he starting to walk to an unconscious beautiful blonde girl.

"Grr!" Melqart growled at the young man's statement he was deceived that was true, but what the young man said was not wrong either. The massive God's anger starts to subside knowing that it was just for naught. He decides to use his remaining time to question the young man for the last time. "What's your name brat?"

The young man just kneeling beside the blonde girl noticing that most of her wounds start healing quite fast. The young man smiled knowing that she was fine now and undergone a certain ascension into a higher being.

The young man stood and turn around to look at the dying God for the last time. "It's Godou. Godou Kusanagi."

"Godou Kusanagi. Yes, I'll be sure to remember that name and the girl..."

"She is Erica Blandelli." Supplied Godou answering Melqart.

"I'll remember you both the one who deceived a God, Godou Kusanagi. And the one who usurped his power, Erica Blandelli. Till we meet again because next time we meet I'll be the one who defeats both of you..." The God's form finally disintegrated entirely.

Godou turned his attention to another God in youthful appearances that have been silent the entire time. "... well, do you mind waiting until Erica's awake?"

The God in question whole body trembled his face showing that he was barely holding himself back. "Surely you jest, warrior! I've been waiting for this! I wouldn't be denied to taste another 'victory' any much longer than this! Hahaha!" the God laughed. His laugh and expression were already borderline in insanity.

"Wait, at least let me move her to a safer area..."

"Godou Kusanagi-san!" Shouted a voice that quite familiar to him recently. He saw Erica's maid Arianna driving her car.

"Arianna-san!?" Nice timing Arianna-san! Godou surprised and relieved at the same time since the maid arrival couldn't be more perfect.

"Godou-san are you-!? E-Erica-sama?!" Arianna noticed Erica laying on the ground unconscious she realized that she's unharmed aside from some dirt on the great knight. But before the maid could say anything Godou already carrying the blonde to the car.

"Arianna-san, don't worry Erica is fine. She'll explain everything when she woke up. Now I want you to take Erica back to Lucretia-san's mansion so that she could gain a full recovery in a safe place." Commanded Godou.

"Eh? but what about you Godou-san?!" Asked Arianna.

Arianna saw with both of her eyes that the massive God that caused the disturbance across Sardinia already defeated. Not only because the storm stopped but also you could see that Melqart began to disappear in motes of light from a safe distance.

After the raven-haired young man put Erica inside the car he turned his gaze to the God that willing to wait for him despite the said God must be using all of his will power to not attack them.

Arianna herself turned her eyes noticed a teen around fifteen with dark purple hair and a tattoo on his forehead. Who?

"I still have some unfinished business. Go, Arianna-san! Take Erica to Lucretia-san's place as quickly as you can!" Commanded Godou again.

Arianna obeyed his command immediately. She felt as if she was just received an order from someone that was obviously far beyond her. And her body simply goes into auto mode and does the duty which entrusted to her.

After Godou saw the car far enough he turned his attention back to the God. "Sorry for the wait. Let's do this."

{I pray upon the battlefield, oh great Goddess graces me with your presence for I'm the incarnation of war.} Chanted Godou.

Words full of power reverberated around the area. An authority. The power of Gods had been invoked by Godou. But Godou was not a God that much obvious. No, he was something else. He was the enemy of God. One of very few humans who possess the power to slay the Gods.

The youthful God couldn't help to let out another boisterous laugh. "Hahaha, Looks like I haven't been wrong. Now! Let me taste another victory, and this time don't hold anything back like before, God-slayer!"

"Heh, I'm not sure if a fraud like me could meet your expectation. And please don't ask me to use Authorities for something akin to high school sports festival." Said Godou smiling wryly.

Dark mist swirling around Godou and started to form a black-purple scythe with a chain in Godou's hand.

The God summoned his own golden sword and dash towards Godou with abnormal speed, "Show me more of your power, Godou Kusanagi!"

Godou dash at the Persian Warlord with his own unbelievable speed meeting the God's attack.

And I decided to write something for Campione.

My source only anime for this teaser, but I'll start to read the LN immediately. There is a possibility that this prologue might even need to be rewritten after I read the LN.
